Abstract

This research begins with exploring the theories and indicators of mathematical problem solving skills and how they relate to the increase in students' Civic Disposition which will be described in a descriptive qualitative manner. Furthermore, after obtaining indicators of mathematical problem solving skills, the researchers developed interview guides, questionnaires and observation sheets that were useful for seeing an increase in Civic Disposition. Before the distribution of questionnaires, interviews and observations was carried out, the instruments were validated first by experts so that they could be declared valid and worthy of dissemination. Then the process of determining the research sample was carried out, namely one of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the city of Jambi. The research was conducted at MI Al-Munawwarah Jambi City. The results of the distribution of the questionnaire will be analyzed for each indicator of mathematical problem solving skills and their relationship with students' Civic Disposition. From the research conducted, it was found that in implementing these mathematical problem solving skills there is a relationship with an increase in students' civic disposition, seen from the character that is built in establishing cooperation in a problem solving. The process of learning mathematics which is related to the formation of civic character filled with other examples in different contexts will certainly be very beneficial for students in developing their mathematical skills such as reasoning and creative thinking in increasing students' civic disposition.

Social studies learning has an important role in the formation of student character. However, Social Studies learning in the formation of students' character is certainly not a problem easy, it takes continuous struggle to produce good results in accordance with the goals of national education. Social studies learning has something in common with character education, both of which have the goal of making students as good citizens, care about social problems, the existing environment, and also share a high sense of nationality.

Abstract

This article is a literature review from several written sources about the importance of intuitive thinking in learning mathematics. The flow of intuitionism emphasizes construction that depends on a belief. Currently, the development of intuitionism is still significant and plays an important role in learning mathematics related to discovery. In addition, intuition can be used as a liaison from one's vision so that it can help to connect the desired object with alternative choices of ideal answers. Intuition has a role as a trigger for a formal solution or as a first step in exploring answers. Intuition also plays a role when someone needs to choose and make critical choices, make, develop, and discover new hypotheses and theories in mathematics. The intuitive and analytical frameworks cannot be separated on the grounds that they are cognitive processes that complement one another. Analytical thinking is valuable at higher skill levels and can clarify and sharpen intuition. So the subjective (intuitive) and objective (analytical) aspects should not be seen as two conflicting choices, but two related approaches.

Abstract

Precise, fast and accurate information regarding traffic density conditions is what toll road users need. Toll road users can choose a route that is faster, smoother and safer to pass through information on the traffic conditions of the toll road to be passed in front of them, which is conveyed from the Variable Message Sign (VMS). Given the very dynamic traffic conditions in Jabodetabek and Bandung, a very reliable media and information technology support is needed, so that it can provide information on real traffic conditions, precisely according to conditions in the field. This information can be retrieved from Google Maps periodically as needed to update information on traffic conditions in the segments that will be displayed on the VMS. The segment is usually the distance from gate 1 to the next gate, or Interchange 1 to the next Interchange. The period of retrieval of information via Google Maps depends on the dynamics of traffic conditions that will be displayed on the VMS. For example, information related to traffic conditions for the Tomang – Kebon Jeruk segment, which is very dynamic, requires a shorter period of change or information update than the Kunciran – Parigi or Kunciran – Serpong segments, the period of each information change is longer or infrequent, because the traffic conditions are still small. VMS will display the information generated through the distance and average travel time from 1 point to a certain point in 1 segment of the toll road which is processed so as to produce the average vehicle speed data which will be converted into text that will be displayed on the VMS. The text formatted information is sent to the VMS. The process of withdrawing Google Maps data to sending text to VMS can be done in less than 1 minute, even the process can be carried out for more than 1 VMS and even 10 VMS units in 1 minute. This results in fast and accurate information.

Abstract

This article aims to provide information regarding the important role of the teacher in terms of improving the quality of learning with more innovative creative ideas, especially at the elementary school level. Innovative learning that is created must be in accordance with the learning objectives that have been determined by the teacher, be able to achieve what has been planned, have varied abilities in implementing learning and learning strategies that are tailored to the interests of learning and the needs of students, and be able to improve the quality of the learning process and results. learning aimed at improving the quality of education as a whole. Abstract

The era of society 5.0 brings major changes to the world of education in Indonesia. There are many challenges and problems, especially for Islamic boarding schools because they are not only demanded in the religious field but also able to overcome and face the turmoil of society era 5.0. This study seeks to reveal the curriculum of the Mambaus Sholihin Islamic boarding school in the Era of Society 5.0 The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the type of narrative research. ra society 5.0 membawa perubahan besar bagi dunia Pendidikan di Indonesia. Banyak tantangan dan permasalahan khususnya bagi pondok pesantren karena tidak hanya dituntut di bidang keagamaan tetapi juga mampu mengatasi dan menghadapi gejolak society era 5.0. Kajian ini berusaha mengungkap kurikulum pondok pesantren Mambaus Sholihin di Era Society 5.0 Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian narrative research. For data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews and libraries. The data analysis used is in the form of interpretation. The main findings in this study stated that the education curriculum of the Mambaus Sholihin islamic boarding school followed the Ministry of Education. For non-formal education, follow the Pesantren Law No. 18 of 2019, which is based on the yellow book and Islamic dirosah. Curriculum integration is very effective as the first step of the Mambaus Sholihin Islamic boarding school in responding to the development of technology and information that is developing very quickly in the era of society 5.0.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) or Integrated Quality Management in the field of Islamic education has the ultimate goal of improving quality and competitiveness for output (graduates) with indicators of competency both intellectual and skill as well as high social competence of students/graduates. In achieving these results, the implementation of TQM in Islamic education organizations needs to be done truthfully, not half-heartedly. By utilizing all the quality entities that exist within the organization, our education will not run where it is today. Implementation of TQM in educational organizations, especially in Islamic educational institutions, is not easy. There are obstacles in the work culture, the performance of teachers and employees is very influential. There is no denying that the work culture, performance and discipline of civil servants in our country is very low. This greatly affects the effectiveness of TQM implementation. This study uses the approach of the concept of Integrated Quality Management and the concept of Quality Management in Islamic Education. While this research uses library research methods, and qualitative methods. This research is expected to be able to provide input and good knowledge of new knowledge for the world of education, especially in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of teachers mastering learning variation skills to foster elementary school students' learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves individuals directly. Learning activities are carried out on the basis of strong motivation from within the individual and outside the individual student. Therefore, the teacher's skill in mastering the application of learning variations is very important because it can generate student learning motivation. The method used in this research is the literature review method, the data collection used is by examining various case studies that are relevant to the research. Until later, from the results of data collection, it can be concluded that in increasing student learning motivation, teachers must master several teaching skills and one of them is skills in mastering learning variations.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of learning by improving teaching methods and as a teacher's reference to create more interesting and varied learning in the learning process so as to increase student interest and motivation in learning can influence the improvement of student outcomes in learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the increase in the learning value of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship with the application of a portfolio-based learning model at SMKN 1 Cirebon. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the observation stage and the implementation stage. This research uses Classroom action research, which is carried out in three cycles and several stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) uses a portfolio-based learning model with learning methods in the form of inquiry methods and group discussions. In each implementation cycle sequence with the steps and goals set. At the final stage of the cycle implementation, a test was conducted to measure students' understanding and abilities. The data collection technique used is a test. The test is given at the end of each cycle. In cycle I and cycle II, students were given a multiple choice test consisting of 10 questions. In cycle III, students are given 20 multiple choice questions. In the first cycle of students who have met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 26.47%. In cycle II, 38.24% of students were able to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The highest increase was in cycle III, 76.47% of students were able to achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

Islam is a religion that regulates human life towards a plenary life. Because Islam is a system of life that is comprehensive and complete and regulates a wise foundation down to the smallest things. So, Islam since its inception (fourteen centuries) has essentially brought teachings that not only discuss one dimension of life, but Islam has brought multi-dimensional teachings of human life, namely the dimensions of theology, worship, muamalah, morals, philosophy, law and so on. Islam is a complete, comprehensive and perfect teaching that regulates the way of life for a Muslim both when worshiping and interacting with his environment. All of these teachings are summarized in the Koran and al-Hadith in the form of both global and technical concepts. Religious tolerance in Islam is an attitude of respecting, allowing, allowing opinions, views, beliefs, habits, behavior, and so on that differ from behavior that follows the rules of each religion, where people always respect, respect the behavior of others. because tolerance in Islam means highly appreciating attitudes and actions that prohibit discrimination against other people who are different in a society. Islam is a religion that teaches humanity to always respect and tolerate others and maintain the sanctity and truth of Islamic teachings.
