Abstract

Indonesia is a pluralistic country consisting various tribes, groups, religions, races and cultures whose been being able to live in harmony and have a very high negotiation space in every life however its situation and conditions. Beside that, Indonesian has a religious, polite and friendly local character. Meanwhile, religious moderation is an important issue in the world right now, including in Indonesia. The influence of globalization, religious pluralism, and technological advances have brought big changes to the dynamics of religious life. Perennialism as an educational philosophy was born on the 20th century, appearing as a reaction to progressivism education. Perennialism opposes progressivism opponion which emphasizes change and something new. According to Perennialism, the current world situation is full of chaos, uncertainty and irregularity, especially in moral, intellectual, spiritual and socio cultural life. It need an effort to save human culture from the brink of destruction. The concept of religious moderation can be understood from the perspective of perennial philosophy. Perennial philosophy emphasizes the existence of Holy entity or Oneness in every aspects in this life. According to the perennialisme thought, absolute truth is only one and it can’t be divided, but can be found in various truth. It can be found on history dialectical process. In this contexts of religious moderation, the idea of ​​perennial philosophy is used to understand religious plurality. Although understanding religion often cause one of factors of conflicts, understanding religious moderation teaches us how to pay attention in socio religious conditions outside of it’s own group and respecting different truths and beliefs

Abstract

Learning is an assistance provided by educators so that the process of acquiring knowledge and science, mastery of skills and habits, and the formation of attitudes and beliefs in students can occur. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the talking stick learning model on science learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Hilihuho. This study is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design. The population in the study were all students in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Hilihuho totaling 62 people and the research sample was class VIII-B totaling 31 people selected using random sampling techniques. The instrument used in the study was in the form of a learning outcome test, where the test was divided into two types, namely a pre-test before giving treatment and a post-test after giving treatment in the form of implementing the talking stick learning model. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS, it is known that the significance level value obtained is 0.00 or in other words that the significance level is <0.05. So specifically it can be concluded that there is an influence of the talking stick learning model on the learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 1 Hilihuho.

Abstract

Learning strategy is a learning process planning activity that must be carried out by teachers and students so that learning objectives can be achieved efficiently and effectively. The research objectives are: (1) Describe the learning strategies used by class VIII science teachers at UPTD SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli, (2) Describe the learning activities of class VIII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research location is at UPTD SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli. The research population is class VIII students in the 2024/2025 academic year. Research results: (1) The learning strategies used by class VIII science subject teachers at SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli are expository learning strategies, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategies, problem-based learning strategies, and cooperative learning strategies. However, what is more dominantly used by science subject teachers is cooperative learning strategies, because the use of cooperative learning strategies is able to actively involve all students in the learning process activities. (2) Students' learning activities during the implementation of learning activities in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli can be demonstrated by students paying attention to the teacher while teaching, students being able to understand the learning material presented by the teacher, students working seriously on the practice questions given by the teacher , students are able to ask questions, students are able to answer questions, students are able to express opinions, students are able to take notes on learning material, and students can make summaries of the material that has been taught. According to the research results, it can be concluded that the strategies used by class VIII science subject teachers at SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli are expository learning strategies, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning strategies, problem-based learning strategies, and cooperative learning strategies

Abstract

The existence of this local history is due to the deep-rooted culture of the community and the many significant local events that became milestones in the development of the area itself. Pekan Heran Village as a small part of Indragiri Hulu holds historical traces and complex leadership dynamics throughout its existence, covering the colonial period, independence to the decentralization era, this then presents a unique perspective related to historical traces and the evolution of local leadership. In compiling this research, the researcher used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The researcher also used a historical approach as a process of critically testing and analyzing past phenomena as research objects which were then presented according to the facts. Pekan Heran Village is a village located in Rengat Barat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau, and is one of the oldest and largest villages on the banks of the Indragiri River. The collapse of the Srivijaya Kingdom has essentially become the cause of the release of small kingdoms under its rule, one of which is the Keritang Kingdom. Because the chaos that occurred in the Keritang Kingdom had been heard by King Narasinga in Malacca, the intention of Datuk Patih to pick up King Narasinga grew stronger, this intention was realized in an event, namely "Rakit Kulim". Initially, the name Pekan Heran came from two syllables. Namely, Pangkalan and Heran. The name Pangkalan Heran lasted quite a long time until the leadership of Peghulu Taher, the first Penghulu who then opened a market in Pendupuan. The overflowing market that did not match the number of people domiciled in Pendupuan gave birth to the name Pekan Heran later. In the dynamics of leadership, Pekan Heran Village is led by a Wali Negeri, if the Wali Negeri is unable to carry out his duties, a deputy is appointed as the village leader to replace the Wali Negeri.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the attitude of students who are very actively involved and motivated in learning activities. Therefore, the objectives of carrying out this research are: (1) To find out teacher strategies in increasing students' learning motivation in class VIII science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. (2) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the learning motivation of students in class VIII science subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research location is at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. The research population is class VIII students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Research instruments, namely: observation sheets, questionnaires and interviews. Research results: (1) Teacher strategies in increasing students' learning motivation are: making students actively involved in learning, choosing appropriate learning methods, creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, giving challenging assignments to students, giving awards, and appreciating success learners. (2) Supporting factors in increasing students' learning motivation are the enthusiasm for learning and curiosity of students in learning, the completeness of learning facilities and infrastructure, the attitude of teachers who have a work ethic as professional teachers. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in increasing students' learning motivation are when students lack focus in participating in learning activities, lack of facilities and infrastructure to support learning, and monotonous teaching strategies that are unpleasant. According to the research results, it can be concluded that if a teacher has developed a good and interesting teaching strategy, it will definitely be able to increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study highlights the challenges faced by the elderly in the digital era, particularly regarding feelings of marginalization and difficulties in accessing technology. Community-based education that integrates positive psychology approaches can be an effective solution to improve the mental well-being and digital skills of the elderly. A qualitative case study method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory observations to explore the experiences and perspectives of the elderly participating in this educational program. The findings show improvements in digital skills, self-confidence, emotional well-being, and social connections among the elderly. Participants felt more connected and supported, which positively impacted their mental health. The study recommends active participation of the elderly in program design and the integration of positive psychology elements to ensure the sustainability of such programs in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of family education in supporting the mental health of children and adolescents through phenomenological methods. The subjects of the study were children, adolescents, and parents who had experiences related to family education and mental health. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with participants and analyzed using thematic analysis to find key themes such as emotional support, resilience, and communication patterns in the family. The results showed that emotional support from parents and open communication patterns have a positive impact on the mental health of children and adolescents, strengthening mental resilience, and improving their ability to manage emotions. Conversely, families with closed communication or lack of emotional support tend to increase the risk of mental disorders. The implications of this study suggest the importance of policies and intervention programs that support family education to increase parental awareness in creating a healthy environment for children's mental development.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan satu variabel penting penentu kesehatan manusia. Pentingnya kesehatan mental telah mendorong banyaknya penelitian untuk mengetahui determinan kesehatan mental. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama merupakan modalitas yang cukup baik untuk mempromosikan kesehatan mental di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah dalam bentuk psikoterapi Islam. Penelitian mengenai psikoterapi Islam di Indonesia telah banyak dilakukan, namun menunjukkan inkonsistensi hasil. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode literature review (studi pustaka). Yaitu menganalisis mengenai peran psikoterapi Islam dalam meningkatkan kesehatan mental. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Islamic psychotherapy dapat meningkatkan mental helath seseorang dan salah satu cara yang paling efektif. Melalui aspek penjiwaan dan control emosi yang baik dengan menerapkan psikoterapi Islam seperti ajaran agama Islam yang bersumber dari Al-quran dan Al-Hadist.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Pancasila education in strengthening the nation’s moral sovereignty in the era of Society 5.0, where digital technology development has brought significant transformations to all spheres of social and economic life. Aiming to what role of Pancasila-based education play to shape students’ moral characters in the face of the moral and social challenges stemming from technology innovations, it mainly focused on how Pancasila-based education is able to strengthen the character of the students in collaboration with Pancasila moral in relation with sociology and social change. The research approached a qualitative method with structured interviews as its instruments, involving three of open-end structured interviewees who are purposively selected: education professionals, technology professionals, and non-formal educators. The results demonstrate formal and non-formal educational institutions are still insufficient to instill Pancasila values in the students, so they use the technology in wise and ethical ways. Furthermore, digitalization fosters more benefits, but not well-regulated with strong moral base will lift up the risk of ethics degradation and misinformation. All three interviewees agreed that moral values should be synergized between education institutes, society, and governments to effectively implement it in the digital age. The practical implication of the results is proposing education policies and regulations to minimize the negative impact of technology development. This research contributes to the moral education literature in the digital era and suggests further research directions on innovative teaching methods and adaptive policies in education due to technology advancements.

Abstract

Wong Banyumasan is a community that lives in the Banyumas Residency. Wong Banyumasan has a blakasuta character. Besides blakasuta, there are other terms such as cablaka and thokmelong. In their life, wong Banyumasan use ngapak language as their daily language. Ngapak language is the oldest language among other Javanese languages. In this case, as the oldest language, ngapak language has differences with other Javanese languages. In addition, ngapak language is the biggest attribute of the wong Banyumasan. This is because ngapak language is used as the mother tongue by the wong Banyumasan and ngapak language only exists in the Banyumas Residency. With this statement, this paper analyses ngapak language as an attribute of wong Banyumasan. This research uses methods used in historical research methods, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. In addition, the data and topics studied in this paper show that this paper is the result of qualitative research. The formulation of the problem studied in this research is what is meant by wong Banyumasan, how the existence of ngapak language in the development of won Banyumasan lives, and why ngapak language is an attribute of wong Banyumasan
