Abstract

The balance of payments is a reflection that can be used as a benchmark for Indonesia's welfare and economic performance. This research aims to find out how the global economy and macroeconomic fundamentals, represented by the variables world GDP, world inflation, real exchange rates and world exports and imports of goods and services, affect Indonesia's balance of payments. The data used is time series data from 2016 to 2022. The method used in this research is the Error Correction Model (ECM) method using unit root and cointegration tests.

Abstract

Education can develop optimally if all parties around education are able to work together to provide the best contribution according to their abilities. One of them is the participation of parents and the community. This research aims to identify and then describe the role of public relations from educational institutions in involving parents and the community in early childhood education institutions. This research uses qualitative methods with literacy studies or literature studies. Research results: educational institutions must carry out good public relations management so that goals can be realized. Education management carried out by institutions includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating how to involve parents and the community, including: how parents meet children's learning needs, how institutions can utilize the community as a school resource, how to build relationships, communication and mutual trust. parents and society.

Abstract

This article discusses the Character of Educators in the Perspective of Islamic Education. Basically, Islamic education is a process that takes place continuously and flows in human life and then lasts throughout life. Educators are people who play a very important role in educating the nation's children. When we talk about educators, what comes to our minds are adults who guide us and give us things we don't know to know. To become a professional educator, you must fulfill the requirements as an educator in carrying out your duties as an educator. Abstract

In improving children's character, it is not only focused on government but also the needs of society. Society is one of the most important parts in the process of forming children's character, especially in the school environment. In this way, the researcher analyzes community participation in improving the mutual cooperation character of class I students. The formulation of the problem in this research is "How is the mutual cooperation character of students at SD Negeri 01 Kandis formed through community participation?" This research aims to find out how the mutual cooperation character of students at SD Negeri 01 Kandis is formed through community participation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that students are able to work together on their own initiative, although there are still some students who do not want to work together.

Abstract

The Impact of Zoning System on the Admission of New Junior High School Students on the Learning Interest of Grade 6 Students. Amidst the dynamics of education in Indonesia, the zoning system has become a prominent topic of conversation policy innovations, especially in the context of new student admissions at Junior High Schools (SMP). This policy aims to promote educational equity and reduce social disparities. The zoning system prioritizes students who live near the schools, with the goal of creating a fairer distribution of education and reducing transportation costs for students. In the context of the zoning system for new student admissions to SMP, there are significant impacts that can be felt by 6th-grade elementary school students (SD). The first impact is the change in aspirations for the school of choice. Before the implementation of the zoning system, many 6th-grade students had dream schools they had long aspired to attend. However, with the zoning system in place, those school choices may no longer be accessible due to the geographical location factor of their residence.

Abstract

This article discusses the branding of Islamic, boarding school, and integrated schools/madrasahs as high-quality educational institutions. The research problem is the need to differentiate and compare the three types of high-quality schools/madrasahs and their integration of general and religious education. The research aims to explore the characteristics and educational approaches of Islamic, boarding school, and integrated schools/madrasahs, as well as their role in shaping students' character, independence, and holistic learning. The methodology used is a library research approach, where relevant literature is reviewed and analyzed. The findings show that Islamic schools/madrasahs focus on character formation and spiritual development, boarding schools promote independence and holistic character development, and integrated schools create a holistic learning experience. The implications of this research are the importance of integrating general and religious education, character development, and independence in high-quality Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Quality is the main need of every person, every institution and even every country, so the slogan Quality is everybody's business emerged, where efforts to obtain and improve quality are everyone's main agenda. Quality is a challenge for business and educational institutions because they are faced with the problem of how to manage quality in the face of global competition. A school that is "quality" oriented is required to always move dynamically, full of innovation efforts, and condition itself as a learning institution or organization that always pays attention to the demands of society's continuously developing needs. For this reason, schools are required to always try to perfect the design or standards of educational processes and outcomes so that they can produce "graduates" who meet the demands of society.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a pattern of basic assumptions regarding the beliefs, values ​​and behavior created. This article aims to understand the organizational culture at UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method. The research results show that the school organizational culture at UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil is about the discipline of the principal, teachers and administrative employees; student discipline; (2). hard work culture, namely the hard work of teachers and students; (3) competitive culture, namely competition between teachers and competition among students; c). The influence of the school organizational culture developed at UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil on school achievement, among others (1). the influence of school organizational culture on the achievement of UPTD SPF students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil; (2). the achievements of UPTD SPF alumni of SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil at the secondary education level, namely about parents' impressions of UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil, Alumnus of UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 1 Gunung Meriah Aceh Singkil at the secondary education level; d). discussion, including: (1). organizational culture developed by the school principal, (2). culture of hard work carried out by teachers, (3). student competitive culture.

Abstract

Education is an investment process that forms human resources who have the skills and skills to meet future demands. Achieving the goals of Education, it is necessary to have education with a quality education system. Education can be categorized as quality if it meets and can exceed the 8 educational standards listed in PP no. 19 of 2005. The quality of education has a positive impact as a form of competitive advantage that can be used as an aspect of competitiveness with other educational institutions. This article aims to describe specifically about the quality of Education and competitive advantage as competitiveness with other Educational Institutions. This article uses library research methods in its writing, by collecting data sourced from published scientific references. The results of this article found that the quality of education is illustrated if it meets 8 national education standards and can provide satisfaction to the needs of education stakeholders. The quality of education is also one of the materials of competitive advantage as the competitiveness of educational institutions. Generating competitive advantage requires strategy and analysis of strengths, opportunities of Educational Institutions such as through SWOT analysis.

Abstract

Success in managing extracurricular tahfidz Al-Qur'an is very dependent on the competence and skills of teachers in terms of understanding, teaching and effective approach methods. There is a problem with the teacher's ability to manage extracurricular tahfidz at Mts Al Ittihadiyah. This can be seen from the phenomena that occur, namely: 1) extracurricular tahfidz which was on hiatus in 2020-2022, 2) lack of students' ability and interest in reading the Al-Qur'an and 3) Limited time that can be allocated for extracurricular activities, accompanied by with the demands of a formal curriculum, it often makes it difficult for teachers to provide intensive attention and assistance in learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an. This research aims to obtain information and a clear picture of teachers' abilities in managing extracurricular Tahfidz at Mts Al Ittihadiyah Bromo, Medan Area District, Medan City. This research uses a qualitative approach with the phenomenological method. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis related to tahfidz extracurricular management. The main respondents were teachers who were involved in these activities. The conclusion of this research is that apart from the teacher's ability to motivate people about the Koran, the environment and parental attention are very important in the success of the tahfidz program at the school.
