Abstract

Macroeconomic variables often have an impact on stock price volatility and this is needed especially to determine stock price policies in the future. The approach used to see the extent of the volatility of macroeconomic variables on stock prices is the ARCH/GARCH model. This study aims to analyze the nature of stock price volatility in the food and beverage industry in Indonesia using ARCH/GARCH. The data used in this study is secondary data, namely the stock prices of food and beverage industry companies during the period January 2015 to May 2021. The analysis of stock price volatility was carried out with the help of the Eviews 9 software. The results showed the characteristics of the stock price volatility of food and beverage companies based on the ARCH model. /GARCH is quite risky in the short term but not in the long term (indicated by macroeconomic variables of exchange rates, short-term interest rates), so that stock price movements can be anticipated as an early warning system of an increase or decrease in stock prices in the sector. In addition, it can be estimated that the volatility of stock prices in the future is moderate with changes in macroeconomic variables. For policy makers to anticipate changes in macroeconomic variables in certain situations, such as during the current Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a digital-based marketing strategy for young entrepreneurs. This study uses a qualitative approach through an interpretive paradigm by adopting a marketing mix. The population used in this study is the entirety of young entrepreneurs between the ages of 25 and 40 years in North Luwu. The minimum sample size was taken based on the calculation of 10 times the number of measurement items and obtained a total sample of 183. The analytical method used to formulate a digital-based marketing strategy is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis. Before this analysis stage, the data quality test was first carried out, namely the validity and reliability tests. This study resulted in nine formulations of digital-based marketing strategies to support the business activities of young entrepreneurs, namely three strategies (S-O), two strategies (S-T), two strategies (W-O), and two strategy formulations (W-T).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of knowledge sharing, digital competence, motivation and performance of young entrepreneurs. This research is a survey of 200 young entrepreneurs using the snowball sampling technique. Furthermore, validation and refinement tests were carried out, after which hypothesis testing was carried out using a structural equation model. The results show that there is a positive relationship between knowledge sharing, digital competence, motivation and performance of young entrepreneurs. In addition, motivation has a positive impact on the performance of young entrepreneurs. This study has revealed the relationship between knowledge sharing, motivation, and performance of young entrepreneurs as well as the indirect effect of motivational variables on the relationship between knowledge sharing, digital competence and performance of young entrepreneurs, which to the author's knowledge, has not been well explained in previous studies. This research produces practical implications, namely for practitioners and policy makers to be able to increase their understanding of knowledge sharing and be able to determine the right type of digital media as media that processes information, data, and other technological developments to support business activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk. Divisi Shop & drive Jakarta, dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin dan budaya organisasi terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk. Divisi Shop & drive Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini populasinya adalah karyawan PT.Astra Otoparts Tbk. Divisi Shop & drive Jakarta yang berjumlah 150 orang. Adapun teknik pengambilan sample dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dimana jumlah sample dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 orang. Prestasi kerja karyawan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting bagi PT. Otoparts Tbk. Divisi Shop&drive Jakarta. Pentingnya peningkatan prestasi kerja karyawan disebabkan karena adanya kenyataan bahwa tingkat prestasi kerja yang tinggi akan mendorong tercapainya tujuan dan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin berpengaruh 39,4% persen terhadap Prestasi kerja karyawan, dalam hal ini didukung dari hasil analisis korelasinya r= 0,628. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh 33,5% persen terhadap Prestasi kerja karyawan, hal ini didukung dari analisis korelasinya r= 0,579. Secara bersama-sama variabel disiplin dan variabel budaya organisasi nyata mempengaruhi sebesar 46,8% persen terhadap Prestasi kerja karyawan. Hal ini didukung dari hasil analisis korelasinya r= 0,684, dan sisanya 53,2% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti Hasil Uji F sebesar 25,116 dengan signifikan F sebesar 0,000 ini menunjukan bahwa model adalah nyata karena diperoleh Signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Ini berarti H0 ditolak atau H1diterima, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa seluruh variabel bebas mempunyai pengaruh terhadap variabel terikat. Dengan demikian,tujuan penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa Disiplin dan Budaya organisasi secara simultan nyata mempengaruhi Prestasi kerja Karyawan

Abstract

Along with the development of people's lifestyles, the concept of environmental awareness has now become part of their daily lives. For this reason, it is necessary to know the effect of green marketing on purchase intention in a green label tissue with environmental awareness as a moderation. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires with Google Forms to 175 respondents, which are then analyzed using Moderate Analysis Regression (MRA). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that green marketing has a positive effect on purchase intention, and the consequences of the second hypothesis test indicate that environmental awareness strengthens the influence of green marketing on the customers' purchase intention. The implications of this research can provide input for companies that want to increase purchase intention of products with a green marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study examines how macroeconomic indicators and Covid-19 cases can affect the movement of the LQ45 index. The Covid-19 case was also studied as a moderator between the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and the LQ45 index to determine whether the Covid-19 case needed to be a crucial consideration when investing in stocks using macroeconomic indicator analysis techniques. This study was tested using multiple regression analysis methods. The results of the analysis found that the factors that were found to significantly affect the LQ45 index were the exchange rate which impacted the LQ45 index significantly negatively, the price of Brent oil, which involved the LQ45 index significantly negatively, the DJIA index, which positively affected the LQ45 index, and the case of Covid-19 which affects the LQ45 index significantly negatively. This study found two macroeconomic variables that had no significant effect on the LQ45 index: the inflation rate and real interest rates. Furthermore, the results has found a negative effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the LQ45 index, so it is hoped that the government and investors can consider this research indicator as a consideration in making economic and investment decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to propose Pricing Strategy. First, this study determines the dominant factors that influence the number of housing prices in Denpasar as the Capital city of Bali Island, a center of tourism in Indonesia and Jakarta as the Capital City and central government of Indonesia. This study uses a multiple linear regression test; the sample was 115 houses data, 60 houses in Denpasar, and 55 in Jakarta. Second, this study will propose a strategy for determining house prices. The survey results will show what factors are dominant in determining the number of housing prices in Denpasar and Jakarta. This research is helpful for home sellers to determine the cost of the house to be sold. This research is also helpful for prospective home buyers to determine the reasonableness of the house price they will buy. This study also covers the discussion regarding the consideration of homebuyers in terms of taxes.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationships between gender diversity in the board of directors and firm performance. It also uses several control variables: education, age, tenure, board size, board meeting, firm size, firm age, and leverage. We examine the relationship between variables with several methods, such as descriptive statistic methods, correlation tests, t-tests, and hypothesis testing on 29 LQ45 companies from 2016-2020. Our finding shows that gender diversity on the board of directors significantly negatively impacts firm performance. Despite the negative research results, we still recommend that companies increase gender diversity on the board of directors because many studies state a positive relationship between gender diversity on the board of directors and firm performance. In addition, the small number of women on the board of directors is less capable of positively affecting company performance, whereas, in this study, the number of women in each company each year is relatively small. The limitations of this study are that the number of years studied is only five years and the measurement of gender diversity only uses one proxy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of grit and self-efficacy on work engagement for health workers at type C hospitals in Depok City. The data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), namely Partial Least Square (PLS). The sample size in this study was 200 respondents. The results showed that grit positively and significantly affects work engagement. Grit has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Self-efficacy mediates the relationship between grit which has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Based on the Variance Accounted For (VAF) calculation, self-efficacy mediates partially. With self-efficacy, grit will affect increasing work engagement. This research can provide literature about the role of grit and self-efficacy on the work engagement of nurses at Type C Hospital. This research is helpful for hospitals in developing strategies to increase nurse work engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence of beauty vlogger on consumer purchase intention through the promotion of perfume product. This research is a quantitative analysis with a sample of 100 respondents, who live in Jakarta and Bekasi and have used perfume products which are promoted by certain beauty vlogger (Rachel Goddard). The sample method is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that the direct effect is greater than the indirect effect because the influence of beauty vlogger is greater than promotion. The benefit of this research for Perfume Products is to increase consumer buying interest through promotion by beauty vlogger.
