Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work discipline, teamwork, and compensation on employee performance at PT Sumatera Prima Fibreboard. Preliminary observations and interviews revealed that a lack of work discipline, poor teamwork, and dissatisfaction with compensation were hindering employee performance and the achievement of organizational goals. This research addresses these issues by examining the direct effects of these three variables. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 204 employees, a sample determined using Slovin's formula with a 5% margin of error from a total population of 416. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 30, utilizing multiple linear regression and partial t-tests at a 5% significance level. The results consistently demonstrated that work discipline, teamwork, and compensation each had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings align with existing theories in human resource management regarding performance enhancement. While limited by its cross-sectional design, this study offers novelty by simultaneously examining these key variables within the underexplored context of the wood processing industry in Palembang. Practically, the findings provide valuable guidance for managerial decision-making, enabling the formulation of policies that prioritize employee development through reinforced discipline, fostering collaborative synergy, and implementing fair compensation systems

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between transformational leadership and sustainable performance through two mediating variables: innovative work behavior and pro-environmental behavior. A total of 210 employees from CV Kalingga Keling Jati were surveyed using a Likert scale (1–5) questionnaire with a quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS. The findings reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on pro-environmental behavior, innovative work behavior, and sustainable performance. Furthermore, the effect of transformational leadership on sustainable performance is mediated by both innovative and environmentally friendly work behaviors. This emphasizes the role of transformational leaders in fostering a workplace culture that encourages creativity and environmental responsibility, which in turn enhances business sustainability. Practically, this suggests the need for leadership development programs that emphasize creativity and environmental awareness.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of sharia service quality and technological ease of use on the interest in using the BYOND by BSI application, with customer satisfaction as a moderating variable. Employing a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, the research involved 120 Generation Z customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia in Yogyakarta. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. Findings reveal that both sharia service quality and ease of use significantly and positively affect user interest in the application. Customer satisfaction also has a positive impact on interest. However, satisfaction does not moderate the relationship between the independent variables and user interest. This indicates that satisfaction neither strengthens nor weakens the effect of service quality and ease of use on user interest. The results suggest that for Generation Z users of Islamic mobile banking, ease of use and adherence to sharia principles are primary determinants of interest, regardless of satisfaction levels. Therefore, mobile banking development should emphasize user convenience and the consistent integration of Islamic features. Future research is encouraged to explore additional variables such as perception, security, and trust as potential mediators or moderators, and to expand the respondent base beyond Yogyakarta with a larger sample size
