Abstract

Education is changing in line with the times. One of the breakthroughs of the Ministry of Education to prepare students to become prospective teachers is through the Teaching Campus Programme. This programme provides an opportunity for students to participate in improving the quality of education in Indonesia by interacting directly with students. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the teaching campus programme in readiness to become prospective teachers for Bhinneka PGRI University students. The research used qualitative research methods. With informants 10 representatives from Bhinneka PGRI University students who participated in the 6th batch of teaching campus programme, as well as Vice Chancellor 1 of Bhinneka PGRI University and PIC of the 6th batch of teaching campus programme. Techniques in data collection using interview techniques and documentation. data analysis techniques using 3 stages, namely the description stage, the reduction stage, and the selection stage. The results of the study indicate the effectiveness of the programme according to indicators, where prospective teacher students already have an understanding of the teaching campus programme, the accuracy of targets, time, and the achievement of the objectives of the teaching campus programme which is attended by Bhinneka PGRI University students from non-education students and education study program students who will become prospective teachers, and there are significant changes felt by students.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a field of study that connects mathematics with the culture of a specific community. In the context of Tana Toraja, the Tongkonan traditional house is a rich cultural representation imbued with mathematical values. This article summarizes research findings on the use of ethnomathematics in the architecture and symbols found in the Tongkonan traditional houses of Tana Toraja. The Tongkonan, the traditional house of the Toraja tribe in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi, holds not only cultural and spiritual values but also significant archaeological importance. This research aims to identify the types of wood used in the archaeological components of Tongkonan at the Buntu Pune site, as well as to understand the techniques of selecting and using wood in this traditional construction. This study provides insights into how the Toraja people sustainably utilize natural resources and support the conservation of their cultural heritage.

Abstract

Critical reading is a type of reading that is done wisely, tolerantly, deeply, evaluatively, and analytically, and not just looking for mistakes. Students have used critical reading in reading a passage but only a few indicators are used, namely interpreting the explicit meaning, assessing the content of the reading and citing the content of the reading only. Students also use reading aloud and reading silently. Reading learning is still not optimal because during the learning process the class situation is not conducive and there are some students who often lose focus in learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using tests, observation and documentation. The results of this study found that the total score of critical reading skills was 311 and the overall percentage of critical reading skills was 67.58% in the good category. This is obtained from aspect 1, namely interpreting the explicit meaning, getting a total score of 69 and a percentage of 75% of 23 students who fall into the good category. Aspect 2, namely applying concepts in reading, received a total score of 50 with a percentage of 54.3% of 23 students in the moderate category. Aspect 3, analyzing the content of the reading, received a total score of 60 with a percentage of 65.2% of 23 students in the good category. Aspect 4, analyzing the content of the reading, received a total score of 59 with a percentage of 64.1% of 23 students in the sufficient category. Aspect 5 assessing the content of the reading received a total score of 73 with a percentage of 79.3% of 23 students in the good category.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the increase in student learning activities using the cooperative learning type group investigation model in class IV mathematics at SDN 62 Palisi, Tellumponcoe Village, Marusu District, Maros Regency. The type of research applied is classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) where the procedure uses several cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Data collection methods in this research are observation, written tests, and documentation. The research data was reviewed using qualitative data analysis. The research results illustrate an increase in student learning activities, as evidenced by the average achievement of students in the first cycle of 60.75 with a KKM achievement of (30%). After implementing the cooperative learning type Group Investigation model in cycle I, the average student learning outcomes changed to 63.5 with KKM achievement, namely 9 students (45%) still not reaching the success criteria, namely ≥ 85%. So improvements were made from cycle I to cycle II with the application of the same type of model, the average student learning assessment score increased to 73.5 with the number of KKM achievements being 18 students (90%). The results of the research carried out concluded that learning activities in mathematics subjects had increased using cooperative learning type group investigation in terms of students' mathematics learning achievements.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process in the classroom which still listens to the teacher's explanation and pictures as teaching and learning tools. This makes students easily feel bored so that students' interest in learning decreases. This study aims to develop, test the validity and applicability of STEAM-based activity book media development products in IPAS learning material on how we live and grow in grade V SDN 1 Demuk Pucanglaban Tulungagung. This research is a method using the ADDIE model which consists of the analysis (Analyze), design (Design), development (Development), implementation (Implementation), and evaluation (Evaluation) stages. Data collection techniques were carried out using media validity tests, materials, and questionnaires. The instruments that researchers use are media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, and student questionnaire sheets. The results obtained in this study are media validation by media validators obtained a percentage of 90% with a very valid category, while the assessment of the material validator obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a very valid category, and the assessment of student responses obtained a percentage of 92% with a very valid category. Those it can be concluded that the research results of "Development of STEAM-Based Activity Book on IPAS Learning Material How We Live and Grow are very valid to be used as learning media in Class V SDN 1 Demuk Pucanglaban Tulungagung". The results of this study can be applied at SDN 1 Demuk Pucanglaban Tulungagung Class V and with this activity book media can increase the enthusiasm and curiosity of students in the learning process.

Abstract

The use of Indonesian as the national language has a significant role in improving communication between regions in Indonesia. This article discusses how Indonesian facilitates ease of communication, strengthens unity, and provides fair access to education for youth in university environments. The method used in this research is a literature observation methodology to examine the impact of using Indonesian on improving communication among teenagers from various regions within UBP University. However, the challenge is that there is still a lack of good and correct Indonesian language management. Case studies show that increasingly intensive Indonesian language learning programs can improve the quality of communication and reduce misunderstandings. In conclusion, the use of Indonesian is an important tool in strengthening communication and unity between youth between regions, although improvements and improvements are needed

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIIA Sekolah Dasar Negeri Teluk Tiram 6 yang berjumlah 18 orang. Data yang diambil data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian yaitu keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai kriteria sangat aktif ≥80% dari seluruh siswa di kelas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada siklus I hingga siklus III dengan perolehan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I dengan presentase sebesar 50% “Sebagian Siswa Sangat Aktif”, meningkat pada siklus II “Sebagian Besar Siswa Sangat Aktif” dengan presentase 67% dan meningkat menjadi “Hampir seluruhnya aktif” pada siklus III dengan presentase 83%. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi peneliti, guru, dan sekolah untuk menggunakan model Problem Based Learning sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Model Problem Based Learning juga dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan masukan bagi guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran untuk menunjang semangat serta kemampuan memahami materi yang diajarkan.

Abstract

The implementation of human values in extracurricular scouting activities at SMKN 9 Tangerang City can be seen from the habituation of scout members in scouting activities, as well as their activity programmes. In the implementation of human values, the scouts are provided with materials and activities that contain human values in scouting. They are given an understanding and required to behave politely in accordance with the applicable rules to apply the 5S attitude and are given an intake of educational scout activity programmes as well as having extraordinary experiences in terms of humanity. Supporting factors for the implementation of human values can be seen from the support and role of trainers, coaches, and teachers at SMKN 9 Tangerang City. Scout coaches and trainers always accompany students in every scouting activity and also provide information about scouting. In addition, the school also provides the budget and facilities needed by the scouts to support the implementation of human values.

Abstract

The Research intends to determine the influence of Syari’ah Economics Learning toward any interest yet of students in saving at Bank Syari’ah. This is implemented at the University of Lampung's Development Economics study program. Methods that used is a quantitative method. The analysis used by the author in This study is a simple regression analysis. Data sources of this study using primary data and secondary data. And the sampling technique in this study uses random sampling. These results show that learning Syari’ah Economics on student savings account at bank syari’ah, especially for students at the University of Lampung's Development Economics study program, it is giving a positive influence. The effect of syari’ah economics learning on students' means that greater the understanding of Bank Syari’ah in Syari’ah Economics learning, so the bigger it will be saving account’s students at Bank Syari’ah.
