<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to describe poetry writing skills that are applied to junior high school students, which are expected to improve learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is classroom action research. The data in this study are student learning outcomes taken using test and non-test techniques. The test technique was carried out in the form of an essay question which consisted of 1 question, and non-test techniques which consisted of observation, interviews, and questionnaires, before the problem based learning model was applied, students' knowledge of poetry and student scores were still very low. Through the problem-based learning model, students find it easier to participate in learning to write poetry, find it easier to find imagination, and student scores rise above the KKM, which initially scores below 70. After applying the problem-based learning model, student scores rise above the KKM and the average grade students to 76.]]>

<![CDATA[By using the aforementioned characters, it is hoped that students'' vocabulary mastery will go beyond simply knowing the definitions of the words. This is especially true for words and phrases that are commonly used or found on social media, such as Tiktok. Students'' language proficiency increases with the size of their vocabulary. They can mold their English and consider it one of their school topics by developing their vocabulary. The authors were motivated to conduct this study to learn more about the impact of social media platforms like Tiktok on vocabulary development in pupils based on the information and issues mentioned above. Pre-experimental research using a quantitative method was the research design used in this study. The researchers chose this approach because it provided a quantitative study design that was used to share questionnaires. The results of the survey show that students have a positive attitude towards using TikTok to learn English vocabulary. Due to the variety of vocabulary levels available, TikTok significantly helps students improve their English vocabulary. In addition, TikTok''s many engaging elements help to effectively improve students' vocabulary. In conclusion, TikTok is a technology tool that has a significant impact in many different areas. The use of TikTok in language learning increases students'' motivation to learn and is successful in acquiring English vocabulary.]]>

<![CDATA[Responding to the ever-evolving era requires various efforts to improve structures in various fields, be it political, social or educational institutions, that's why every era there is educational renewal, both general education and Islamic education. This study aims to describe the renewal of Islamic education starting from Islamic boarding schools, madrasas until now, which are known as Islamic elite schools. This research uses literature study method. The results of this study conclude that the renewal of Islamic education starts from Islamic boarding schools, madrasas and elite schools based on the demands of the times to be able to excel in various scientific fields, not only in the field of Islamic sciences but this renewal also aims for Islamic educational institutions to excel in general scientific fields.]]>

<![CDATA[This study examines the convergence theory's applicability in the language acquisition process of two language ambassadors who possess excellent English speaking abilities. The research utilizes a qualitative method, employing in-depth interviews as the primary data collection tool. The respondents, Vina and Rafli, were selected based on their outstanding English proficiency demonstrated through language tests and academic achievements. Findings reveal that both internal factors (such as interest and talent) and external factors (such as supportive environments and learning facilities) significantly contribute to the respondents' language proficiency. The study concludes that the convergence theory accurately explains the language acquisition process in the cases of Vina and Rafli.]]>

<![CDATA[The marketing tool used to help sell goods is commonly called advertising. Advertising serves to provide information, both services, ideas and ideas that are solicitation or persuasive. Advertisers can attract potential customers by using persuasion strategies that will be discussed in this analysis. The source of the data in this study is a piece of advertising discourse. Online advertising discourse on the Shopee application is the data used in this study. The data is in the form of sentences with word choices that attract buyers. The data collection step uses the observation method or the listening method, namely listening to the use of language in advertising discourse. Researchers select data according to research needs. The data analysis used in this study is an interactive model analysis. Interactive analysis basically involves three components, namely, (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation. The results of the study show that there are two ways advertisers persuade potential customers, namely implicit persuasion and explicit persuasion.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem discussed in this study is how to improve the social studies learning outcomes of students in class IV A SD Telkom Makassar through the use of zoom e-conference application assisted by digital game based learning wordwall. The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of students in class IV A SD Telkom Makassar through the use of zoom e-conference application assisted by Digital Game Based Learning Wordwall. The research subjects were 24 students. This type of research is a class action research. The research procedure consists of 4 stages namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques used in this study are: observation and test. The results showed that in cycle I the criteria for classical completeness was 58.33% with an average student learning outcome score of 74, increased in cycle II the criteria for classical completeness was 100% with an average student learning outcome score of 80. So that there is an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle II, student learning outcomes have reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set at 75. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in the average value from cycle I to cycle II by using the zoom e-conference application assisted by digital games based learning wordwall which contains students more enthusiasm and interest in paying attention to learning so that there is no need to do cycle III. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the use of the zoom e-conference application assisted by digital game based learning wordwall can increase the average value of social studies learning outcomes of students in class IV A SD Telkom Makassar from 74 to 84.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to prove that there is an influence of the word square learning model on student learning outcomes in mathematics at SD IT Kamiliyah Palembang. The population of this research is all class IV even semester of 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a purposive sampling technique, which means data collection techniques with certain considerations in taking the sample. The samples in this study were students of class IVA as the control class and students of IVB as the experimental class. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type. The research design used in this research is the Post Test Only Control Group Design. In this design there are 2 groups selected randomly (R). Research on class IVB as an experimental class using the word square learning model. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing on the posttest values of the experimental class and control class using the t-test (Independent sample T-test) with the help of SPSS, the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of the word square learning strategy assisted by media images on the learning outcomes of Mathematics for class IV SD IT Kamaliyah Palembang. It is suggested that this model can improve students' skills and activeness in answering and solving various questions from easy questions to difficult questions.]]>

<![CDATA[The primary objective of this research is to assess the relationship between poverty and public education expenditure on the human development index in the province of Southern Sumatra. Ordinary Least Squares analysis (OLS) is used in this probe. The data used in this study includes secondary data gathered in five southern Sumatra provinces between 2016 and 2021. Poverty has a negative and considerable impact on human development in the Province of Southern Sumatra, whereas state investment in the education sector has both a good and negative impact. crucial for Southern Sumatra's Provincial Human Development Index, everything else being equal. Poverty and government spending on education have major effects on the human development index in the southern Sumatra province.]]>

<![CDATA[A teacher must choose an appropriate development model to develop e-learning. The goal is that e-learning has components that can accommodate good quality learning. One of the development models that can be used is the ADDIE model developed by Robert Maribe Branch, a Professor in the field of learning, design and technology. This research is a literature study. The aim is to review the ADDIE model for biology e-learning development. Data was collected, analyzed and synthesized from various sources such as articles, previous studies, reports and books. The data analysis technique is content analysis and is presented in a qualitative descriptive manner.
