Jurnal ini diberi nama LITERASI, nama tersebut dipilih sebagai upaya untuk tetap menjadikan keterampilan berbahasa sebagai landasan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Seperti sebuah pernyataan “bahasa sebagai penghela ilmu pengetahuan”. Jurnal LITERASI diterbitkan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah dua kali dalam setahun. Terbitan pertama pada tahun berjalan adalah bulan Januari dan terbitan kedua adalah bulan Juli. Setiap kali terbit, jurnal ini memuat delapan artikel yang mengkaji dan membahasa masalah pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Jurnal ini memuat artikel hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, baik yang ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa asing. Selain secara online jurnal ini juga terbit secara cetak (ISSN 2086-4795). Diharapkan Jurnal ini mampu menjadi media informasi yang kredibel dan berdayaguna.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with various cultures. The way people use language can reflects cultural value. Language has specific functions, and one of them is a phatic function. The phatic form is used to maintain social bonds between speakers and hearers. Sundanese is one of the regional languages in Indonesia where many phatic forms are found, one of them is the use of addressed terms. In Sundanese culture, several forms of addressed terms are found, which are identified as phatic forms. In the culture of the Sundanese people, several forms of address terms are found, which are identified as phatic expressions. In collecting the data, observation is done to find natural data in the forms of address terms used by adolescent and adult speakers in Bandung, West Java. A survey using questionnaire was also conducted to validate the data obtained through observation. Based on the analysis and discussion, this study shows that there are several functional differences in the use of address terms as phatic expression in the domain of friendship, family, and strangers analyzed based on age perspective. The use of address terms as phatic expression reflects the culture of Sundanese people that uphold politeness values. Abstract

Language has a highly vital role in life. One of them is the use of persuasion. Persuasion used in preaching must try to coax, influence, and change the mindsets of the preaching participants in the activity of preaching. This present study was categorized as aqualitative research using the theoretical orientation of discourse analysis. The data research were in the forms of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences. It was obtained from the persuasive preaching discourses which were transcribed from the show program of “Mamah Dedeh and AA Beraksi” on Indosiar channel downloaded via Youtube in March, 2019. The results of the discourse analysis of Mamah Dedeh's preaching in Indosiar include, (1) persuasive diction include (a) (a) the choice of words to invite by encouraging and ordering, (b) the choice of words to prohibit by preventing and forbidding, (c) the choice of words to threaten by fear and detrimental; (2) the content of persuasive messages includes (a) the content of the message inviting to take action, recommending, and ordering (b) the content of the prohibition message by commanding and requesting (c) the content of the threat message with self harm and harm to others, and; (3) persuasive message strategies include (a) rational reinforcement strategies with facts and logic, (b) emotional evocation strategies by emphasizing sadness and emphasizing anxiety, and (c) mixed strategies by emphasizing bad and emphasizing good

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bentuk dan makna kata sapaan kekerabatan pada masyarakat Desa Rantau Panjang, Kecamatan Muara Siau, Kabupaten Merangin. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data-data tersebut dapat diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, foto, dokumentasi pribadi, catatan, atau memo, dan dokumentasi. Di dalam teknik pengumpulan teknik analisis data, teknik yang digunakan ialah penyajian data, reduksi data, display data, kesimpulan hasil penelitian. Bentuk dan makna kata sapaan kekerabatan oleh masyarakat Desa Rantau Panjang, Kecamatan Muara Siau, Kabupaten Merangin ialah berbentuk sapaan kekerabatan vertikal ke atas yang bervariasi. Sapaan dari orang tua kakek yaitu Puyong. Sapaan dari orang tua kakek yaitu Nektan. Sapaan untuk orang tua dari ibu dan bapak yaitu Neknu. Sapaan dari orang tua laki-laki yaitu Bak/Pak. Sapaan untuk orang tua perempuan yaitu Mak, sapaan dari saudara orang tua laki-laki yaitu Pak Wo, Pak Ngah, Pak Cik, Pak Nzu, Pak Tek, sesuai dengan urutan paling tua. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa bentuk sapaan kekerabatan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Rantau Panjang, Kecamatan Muara Siau, Kabupaten Merangin ialah”Nek Yut, Nek Yang, Nektan, Neknu, Bak/Pak, Mamak, Pak Cik, Pak Wo, Mak Cik, Wo, yuk Dik, Kak, Bg, Jang, Dih, Dik, Cong, Yut”. Sapaan ini dibagi dalam beberapa klasifikasi bentuk yaitu sapaan vertikal ke atas, vertikal ke bawah, dan harizontal, dalam sapaan kekerabatan ini bermakna atau bertujuan untuk menyapa seseorang dengan tata krama, dan menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat hingga sekarang.

Abstract

This research aims to develop application-based learning media in writing fantasy stories for class VII. The type of research and development that the author uses in this research is the Research and Development method and development. Research and Development is research used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product to be researched. The results of observations of the learning process using the Pixellab application in writing fantasy stories for class VII show that learning to write fantasy stories shows that students' activities are effective, creative, active and fun.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the profile of Pancasila students as an effort to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in students. In this research, the author uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the independent curriculum is the most optimal curriculum in fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship in students through the development of the Pancasila student profile. Where in the development of the Pancasila learner profile, project-based learning activities are carried out. So, it is hoped that in the future students will become a creative, independent society and be able to face economic problems in Indonesia in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

One of the language skills that must be mastered by students is writing ability. Writing ability is one of the foundations for students to develop effective written communication skills. However, the reality on the ground shows that not all students are able to master writing skills. The purpose of this research is to show the predictive factors that influence students' writing skills in elementary schools. The research method used is the correlational survey method. This research involved one hundred elementary school studentss. The students were given exercises in the form of free essay writing. Then the students were given a questionnaire to find out the predictive factors that influenced them. The results of the study show that predictive factors do not significantly influence the writing abilities of elementary school students.

Abstract

Sentences have an important role in spoken and written language activities. Units of thought, idea, or message in a sentence must be able to be conveyed clearly by a speaker and writer. The ideas in explanatory text are no exception. This explanation is packaged, among other things, in the form of definitions, arguments, clarifications, classifications, interpretations and constructions. The use of effective sentences should be applied by class VIII junior high school students in writing explanatory texts. If students can apply the rules of effective sentences, then the written explanatory text can be easily understood by readers and does not give rise to multiple interpretations. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data in this research are in the form of effective and ineffective sentences contained in the explanatory text written by students of SMPN 1 Turen class 8 based on the aspects of variation, parallelism, economy and completeness. The data source for this research is a collection of explanatory texts by students of SMPN 1 Turen class 8 obtained from teachers who teach Indonesian language subjects. Based on variation, variations were found in sentence opening. Each sentence begins with a noun, adverb of time, verb, and conjunction. Sentences with different types of nouns, adverbs of time, verbs and conjunctions were found. Apart from variations in openings, variations in sentence patterns were also found consisting of subject-predicate-complement (S-P-Pel), predicate-subject-object (P-S-O), object-subject-predicate (O-S-P), subject-adverb-predicate (S-K-P) patterns. ), and adverb-subject-predicate (K-S-P).

Abstract

The implementation of the independent learning curriculum program in schools aims to develop human resources capable of welcoming the Society 5.0 era. This article is a literature review from a number of journals that are qualitatively relevant to the topic discussed. The steps taken by the author to collect readings in this article are (1) collecting data related to the topic of interest; (2) Summarize and prepare relevant main topics. The next generation will answer the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. The author's final result in this article is to show that the implementation of autonomous learning is appropriate in the Society 5.0 era. Creativity and innovation are skills that writers need to become strong, tough and persistent. Implementing independent learning programs in schools to improve the quality of education in Indonesia and prepare graduates to compete well in global competition.

Abstract

Siswa kini memiliki lebih banyak pilihan dengan Kurikulum Belajar Mandiri untuk menyesuaikan pendidikan mereka dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan kemampuan unik mereka. Dengan mendorong siswa untuk mengejar pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dan memaksimalkan potensi individu mereka, konsep ini berupaya untuk meningkatkan standar pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut dan mengumpulkan data tentang kurikulum mandiri yang digunakan oleh sekolah penggerak, khususnya di SMP 4 PGRI Jambi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang menggambarkan subjek tentang situasi dan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan investigasi. Strategi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang relevan dan mudah dipahami oleh pembaca. Tulisan ini memberikan penjelasan yang komprehensif mengenai bagaimana kurikulum mandiri diimplementasikan di sekolah mengemudi. Temuan-temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum sekolah penggerak telah diterima dan saat ini sedang digunakan, meskipun masih ada banyak masalah dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Sekolah Motivator Studi Kasus di SMP 4 PGRI Jambi telah memberikan dampak positif yang cukup besar terhadap pertumbuhan pendidikan di wilayah tersebut. Jika kurikulum ingin berhasil, administrator sekolah dan guru Motivator harus terdorong untuk melaksanakan perbaikan. Jika ingin menetapkan kurikulum mandiri maka kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin harus memberikan inspirasi bagi sumber daya manusia sekolah untuk melakukan perubahan.

Abstract

Over time, the challenges and roles carried out by teachers will certainly change, one of which is the development in the field of technology which also plays a role and can affect these changes. Especially when referring to various policies in the existing and latest curriculum, of course this is one of the interesting things to discuss. Therefore, the author's aim to be conveyed in this paper is to discuss the challenges and role of the teacher himself specifically in dealing with the use of the independent learning curriculum which is the latest curriculum and will be implemented later. Then related to the data sources used are various forms of literature that are certainly related to the theme, be it in the form of books, articles, journals, and other sources of writing on the internet. For the writing itself, the author uses the library study method or library research by searching and collecting relevant data sources, then filtering the sources that have been collected so that the most relevant sources can be found with the theme to be studied or raised, then making conclusions and recording various important things from existing sources, and only then will it be implemented in the form of writing.
