Abstract

The development of the business and industrial world (DUDI) demands an increase in hard skills, creativity and critical thinking from school graduates, including graduates of Vocational Schools. One of the efforts to achieve this is by implementing an freedom of Learn, where the learning process is constructivism which means student-centered learning. Furthermore, the understanding of a prospective educator related to the constructivism philosophy contained in the concept of independent learning must be improved first. This article will explain the philosophy of constructivism in the concept of freedom of Learn to develop understanding of prospective educators so they can implement it in vocational school learning. In this study the authors used the library research method, aiming to explore and collect relevant information and data from various sources obtained such as textbooks, dissertations, theses, research journals, research reports, documents of scientific discussion results, etc. Constructivism is defined as learning that emphasizes that knowledge is self-construction. Constructivism has an understanding of learning that emphasizes process rather than results and has the principle of student-centered learning, the teacher is only a facilitator and students discover more for themselves. This is very much in line with independent learning, students have the freedom to determine the knowledge they need by emphasizing the learning process. Prospective educators have an important role to play in building the competencies needed by students, these competencies are the 4C skills (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity). Education that applies 4C skills and provides independence in thinking, digging for the truth, reasoning critically and seeing phenomena in students will form students with superior character who have adaptive abilities and are ready to face the industrial world.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in language, culture, customs and is also rich in traditional houses or traditional houses. A traditional or traditional house is a building with a structure or shape that has its own characteristics as a characteristic or identity of an area and in general, traditional houses are built using local materials. One of the traditional houses in Riau that still exists and is well maintained is the Lontiok House. The Lontiok house has ornaments and architecture like a stilt house which has stairs, steps and a gate in front which signifies respect for every guest who comes to the Lontiok house and also respects the host himself. The philosophy and value of the gate or pavilion of the lontiok house is to respect one another. This study discusses the social values ​​of Lontiok Houses with the aim of describing the social values ​​contained in Lontiok Houses. The benefits obtained from this research can make a foothold to the general public that the Lontiok house is one of Riau's cultural heritage. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Collection of library research data and field research. Library research relies almost entirely on data from libraries. The results obtained in this study are that there are seven social values ​​contained in the Lontiok house, namely: 1) Social kinship values ​​(deliberation), 2) Religious values, 3) Economic values, 4) values ​​of togetherness or affection, 5) Values ​​of please helping, 6) the value of tolerance and 7) the value of caring.

Abstract

The discussion of this study explains the results of the research that has been carried out. In this first cycle, the indicators for interpreting ability, articulation, intonation, diction, expression, and totality were inadequate or still in the moderate category. Even so, learning in the first cycle of action has not been achieved but has experienced an increase. The reflection results from the first cycle can be used as a reference for implementing the second cycle class treatment. The implementation of the second cycle of class treatment has been fully achieved and has increased as expected in all indicators. Based on the results of the first and second cycle d, it can be concluded that the application of calempong-based poetry musicalization learning can improve the poetry reading ability of class XI students of SMKN I Bangkinang. This can be seen from the increase in indicators of the ability to read poetry in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of student delinquency which is increasingly prevalent in schools, various forms of student delinquency ranging from mild delinquency such as truancy to delinquency that causes victims from other parties such as fighting, brawls, and extortion. This is the basis for the purpose of this study, namely to find out (1). How big is the level of delinquency that causes physical victims at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (2). How big is the level of delinquency that causes material victims for other people at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (3). How big is the level of social delinquency that does not cause victims from other parties at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City?, (4). How big is the level of delinquency against one's own status at Ferdy Ferry Putra High School, Jambi City? The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population and sample in this study were students in class X and XI at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra, Jambi City, with a total of 82 students. using total sampling technique. To find out the accuracy and validity of this instrument, a percentage test was carried out and with the help of the SPSS 24.00 program. The results showed that the delinquent behavior of students at SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra, Jambi City, was 82.37% at a high level, if you look at the data description indicators as follows (1). Delinquent behavior that causes physical casualties with a total percentage calculation of 80.69% at a high level, (2). Delinquent behavior that causes material victims to other people with a total calculation of 84.14% at a high level, (3). social delinquency that does not cause victims from other parties with a total calculation of 81.89% at a high level. (4). Student delinquency behavior on indicators of delinquency against one's own status with a total calculation of 83.78% at a high level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students whose social interaction skills are low at school and have not been maximized in social interaction in the school environment. This study aims to reveal the quality of over protective, the quality of social interaction skills and to reveal the effect of over protective on the social interaction skills of XI grade students at SMA N 9 Jambi City. The ability of social interaction is the ability of an individual to have a reciprocal relationship between individuals and individuals, groups with groups, and between individuals and groups. treatment Over protective is excessive protection that will close the opportunity for children to learn from the environment so that he does not know how to respond to environmental conditions wisely because the only one in their mind and heart is themselves. This type of research is quantitative with the survey. The data collection technique is using a questionnaire, to determine the accuracy of the instrument validity and reliability tests are carried out. While the data analysis technique used the formula C formula, normality test, linearity test, and simple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS Statistics 24 application. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 86 students. The results showed that the effect of over protective on the social interaction skills of a XI students at SMA N 9 Jambi City was at a percentage of 24.5% or 0.245 with a fairly strong classification. Thus, the higher the over protective, the lower the social interaction ability of class XI students at SMA N 9 Jambi City. Guidance and counseling teachers should pay attention and provide assistance to students who have low interaction skills to be able to grow and improve students social interaction skills.

Abstract

This study is based on the existence of student anxiety phenomena that will happen to worsen and add specific problems in the world of education where there is a wide variety of anxiety experienced by students, anxiety experienced by students in school demanding properly penetrated by teacher guidance and counseling with the relaxation technique can reduce anxiety. The purpose of this study is to know the number of student anxiety condition of IX E grade in SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City before the group counseling service with relaxation techniques, knowing the steps of counseling group with relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety in the class IX E Student in SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City, knowing the number of student anxiety class IX E SMP Negeri 19 Jambi city is not a group counseling with relaxation techniques. This type of research is research service (PTL) subject of 8 students SMP country of 19 Jambi city with gender 5 women and 3 men. This study is a student who is experiencing anxiety caused by fear, anxious, thoughts too long so that it can disrupt the child's thinking skills will be afraid of not passing. This research is conducted with four cycles, each cycle consists of, planning, implementation, evaluation, reflection. To see the results of the cycle it performed with observation data collection, interview. The results of this study indicate that the anxiety of student SMP country of 19 Jambi City could be reduced by using relaxation techniques which obtained an increase of 85%. The first cycle with a percentage of 38%, obtained cycle two with a percentage of 44%, obtained a third cycle with 82% percentage, obtained a 4 cycle with a percentage of 85%. These results are expected to help teachers guidance and counseling in reducing student anxiety.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study, from which data were obtained through observation and interviews with the Kadatua community. The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning and values of the kasohaka tradition in the Kadatua community, so that it becomes a reference for the Kadatua community, especially in the application of traditional values that exist in the community. The research was conducted through several stages, namely: Observation, Interview, Documentation, Data Analysis. The kasohaka tradition is carried out by means of residents preparing "kantila" (fill gutters) which will be placed on the kasohaka building. Baruga was made as a building for the implementation of the kasohaka ritual, in this baruga the community led by the traditional leader to offer prayers to avoid disaster. Kasohaka tradition contains values such as religious values, mutual cooperation values, cultural values and the value of deliberation. According to people's beliefs if this tradition is not carried out there will be strong winds, heavy rain and big waves, the kasohaka tradition can mitigate disasters because they believe in the prayers they say to the creator to exorcise "demons". disaster bearer.

Abstract

This study has a purpose to determine the budget for the maintenance of fixed assets (machines), to find out the realization of the budget for maintaining fixed assets (machines) is greater than the budget for maintenance costs, and to determine the effect of maintenance costs on fixed assets (machines) on the smooth production of CV Rabbani. The data analysis method used is descriptive test analysis technique, descriptive test is a way of formulating and interpreting existing data so as to provide a clear picture through collecting, compiling and analyzing data, so that a general description of the maintenance activities carried out by the company can be known. The results of the research that have been obtained explain that the decrease in the amount of production occurs due to the number of machines that are damaged so that it increases the amount of maintenance costs that exceed the total maintenance cost budget that has been set by CV Rabbani.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the standardization of research quality in elementary schools. The research method used is library research. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. In order to maintain the accuracy of the assessment and prevent misinformation in data analysis, bibliography checks and literature rereading are carried out. The purpose of this research is to develop a theoretical basis regarding the standardization of research quality in elementary schools. The results of this study are a comprehensive study of standardization of research quality in elementary schools including: 1) standardization of research quality including reliability and validity in a quantitative approach, 2) credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability are specifications for qualitative research quality standards, and 3) a similar study can be developed in the future by involving independent observers, researchers in the form of a team, and other things that support the quality assurance of research results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Teacher Teaching Competence and Learning Facilities at Home on Student Learning Motivation at SMA Bina Siswa. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a population of 60 students and taking the entire population. The data collection instrument used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a Google form that used a Likert scale for the independent variables, namely teacher teaching competence (X1) and home study facilities (X2). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results obtained show that the teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities at home simultaneously affect student learning motivation. Based on the results of the analysis, the calculation shows the value of Fcount > Ftable (25.144> 3.16). Meanwhile, partially the teaching competence of teachers and learning facilities in the house has an effect on student learning motivation in student development high school in Rokan Hilir district. This is based on the results of the t test, the teacher teaching competence variable obtained a tcount of 6.690 with a ttable value of 2.001 and home learning facilities obtained a tcount of 6.541 with a ttable value of 2.001. So it can be concluded that the teacher's teaching competence and learning facilities at home have an effect on student learning motivation with a contribution of 60.8% and the remaining 38.2% is influenced by variables not examined.
