Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of digital marketing in increasing visitor interest in tourism in Metro City. The background of this research is driven by the importance of using digital platforms in the tourism industry to promote tourist destinations. The research method used is a library research approach, analyzing various literature sources related to digital marketing and tourism. The findings indicate that social media and digital applications play a significant role in attracting visitors' interest and enhancing the visibility of tourist destinations. However, tourism managers in Metro City face the challenge of limited human resources with expertise in digital marketing. The implications of this study highlight the importance of improving human resource capacity and fostering collaboration between tourism managers and various stakeholders to optimize digital marketing efforts. Thus, well-structured digital marketing can increase the appeal of tourism and expand audience reach.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in teaching ethics in the era of modernization, as well as to explore the strategies they use to overcome these challenges. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving 8 PAI teachers from 4 different secondary schools in Bangun Rejo District. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that the main challenges faced by PAI teachers include internal factors such as motivation and limited knowledge about Islamic ethics, and external challenges such as the influence of global culture, parental involvement, and school support. To overcome these challenges, teachers apply various strategies, including improving professionalism through training, utilizing technology in teaching, and collaborating with the school, parents, and the community. The study concludes that a combination of enhancing teachers' skills and environmental support is crucial to ensuring the success of teaching Islamic ethics in the modern era.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how connectivism theory is implemented in digital learning. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach (library study). Data were obtained from relevant information repositories, including scientific texts, periodicals, and academic journals that investigate the subject of inquiry. The data analysis process involves the systematic organization of information, deconstructing it into discrete components, integrating it into a cohesive framework, identifying salient elements for further examination, and deriving conclusions that are understandable to the scientific community. The results obtained show that the implementation of connectivism offers diversity of learning through various networks, helping new generations collaborate to find solutions to the increasing number of questions. Although the theory presented by George Siemens and Stephen Downes is important and valid, this theory is a tool used in the learning process for instruction or curriculum, not a stand-alone learning theory, but connectivism requires a combination of learning theory and digital technology as a learning medium. The theory also forces educators to look at what is being done in digital education, rethink what is happening, and philosophize about how each piece fits together. Continuously evaluating how each new generation learns about instruction and curriculum serves to keep education at a high standard. An educational system that is adaptive and responsive to these changes is essential to ensure that teaching methods remain relevant and effective in facing modern-day challenges. Thus, the role of technology in education is not only as a tool, but also as the main driver that drives innovation and transformation in the way we educate future generations.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the differences in academic stress levels among students based on their learning styles at SMPN 1 Candi. The subjects of this research are 8th-grade students from the advanced class. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through a questionnaire that had undergone validity and normality testing. Before to the F-test, the data was analysed using the homogeneity test to ensure similarity of variance between groups. The F-test was then used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed a significant difference in academic stress levels between students with different learning styles. The findings provide important insights for educators in adapting learning methods to reduce students' academic stress, especially in advanced classes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital science module centered on the theme of Waves and Sound, integrating aspects of Acehnese local wisdom. The module is designed to enhance students' critical thinking skills within the Society 5.0 framework. To support this goal, the module incorporates elements of Acehnese culture, such as traditional musical instruments and folklore linked to natural phenomena, making it easier for students to grasp the core concepts of waves and sound. The study employed a quasi-experimental design along with research and development (R&D) methodology. Pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to measure the improvement in critical thinking skills between the experimental and control groups. Findings indicated that the local wisdom-based digital module effectively reinforced students' understanding of waves and sound and significantly developed their critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran penting dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar di Indonesia. Mata pelajaran ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan fisik, pengetahuan tentang kesehatan, serta pengembangan sikap positif terhadap aktivitas fisik dan pola hidup sehat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau konsep dasar, tujuan, dan implementasi kurikulum PJOK di sekolah dasar, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka dan data empiris, artikel ini menyajikan gambaran mengenai bagaimana kurikulum PJOK diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem pendidikan dasar dan peran pentingnya dalam pengembangan fisik dan mental siswa.

Abstract

This study compares Western Islam and Eastern Islam within the context of universal and local civilizations. Western Islam, which developed in Europe and America, tends to adapt to modern values and cultural pluralism, while Eastern Islam focuses more on preserving traditions and spiritual values. The aim of this research is to explore the differences and similarities between these two forms of Islamic civilization and their contributions to global civilization. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review design, this study analyzes texts from books, journals, and writings by Islamic scholars from both sides. The findings show that although there are differences in their approaches to modernity, both forms of Islam share common foundational values that can enrich Islamic civilization as a whole. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration between Western and Eastern Islam to address globalization challenges and create an inclusive and sustainable civilization.

Abstract

Medical terminology, previously reserved for professionals, has become increasingly prevalent in everyday discourse, particulary following the COVID-19 pandemic. The emergence of these terms is not spontaneous; rather, they are meticulously crafted by experts within their respective fields. This research examines the formation of Indonesian medical terms, with a specific focus on affixation. The purpose of this research is to find out the affixation process used in Indonesian medical terms. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the data source of medical terms found on the Halodoc platform. The choice of Halodoc is aligned with the rising popularity of health applications during the pandemic. The result shows that from 1492 medical terms data, 202 words (13.5%) are formed through affixation process. There are foreign language affixation processes (prefixes and suffixes) and Indonesian language affixation processes (prefixes, suffixes, confixes). Foreign language affixation shapes the term to be more complex, while the use of Indonesian affixation only changes the word class. The results of this study are also expected to represent the characteristics of the Indonesian language in forming words, especially medical terms.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the development of Islamic territory during the reign of Caliph Umar bin Khattab from 13 A.H. to 23 A.H. Caliph Umar bin Khattab was the second caliph after Abu Bakr. With a reign of approximately ten years, Caliph Umar bin Khattab had many achievements. The achievements include many fields, such as in the field of structuring state administration, the field of economy, security and public order, and the most important is in terms of expanding the territory of Islam to the outside of the Arabian Peninsula. This article is based on literature research using qualitative methods directed at content analysis. The results found are that the reign of Caliph Umar bin Khattab had a great influence on the development of Islam, both in the Arabian Peninsula and other regions such as Damascus, Ajnadin, Palestine, Egypt, Iraq, Persia, Syiri, and Nahawand. Through the policies implemented by Caliph Umar bin Khattab by dividing the territory into 8 provinces that oversee several districts and sub-districts. The eight provinces were Mecca, Medina, Syria, Jazirah, Kufa, Basra, Egypt and Palestine. For each of these districts, special officials were appointed as governors. Due to the expansion of the territory, the caliph Umar bin Khattab made several government administrative policies with several ministries that were needed according to the development of the country at that time. These important ministries include the Council al- Kharaj (tax ministry), Council al-Hadts (police ministry), He has also pioneered the ministry of public works (Nazarat al-Nafiah).

Abstract

This research is entitled "The effectiveness of the 5e learning cycle learning model in physics learning for class VII students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. 2024/2025 academic year." The aim of this research is to determine the completeness of the physics learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau for the 2024/2025 academic year after implementing the Learning cycle 5e learning model. The method used is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 157 students and the research sample was class VII 7 3 students, totaling 26 students, consisting of 13 male students and 13 female students who were taken. at random. Data collection techniques use test techniques. Student test score data was analyzed using the t test. Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “efektifitas model pembelajaran learning cycle 5e pada pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025”.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Learning cycle 5e. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 157 siswa dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII 7 3 yang berjumlah 26 siswa, yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan yang diambil secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Data skor tes siswa dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t.
