Abstract

Dehydration occurs when a person experiences a lack of fluids, or when more fluids are lost than are taken in. The effects of dehydration can vary depending on the level, from fatigue, decreased muscle strength and endurance, to decreased overall performance, and can even lead to death. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the euhydration strategy developed by the American Dietic Association on the hydration status of futsal athletes. This study used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 20 Sport Science futsal athletes. The sampling technique used the Total Sampling technique where all populations would be samples. Hydration status was obtained by taking urine samples. Urine samples were collected from athletes before and after the match simulation using a special transparent urine container. The color of the urine was then compared with the PURI (Self Urine Check) urine color index/graph. Dehydration if the urine color scale is on a scale of 4-8 and not dehydrated/hydrated/euhydrated if the urine color scale is on a scale of 1-3. While the treatment was in the form of a euhydration strategy developed by the American Dietic Association. The results of the study showed a significant effect of the application of euhydration strategy on the hydration status of futsal athletes, with a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). Of the 20 research samples, there were 2 respondents who had euhydration status both before and after the implementation of the euhydration protocol and no respondents (zero) who experienced dehydration before the implementation of the euhydration protocol but remained dehydrated after the implementation of the euhydration protocol. then 15 respondents who had dehydration status before the implementation of euhydration but after the implementation of the euhydration protocol had euhydration status and there were 3 respondents who remained dehydrated both before and after the implementation of the euhydration protocol.

Abstract

This research is undermined by the code of ethics applied in Metro TV television media in particular article 7 on source rights, the content of which is that Indonesian journalists have the right to protect sources who do not want to know their identity and existence, respect the provisions of the embargo, background information and off the record. Which, after researchers observed the Metro TV media, Metro TV applied a good journalistic code of ethics especially in chapter 7. The aim of this study is to explain the implementation of the journalistic ethics code on Metro TV in applying chapter 7 on source rights in the dimensions of leadership, justice, honesty, and courage. The research methods used are qualitative descriptive methods with virtue ethics theory according to Aristotle and After Virtue theories according to Alasdair Maclntyre. Data collection techniques used are observations, interviews and documentation. This research focuses on researching the elements of leadership, justice, honesty and courage. The investigators took two active Metro TV reporters, two sources, one Kompas TV reporter and one deputy chairman of KPID Jabar. The results of this research show that the dimensions of leadership, justice, honesty and courage are as follows. The dimension of leadership is that Metro TV must have a leadership role in order to enhance a good media reputation. The last dimension of courage is that Metro TV reporters must be brave in dealing with a controversial report.

Abstract

Early childhood has a good memory. They can learn, understand, and use language well because they get language experience directly from their surrounding environment. This language experience helps early childhood learners understand and use language well. One of the most important languages to teach to young children is Arabic. In order for learning to be effective and for early childhood to be able to understand the material taught well, a learning method that suits their needs and abilities is necessary. This research is a literature research. Library research is an argumentative disclosure of data sources in the form of a study. The results of this study reveal the methods that can be used in learning in early childhood, namely: (1) direct method, (2) singing method, and (3) educational game method.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of service quality at Bank Negara Indonesia on student satisfaction as customers at Universitas Negeri Medan. In the context of intense competition within the banking sector, service quality has become a key factor in attracting and retaining customers. Utilizing a quantitative approach, this study employs surveys to collect data from students who are customers of BNI. The analysis results indicate a significant positive influence between service quality and customer satisfaction. Each improvement in service quality contributes to an increase in student satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of BNI in enhancing service quality dimensions, such as responsiveness and attention to customers, to meet the expectations of the younger generation. By understanding these factors, BNI is expected to strengthen customer loyalty and enhance competitiveness in the banking industry. This research provides valuable insights for bank management in formulating more effective service strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi permainan bahasa Wordwall untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris pada 32 siswa kelas XI Kuliner I di SMK Negeri 4 Bangli yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik purposive sampling dipilih karena fokus penelitian adalah pada siswa yang membutuhkan peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris dalam konteks pariwisata, yang relevan dengan jurusan Kuliner. Objek penelitian adalah platform Wordwall dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris, motivasi belajar siswa, dan kemampuan komunikasi siswa dalam konteks pariwisata. Metode penelitian menggunakan (mixed methods) dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan kosakata siswa, dengan nilai tes rata-rata mencapai 86,6%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Wordwall memiliki potensi besar sebagai metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik di berbagai mata pelajaran, tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan bermakna. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan Wordwall sebagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The integration of science and religion learning is becoming an increasingly relevant topic in the context of modern education. Basically, education aims to develop the intellectual, moral and spiritual aspects of learners but, in practice, science and religion education are often separated, resulting in a dualistic view that potentially hinders the formation of a holistic understanding. This article aims to explore the concept of integration between science and religion and analyse relevant approaches to its application in modern educational curricula. Using the literature review method, the article seeks to understand how the integration of science and religion can help learners develop comprehensive scientific insights, while taking into account spiritual and moral values. The conclusion of this article is that various approaches to learning science and religion in modern education can create a balance between empirical knowledge and ethical values, resulting in a generation that is both critically minded and spiritually aware.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi yang terus berkembang ini, keterampilan abad 21 menjadi sangat penting bagi siswa agar mereka dapat menghadapi berbagai tantangan di masa depan dengan baik. Sekolah dasar memiliki peran utama dalam membekali siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi sebagai dasar pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya memasukkan konsep kemandirian dalam belajar sebagai strategi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut sejak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kemandirian dalam belajar dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 pada siswa sekolah dasar dan merumuskan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk diterapkan. Memanfaatkan teknik penelitian pustaka dalam studinya ini menelaah literatur akademik mengenai konsep kemandirian belajar dan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek serta penggunaan teknologi pendidikan dan penilaian diril sebagai upaya mendukungnya. Temuan dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kemandirian belajar melalui pendekatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa dengan meningkatkan rasa tanggung jawab mereka serta kemampuan mandiri dan pengambilan keputusan. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar sekolah dasar fokus untuk menerapkan metode yang mendukung kemandirian belajar dan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran mandiri bagi para siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the expressive speech acts contained in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7. Expressive speech acts are a form of verbal communication that is used to express the speaker's emotions, feelings or attitude towards a situation. Through a pragmatic approach, this research identifies the types of expressive speech acts that appear in dialogue between characters and how these speech acts reflect the interpersonal relationships and emotions of the characters. Data was taken from conversations in the film which were then analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that expressive speech acts in this film reflect various forms of emotions such as happiness, sadness, gratitude and empathy which play an important role in character development and storyline. This research provides insight into how language is used to express feelings in film contexts and enriches understanding of the pragmatic function of language in popular media.

Abstract

Innovation in education plays an important role in improving the quality of learning and professionalism of teaching staff. This research focuses on the role of teachers as agents of change in the diffusion of educational innovations, especially in adopting new learning technologies and pedagogical approaches. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, which includes analysis of literature from books, journals and research reports. Research findings show that teacher readiness and support, such as training and ongoing professional development, greatly influence the success of innovation adoption. Inhibiting factors such as resistance to change and limited resources are also found to be obstacles in the diffusion of innovation. Therefore, institutional support and educational policies that strengthen teacher capacity are very necessary to accelerate the adoption process and improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Tik-Tok sebuah platform media internet, berisi beragam video dan fitur lain yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk berkomunikasi, mencari informasi, dan belajar melalui video yang relevan. Saat ini, banyak mahasiswa yang menggunakan aplikasi TikTok di internet hanya untuk menghibur diri. Penting untuk memperhatikan manfaat penggunaan media internet tik-tok dalam pembelajaran. Hingga aplikasi TikTok di internet dapat dimanfaatkan dengan tepat tanpa mengganggu proses pembelajaran. The aim of the research is to examine the impact of the TikTok internet media on students' learning at the State Islamic University of Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan observasi dan wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Peserta dalam studi ini meliputi mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling yang berasal dari angkatan 2022, dan juga para dosen yang mengajar kepada mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa media interaktif Tik-Tok memiliki dampak dalam proses pembelajaran mahasiswa Bidang Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling di Universitas Islam Negeri Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Baik positif maupun negatif mempengaruhinya.
