Abstract

SMEs' main problem in Indonesia is maintaining going concerned or business continuity. This research is motivated by the East Java SME business phenomenon, TSR. This study aims to demonstrate TSR's ability to interpret going concerns as implemented through financial management and marketing. The research method uses an interpretation paradigm as an umbrella for research with a phenomenological approach. Researchers collected data in the field for two months using an interview, observation, and documentation approach. The data analysis phase uses an intentional analysis, epoche, dan eidetic reduction. The results showed that TSR owners value perseverance and piety in maintaining business continuity. Business continuity at TSR is achieved through financial and marketing management. Financial management at TSR reflects accountability, efficiency, and compliance with the law. TSR conducts market segmentation, builds customer loyalty, and creates the brand image in its marketing activities.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between workload, organization support, work environment, and employee performance among 146 employees who work from home in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 24.0 was used for data analysis. Statistical results reveal a significant positive relationship between workload and work environment with employee performance. Meanwhile, organizational support is not significantly related to employee performance. For implication, management should reconsider their practice to determine the best way to support and address the needs of employees working from home as organizational support. Leaders and management must monitor and evaluate the flow of organizational support, and the results can be used as input to provide organizational support to the employee. For further researchers interested in continuing this research, it is expected to develop, namely transformational leadership and motivation

Abstract

Abstract- Internet has played an important role in people's daily life where people can talk over the internet with someone who is actually on the other side of the earth, can send email all the time, can find information, can play games with other people, and can even buy goods. by online. Shopee will become one of the top online shopping platforms in Indonesia in 2021. In every era, actually the sandwich generation will always exist. The status of the sandwich generation makes a person have a greater number of family dependents when compared to non-generational sandwiches. The more number of family dependents causes making sandwiches tend to be higher financial obligations and the proportion of free time is less. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study research design. A total of 17 informants had their data processed, and the research problem answered that the lifestyle of the sandwich generation, which most of its time was spent working, really depended heavily on an online system that provided practicality and many benefits in meeting monthly needs. Moreover, the informants in this study used Shopee as a whole, stating that Shopee has many advantages over similar online platforms.Keywords: Case Study, Lifestyle, Sandwich Generation, Online Shopping Behavior, Shopee. Abstrak- Internet telah memainkan peran penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari manusia di mana orang dapat berbicara melalui internet dengan seseorang yang sebenarnya berada di sisi lain bumi, dapat mengirim email sepanjang waktu, dapat mencari informasi, dapat bermain game dengan orang lain, dan bahkan bisa membeli barang secara online. Shopee menjadi salah satu platform belanja online teratas di Indonesia pada 2021. Pada setiap zaman, sebenarnya generasi sandwich akan selalu ada. Status generasi sandwich membuat seseorang memiliki jumlah tanggungan keluarga yang lebih banyak apabila dibandingkan dengan non-generasi sandwich. Jumlah tanggungan keluarga yang lebih banyak tersebut menyebabkan generasi sandwich memiliki kewajiban finansial yang cenderung lebih tinggi dan proporsi waktu luang yang lebih sedikit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Sejumlah 17 orang informan telah diolah datanya, dan persoalan penelitian yang ada terjawab bahwa gaya hidup generasi sandwich yang sebagian besar waktunya tersita untuk bekerja memang bergantung besar pada sistem online yang memberikan kepraktisan dan banyak manfaat dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan bulanan. Lebih daripada itu, informan pada penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menggunakan Shopee, dinyatakan bahwa Shopee memiliki banyak kelebihan dibandingkan platform online sejenis.Kata Kunci: Gaya Hidup, Generasi Sandwich, Perilaku Belanja Online, Shopee, Studi Kasus.

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to examine the effect of intellectual capital, company size, and capital structure on stock prices and their impact on financial performance as intervening variables. This paper uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using Smart PLS software. The analysis in this paper consists of two measurement models, the outer model or measurement model and the inner model or structural model. The number of companies used as research samples was 16 during the 2017-2021 period in Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN). The results of the study show that Intellectual Capital has a significant and positive effect on stock prices and also a significant and positive effect on financial performance. Capital structure has no significant effect on stock prices and has a significant and positive effect on financial performance. Company size has no significant effect on stock prices and has a significant and positive effect on financial performance. Financial performance has a significant and positive effect on stock prices.

Abstract

Consumer loyalty is an essential thing in the world of marketing. A company is also required to cultivate its competitive advantage through various innovative, creative, and efficient efforts so that it becomes a choice of existing consumers, and it is hoped that, in the end, they will be loyal to the company. This study aims to determine service quality, trust, and consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty at beauty salon raf beauty art Ponorogo. The sample is a consumer who has had treatment at the RAF Beauty Art Beauty Salon, using a purposive sampling technique and a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 26 program to show that perceived trust partially and customer satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an essential factor in the success of company goals. A company is also required to be able to manage the human resources in the company properly through efforts to pay attention to the leadership style adopted, maintain employee involvement with the company, and the working environment conditions around the employee so that employee work results can be achieved. As expected, in the end, employees are satisfied with their current job. Furthermore, company goals can be achieved. The study aims to determine the impact of transformational leadership, employee engagement, and the work environment on employee job satisfaction. Using this type of quantitative research with a questionnaire of 50 respondents, The analytical methods used are multiple linear regression. The results show that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, employee engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and the work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. This research provides benefits to increase job satisfaction for employees.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically prove the effect of executive compensation, executive characteristics, and executive share ownership on tax avoidance. Using a descriptive associative research method and secondary data, this study was shown in the consumer goods manufacturing corporation listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017–2021. The sampling method used purposive sampling. This research used 16 sample corporations, with a five-year research period of 5 years, so 80 objections were obtained for data processing. This study found that executive-compensation variables have no significant effect on tax avoidance, executive characteristics, and executive of the shareholder have a negative effect on tax avoidance.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of fear of missing out (FoMO) on impulse buying and the mediation effect of price sensitivity, and the moderator effect of scarcity cues in these relations. Three hundred and eighty-four students from two universities in Jakarta were involved in the study by completing a two-phase online questionnaire. Moderation and mediation procedure (MODMED) was applied to test the hypothesis with Macro Process 4.0. The empirical findings of this study demonstrate that fear of missing is negatively related to price sensitivity and positively related to impulse buying. Fear of missing out has also been confirmed to affect impulse buying through price sensitivity indirectly. Furthermore, according to expectations, scarcity cues were also verified to strengthen the effect of fear of missing out and price sensitivity on impulse buying.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between Islamic work ethics (IWE) and employee voice in the education sector. Our research model includes the role of civility climate and organizational identification as moderating factors. Using a time-lagged approach, we collected data from 227 lecturers across various universities and analyzed the model using a mediation moderation procedure and macro Process. Our results confirm that IWE is positively related to civility and employee voice. Moreover, employee voice is positively associated with the civility climate, which mediates IWE and employee voice. Lastly, the strength of the relationship between IWE and employee voice depends on the level of organizational identification.

Abstract

This study carries a model by proving that creativity is influenced by behavioral resilience through the development of business actors moderated by the creative self-efficacy of business actors. A total of 107 small, micro, and medium enterprises spread across the island of Java were the samples for this study. Sampling technique with snowball sampling. Analysis technique by testing mediation moderation with ProcessV3.5. The results support the six hypotheses and prove the model that resilience influences creative behavior through growth which is moderated by the creative self-efficacy of business actors. Promoting the creative economy requires actors who are also creative. The creation and improvement of the creative behavior of business actors is necessary to create and increase their resilience, development and self-efficacy.
