Abstract

Field trips are a method of carrying out learning activities in PAUD institutions by directly observing the world according to reality, which includes humans, animals, plants, and other objects. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the field trip learning method on science abilities in children aged 5-6 years at Hasanah Lolo Kecil Kindergarten, Bukit Kerman District. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods. This research includes Pre-Experimental Design. The population of this research is 12 children, the sample of this research is 12 children. The sample collection technique uses the Nonprobability sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used observation. Data analysis used in this research is t-test, homogeneity test, normality test, hypothesis test. Based on the results of the analysis on the pre test and post test, the value of t count is 6.02427 when compared to t table 1.7959, so t count > t table, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the field trip learning method on science abilities in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Hasanah Small Lolo District of Bukit Kerman.

Abstract

The 21st century and revolution 4.0 have demanded students to be able to master high-level thinking skills (HOTS) and be able to take advantage of increasingly modern technology. This study aimed to discover the effects of digital literacy, creative thinking, and critical thinking on the problem-solving abilities of elementary school students in West Jakarta. Data collection was carried out using a survey system and closed questionnaires. From a sample of 117 students picked up from five clusters randomly of Dian Harapan Daan Mogot School representing primary schools in West Jakarta. Data analysis was a quantitative approach using regression. The results of the study show that digital literacy has a positive effect on the ability to solve problems. Digital literacy has a positive effect on checking information. Digital literacy skills do not have a positive effect on justification. Creative thinking has a positive effect on checking information. Creative thinking does not positively affect justification. Creative thinking has a positive effect on the ability to solve problems. Critical thinking positively affects the ability to solve problems.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are important components in determining the success of the educational process and one of the factors in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. The importance of educational facilities and infrastructure makes every educational institution make every effort to meet the standards of educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The research subjects were school principals, teachers, administrative staff, and school heads of the Sarpras section of schools. The data collection technique used is the interview method, the observation method, and the documentation method, which will later obtain primary and secondary data to then be analyzed together to draw conclusions. Based on the results of the research that the authors have done, it can be concluded that the management of infrastructure facilities at SMK 17 Seyegan in supporting the learning process is quite good. However, some of the management of facilities and infrastructure has not been realized, including in the process of planning, procurement, use, maintenance and elimination of infrastructure facilities. The constraints experienced were the lack of human resources in administration and infrastructure as well as incoming funds for the procurement process and infrastructure management processes which were still slow

Abstract

This study aims to implement Hadoop MapReduce as a data processing framework in order to predict student graduation predicates. The growth in the number of students in higher education institutions has led to an increasingly large and diverse volume of academic data. The use of Hadoop MapReduce is expected to overcome the challenges of large-scale data processing and support the development of an efficient pass rate prediction system. This research method involves analyzing student academic datasets, which include information such as exam results, course grades, classes taken, and other academic attributes. This data represents the population of students enrolled in a particular study program at higher education institutions. Hadoop MapReduce is implemented to process data in parallel, using the Map and Reduce functions, as well as setting the appropriate configuration so that the system can handle large-scale data processing efficiently. This study aims to implement Hadoop MapReduce as a data processing framework in order to predict student graduation rates. The use of Hadoop MapReduce is expected to overcome the challenges of large-scale data processing and support the development of an efficient pass rate prediction system. The MapReduce Framework execution process was carried out very quickly, with the longest execution time of 2,375 milliseconds and the fastest 105 milliseconds, for processing student GPA data and the number of student credits, respectively. The prediction test results for 2015 graduates showed a difference of 23 students between the prediction results and reality, with a prediction error rate of 2.09%. Hadoop MapReduce is able to handle data processing very efficiently, even for relatively small data. In addition, the prediction of student graduation rates using the implemented system gives adequate results with a low error rate. Nevertheless, it is necessary to carry out further evaluation and improvement of the prediction model to improve prediction accuracy. Thus, Hadoop MapReduce remains the right choice for big data analysis and processing in various applications, including in the context of predicting student graduation rates.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities and learning outcomes of class X PK 2 MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan through the implementation of the Group Investigation learning model in English subjects. This type of research uses classroom action research. This research is reflective in nature by increasing classroom learning in a more professional manner. The subjects in this study were 33 students of class XPK 2. Implementation of this study using the "cycle model". This cycle consists of four components, namely (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Data collection in the research was carried out by means of discussions, interviews, observations, and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive analysis and percentage analysis. The results showed that first, the learning outcomes obtained by students using the Group Investigation learning model increased along with an increase in students' understanding of the material being studied in the teaching and learning process of English subjects. Second, the use of cooperative learning with the Group Investigation learning model type can increase student learning activity and motivation in the teaching and learning process of English subjects. Third, achieving the learning objectives that have been formulated in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in the teaching and learning process of English subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts made by teachers in using audio-visual media to increase the learning interest of class IX students Batam City, as well as to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is a qualitative research using observation, interviews and documentation to obtain data. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the efforts made by the teacher in using audio-visual media to increase student interest in learning are by displaying learning videos, developing subject matter during material delivery, and providing conclusions about the learning videos that are displayed, and always providing motivation so that students always have an interest and enthusiasm for learning. The effort is stated to be effective in its use. The supporting factors are the availability of school facilities, students' interest in participating in learning, and the increasingly sophisticated technology. And the inhibiting factors are changes in student conditions, inadequate classrooms, and limited facilities.

Abstract

This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The data used is taken from the lyrics of Nadin Amizah's song on the song entitled "Bertaut" which is available on the internet site. The theory used is affixation, affixes, and forms of affixes. The problem discussed is the use of affixes in the song lyrics in the song. From the results of the study, it was shown that there were many uses of affixation in Nadin's song lyrics. There are 115 words that contain affixes in the lyrics of the linked song. Of the 115 data found for affixed words, prefixes had the highest percentage of use, namely 19 data consisting of the prefixes ber, me-, se-, di- and ter-. The prefix that is most found is the prefix meN-, while the prefix that occurs the least frequently is the prefix te(R)-. The suffixes found in 31 data consist of –nya, -kan, -an, and –i suffixes. The suffix that is most found is the suffix -an, while the suffix that occurs the least frequently is the suffix -nya, -kan, -i. and no Confix found.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out about the nature of educational supervision, the role of supervision, the purpose of supervision, principles of supervision, types (styles) of educational supervision. The research was carried out at the base school of the flagship presidential instruction of Putri Taman Sari. In this study using a descriptive literature method, from various sources, namely books, articles, journals, and other reading sources. The objective of creating this interactive media is to facilitate and simplify the process of delivering educational. The result of the evaluation, namely Education Supervision, is a method carried out by school supervisors or school heads with the aim of improving the quality of learning in each educational institution, and includes various interrelated aspects, such as monitoring, guidance, evaluation, and development of teacher professionalism. With the aim of providing assistance and providing convenience to educators in improving their teaching abilities, it aims to realize the learning goals of students to be achieved.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: (1) the effect of the problem-based learning models on computational thinking skills assisted by geogebra media; (2) student responses to the use of geogebra-assisted problem-based learning models for flat sided geometric material. The type of research is a quasi-experimental with a posttest-only control design, the research population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample of this research were 25 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class who were taken by cluster random sampling. Data collection on computational thinking skills used a test instrument in the form of a description consisting of 2 questions and student responses using a response questionnaire. The indicators of computational thinking skills that were measured in this research were decomposition, pattern recognition, generalization and abstraction, and algorithmic thinking. Data analysis used the t test (Independent Sample t-Test) for computational thinking skills and percentages for student response questionnaire. Based on the research results obtained (1) there is a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on the ability computational thinking skills assisted by geogebra; (2) there is a positive response from students towards the use of a problem-based learning model assisted by geogebra media on flat sided geometric material.
