Abstract

Students have an important role in preserving the Javanese language as a symbol and identity for Javanese people by using it as a language of communication in everyday life and on campus. The aim of this research is to analyze the existence of the use of Javanese in interpersonal communication among students using symbolic theory. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection used interviews with students in Semarang City and experts in Javanese Language and Culture. The results of the research show that the use of Javanese in interpersonal communication among students in Semarang City has a low existence because it is no longer the main language and for formal interpersonal communication in the campus environment, the national language, namely Indonesian, is more commonly used. Therefore, students must study Javanese, continue to use Javanese well and correctly intensively as a language of daily instruction and to communicate with other people formally and informally.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ability to think creatively through the application of a tower crane. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in STEM Village, Joho, Yogyakarta. The subjects in this study consisted of 4 children. Data collection through observation techniques, interviews and questionnaires. Based on research on children's creative thinking abilities in STEM village, Joho, Yogyakarta. It was found that the tower crane application activity was able to determine children's creative thinking. The research results show the ability to think creatively based on learning styles during the Tower Crane application project. Two children with an auditory learning style were able to meet the indicators for fluent thinking (Fluency) and flexible thinking (Flexibility). Two children with a visual learning style were able to meet the indicators of creative thinking, namely Fluency and Originality.

Abstract

This development research is motivated by a problem where teaching materials or practicum modules for all learning materials are not yet available. For this reason, it is necessary to integrate practicum modules with problem-based learning models in one of the learning materials, namely, material for electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. The aims of this study were (1) to find out the validity of the problem-based learning chemistry practicum module on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material, (2) to find out students' responses to problem-based learning chemistry practicum modules on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material. The research design used is the ADDIE model which is limited to 3 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development. The results of this study are (1) the validity of the practicum module obtained from the assessment of 2 validators, namely material experts in the very feasible category and the media expert validator in the very feasible category, (2) The results of students' responses to the problem-based learning chemistry practicum module belong to the category both with a percentage of 77.47%.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize lego games to develop the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. Lego games are good for children to construct various forms of creativity that stimulate aspects of cognitive, motor and artistic development which are also part of children's ability to develop creativity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research based on consideration of research samples using sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling or based on the objectives of the research study with the stages of planning (plan), data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the development of children's creativity abilities after utilizing lego games developed on three indicators measured, namely the ability in cognitive aspects (creative thinking), affective (creative personality), and psychomotor (creative flexibility) where the results obtained based on the assessment using observation sheets from a total of 13 children aged 5-6 years, 10 of whom their creativity abilities were in the BSB category (developing very well), while 3 children in creativity abilities were still in the BSH category (developing as expected). The results of this study can be concluded that through the utilization of lego games children's creativity abilities develop very well.

Abstract

Phonology is a field of linguistics that provides a focus on the language system, especially language sounds or the science of how a sound occurs. Language sounds are produced by the human speech apparatus due to vibrations which are then exhaled through the nasal cavity or mouth. Wiyayanto (2023:5-6) states that phonology is a branch of linguistics that studies the sound system of human language which involves several important elements, namely sounds or fonts. The sound of these words has its own characteristics, one of which is the Kedang language spoken by the people of Mahal II Village. The Kedang language is spoken by people who live in two sub-districts in Lembata Regency, namely Omesuri sub-district and Buyasuri sub-district. This research aims to provide a descriptive picture of the phonetic and phonemic aspects of the Edang language used or spoken by the Mahal II Village Community. It is hoped that this study can provide benefits and contribute data related to the branch of phonology. Apart from that, it can provide an idea for the community and other institutions to pay more attention to the study of language sounds, especially regional languages. This research method is qualitative descriptive research. This research aims to describe the phonetic and phonemic forms found in the Edang language spoken by the Mahal II Village Community. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The Kedang language has a phonetic aspect consisting of vowels and consonants. There are 17 variants of vowel sounds in the Kedang language used by the Mahal II Village Community, namely /a/, /e/, /i/, /u/, /o/, /:uˀ/, /:a/, /:e/, /:i/, /:u/, /:o/, /:iˀ/, /aˀ/, /eˀ/, /iˀ/, /uˀ/, and /oˀ/. Meanwhile, there are 11 variants of consonant sounds, namely /b/, /p/, /m/, /w/, /d/, /t/, /l/, /n/, /r/, and /s/ . Meanwhile, the phonemics of the Kedang language used by the people of Mahal II Village are vowels and consonants. Vowel Phonemic Sounds consist of /a/ and /:a/, /i/ and /u/, /eˀ/ and /u/, and aˀ and [oˀ]. Meanwhile, consonant sounds consist of /p/ and /t/, /l/ and /p/, /m/ and /w/, and /d/ and /t/.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2023 lalu, tim riset IIQ (Institut Ilmu Qur’an) telah melakukan survei terkait tingkat penguasaan masyarakat Islam di Indonesia dalam hal membaca alqur’an. Dalam survei tersebut ditemukan hasil rendahnya tingkat penguasaan masyarakat Islam di Indonesia dalam hal membaca alqur’an. Faktor penyebabnya adalah pengajaran alqur’an yang terkesan monoton dan menjenuhkan sehingga menurunkan minat dan motivasi untuk belajar alqur’an. Berdasarkan hal itu, peneliti bermaksud melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk menggali dan mengetahui pengajaran alqur’an melalui pendekatan seni yang mudah dan menyenangkan sebagai usaha untuk membangun minat dan motivasi belajar baca alqur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan kepustakaan dengan membaca dan memahami buku-buku, jurnal, website, skripsi dan berbagai literatur lain terkait permasalahan penelitian dalam rangka memperoleh data menggunakan analisis isi secara mendalam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan pengajaran alqur’an melalui pendekatan seni dalam metode tilawati dapat membangun minat dan motivasi belajar alqur’an, karena metode tilawati menawarkan konsep belajar alqur’an secara praktis, cepat, mudah dan menyenangkan sehingga berdampak positif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan cara baca alqur’an.

Abstract

Civic education (Civics) learning is one of the important means in introducing democratic values to the younger generation. This article explains the introduction of how the implementation of democratic values is carried out through Civics learning. Further research is expected to provide deeper insights into the effectiveness of Civics learning in shaping the understanding and practice of democracy among students. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing more deeply related to the implementation of democratic values in Civics learning and To find out the form of democratic values in Civics learning Research Method is to use research on research that is descriptive and tends to use process analysis and meaning is more highlighted in qualitative research. The results showed (1) The application of democratic values is carried out by incorporating democratic values in which include tolerance, cooperation, freedom of opinion, mutual respect and confidence. (2) The supporting factors are curriculum, active learning methods, development of thinking skills, teachers. (3) The inhibiting factors are a less supportive curriculum, imbalance of power in the classroom, lack of awareness and understanding. (4) The solution is to instill character in students or students who are democratic, active learning process by involving students directly, developing relevant learning materials.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of accounting information systems, e-commerce, tax incentives and government stimulus assistance on the performance of MSMEs. The research method uses primary data and the data collection method uses questionnaire techniques. The population in this research is all Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the City of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used probability sampling which was obtained through distributing questionnaires so that 100 respondents were obtained. The results show that the accounting information system and government stimulus assistance have a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs; while e-commerce and tax incentives have a negative effect on MSME performance. This research can be reference for MSME players to improve MSME performance by paying attention to use of accounting information systems, e-commerce, tax incentives and government stimulus assistance used in operations as well as paying attention to the quality of human resources in their management.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the efforts of the Cengkong village government to overcome the problem of teenagers dropping out of school in Cengkong village. The purpose of conducting this research is to find out what efforts are used by the government in Cengkong village to overcome the problem of teenagers dropping out of school in areas that are under the supervision and responsibility of Cengkong village. As well as describing scientifically and systematically the problem of teenagers dropping out of school. The research used is qualitative research. Namely where this research describes the handling of the problem of teenagers dropping out of school carried out by the Cengkong village. The instruments in this research were observation and interviews. All data obtained and presented in this research are in narrative form. The results of the research that has been carried out show that children in Cengkong village are given easy access to education. There is literacy outreach through the digital library. And if you have already dropped out of school, Cengkong Village provides school facilities to catch up with packages held in the village hall. In this way, the Cengkong village government will not only cope but will also become a solution for those who want to continue their education even though they have already dropped out of school.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the values of character education in the animated film Nussa and their relevance to Islamic Religious Education at SDN I Sukoharjo Bandung. A qualitative approach was used by collecting data through content analysis and observation of the film Nussa. The research results show that the Nussa film contains several positive character education values, such as obedience to Allah, polite speech, honesty, justice, kindness, and concern for the environment. These values are relevant to Islamic teachings and can be a source of inspiration for children in developing themselves. Apart from that, the film Nussa also depicts local religious and cultural practices, such as midday prayers, covering the intimate parts, and shaking hands with teachers, which reflect Islamic values and culture at SDN I Sukoharjo Bandung. Thus, the animated film Nussa can be an effective tool in teaching character values to children at the school. It is hoped that teachers can use this film as a learning resource that is interesting and relevant to the values they teach at school.
