Abstract

Financial statements are essential documents prepared based on certain criteria that provide information about a company's financial performance, changes in equity, cash flows, and assets. These reports serve as tools to communicate the company's status to external stakeholders. High-quality financial statements are crucial as they offer relevant, reliable, comparable, and easily understandable information for internal and external decision-makers. However, delays in submitting financial statements can undermine the reliability and transparency of the information provided to investors and other stakeholders. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Although regulations have been enacted to ensure timely financial reporting, many companies still fail to fulfill this obligation. Companies that do not submit audited financial statements may face sanctions from the BEI in the form of fines. Therefore, companies need to ensure timely submission of financial statements to maintain trust and confidence among stakeholders.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the zoning system policy in Admission of New Students (PPDB) at SMA Negeri 4 Musi Banyuasin. The zoning system, which is regulated by Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 17 of 2017, aims to ensure equal access to education by prioritizing student admission based on distance from school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to describe the phenomenon of implementing the zoning system at SMA Negeri 4 Musi Banyuasin, and evaluate its impact on access to education, quality of learning, and community perception. The research results show that the implementation of the zoning system has had a positive impact in increasing access to education for students who live around the school. This system makes it easier for parents to control their children and encourages students with intermediate academic abilities to improve their performance. However, the zoning system also raises several challenges. High achieving but out-of-zone students are often unable to access their favorite schools, and some students feel pressured by the higher academic demands at top schools. This study also found that the implementation of this policy was not fully understood by the public, resulting in confusion and dissatisfaction. Therefore, more effective communication and more equitable provision of resources is needed to ensure the success of zoning policies. By improving these aspects, the zoning system can be more optimal in achieving the goal of equal distribution and improving the quality of education throughout the region.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia continues to evolve to meet the needs of the times, especially in the digital era and globalization. Pondok pesantren, as the oldest Islamic educational institution, faces the challenge of blending tradition with modernity in its curriculum. This research aims to explore the integration of the Kurikulum Merdeka and the Pesantren Curriculum in Madrasah Aliyah within pondok pesantren, focusing on enhancing digital literacy, developing the character of the Pancasila Student Profile, and addressing the shortcomings of the old curriculum. This study employs theoretical and literature analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of this curriculum integration. Teachers are given the freedom to choose teaching methods that suit the needs of students, such as the P5 project, which emphasizes critical, creative, and multilateral character skills. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the Kurikulum Merdeka and the Pesantren Curriculum creates a more adaptive educational context oriented towards Pancasila values. This integration not only enhances students' digital literacy and character but also provides space for teachers to develop innovative teaching methods. This curriculum integration is capable of addressing old shortcomings and improving teaching effectiveness, thereby meeting students' needs more holistically. Thus, this integration is expected to continue to be developed and implemented more widely to create a generation that is competent and characterized according to the Pancasila Student Profile.
