Jurnal ini diberi nama LITERASI, nama tersebut dipilih sebagai upaya untuk tetap menjadikan keterampilan berbahasa sebagai landasan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Seperti sebuah pernyataan “bahasa sebagai penghela ilmu pengetahuan”. Jurnal LITERASI diterbitkan oleh Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah dua kali dalam setahun. Terbitan pertama pada tahun berjalan adalah bulan Januari dan terbitan kedua adalah bulan Juli. Setiap kali terbit, jurnal ini memuat delapan artikel yang mengkaji dan membahasa masalah pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Jurnal ini memuat artikel hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, baik yang ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa asing. Selain secara online jurnal ini juga terbit secara cetak (ISSN 2086-4795). Diharapkan Jurnal ini mampu menjadi media informasi yang kredibel dan berdayaguna.

Abstract

This study explores how the classification of emotions in the twelve styles of Ki Widodo Brotosejati's work according to David Krech's psychology and its relevance to Javanese culture. The approach used is a literary psychology approach with David Krech's emotion classification theory which classifies emotions into four types, including basic emotions (ED), emotions related to stimulus sensors (ESS), emotions related to self-assessment (EPD), and emotions related to others (EO). The research method used is a qualitative method. The researcher collected data using literature study techniques, heuristic reading, and hermeneutics. The results of this study found 24 data in the form of lyric quotations by Ki Widodo Brotosejati. It consisted of 15 basic emotional data, 2 emotional data related to stimulus sensors, 3 emotional data related to self-assessment, and 4 emotional data related to others. The dominant emotion is the basic emotion of sadness which amounted to 8 citation data.

Abstract

This study examines the changes in word forms in slang used on the TikTok social media platform. The analysis shows that the most frequent morphological processes include affixation, reduplication, composition, acronymization, and conversion. Each of these processes produces new variations that increase the non-standard vocabulary of Indonesian, with creative, concise characteristics, and in accordance with the digital culture of the younger generation. Affixation appears in words such as ngakak, reduplication in the form of anjir-anjir, composition in terms such as cosplay, conversion in the word respect and acronymization in abbreviations such as salfok. This phenomenon shows that slang on TikTok not only functions as a means of communication, but also as a medium for expressing social identity in online communities. This finding emphasizes the need to understand the development of language in the digital era as part of the social and cultural dynamics of modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to determini the effect of problem-based learning models on the ability to write descriptive texts of seventh-grade students at SMP IT Ad Durrah Marelan. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consists of two classes: an experimental class that receives treatment and a control class that does not receive treatment. Data collection techniques use multiple-choice tests in the form of student work in writing descriptive texts. Data analysis techniques start with normality tests, homogeneity tests, and then proceed with hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that the data obtained from post-test and pre-test were analyzed using the T-test from two parties, which gave results that students who were given treatment in the learning process using problem-based learning models experienced more improvement compared to those who were not given PBL learning strategies. This can be seen from the calculation results, where the t-count value is 0.95, while the t table value is 2.0089. This proves that the hypothesis test is accepted and there is a difference in writing descriptive texts between students who were given problem lased learning models and those who were not is bold.

Abstract

Indonesian folktales that are full of local wisdom and life values will experience extinction if rewriting is not done. The purpose of this study is to describe the rewriting of Buton folklore “Batu Poaro” as a creative writing strategy. This research is qualitative in nature using the documentation method. Data were collected from various references. The data source of this research is a folktale entitled “Batu Poaro” from Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi (Center for Language Development and Development, Department of Education and Culture, 1998). The technique of writing folklore used is as stated by Rampan, namely (1) how to open the story, (2) lead to excitement, (3) mid-story, (4) climax, and (5) convey the meaning of the story. The result of this research is a folktale 'Batu Poaro' from Buton which was originally in the local language has been rewritten into Indonesian and became an interesting children's reading. The folktale 'Batu Poaro' has been published together with other Buton and Wakatobi folktales by Pustaka Pelajar publisher in 2023 entitled Wa Ode from Wangi-Wangi. Abstract

The phenomenon of a person's existential crisis is becoming increasingly complex in the modern era. Anyone has the right to fight for their existence, including a singer. The purpose of this research is to find the existence of the song album For the World, Love, and Dirty by Nadin Amizah. To deepen the meaning of existence, the researcher uses Soren Kierkegaard's theory of existentialism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data source used by the researcher is in the form of song lyrics on the album. The data collection technique is by studying documents by studying song lyrics to identify aesthetic, ethical, and religious existence. The results of this study show that Nadin describes the three stages of existence in the album of the song Untuk Dunia, Love, and Dirtynya. On an aesthetic level, there is an attitude of freedom without regard for morals. Then, enter the phase of emotional maturity in accordance with responsibility at the ethical stage. Then, it is perfected at the religious stage, that is, surrender to God.

Abstract

Abstract This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data is taken from the words or sentences and expressions included in the images in the poetic anthology book Variasi Kuning Kunyit by the West Java female poet. Through poetry, a poet can express the bad and good things he feels so that every reader can feel the meaning of the poetry he reads. Based on this, the author researched the elements of the image in the poetic anthology book Variasi Kuning Kunyit by the West Java Woman Poet. With the data used of 94 poems belonging to 20 Western Java female poets, 366 image elements were obtained in them with visual and motion images that were more dominant. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and Differentiated Learning on improving critical reasoning in Elementary School (SD) students. PBL is an approach that focuses on solving everyday problems, while differentiated learning is learning that adapts to the needs, interests, and talents of students. The research design used was an experiment with two groups, namely the experimental group that applied PBL and the experimental group that applied differentiated learning. The instrument used to measure students' critical thinking skills before and after learning. A test that tests the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information. The results showed that the combination of PBL and differentiated learning had a great influence in stimulating students' critical reasoning. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the discourse construction of eviction in Pulau Rempang, Riau Islands, as portrayed in the alternative media "Project Multatuli". The analysis is conducted using Halliday's transitivity approach and Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, employing a mixed-method approach (quantitative and qualitative). The research data consists of a news text titled "Mengubur Harapan Warga Rempang: Dulu Dijanjikan Sertifikat, Kini Digusur Demi Investasi Asing". The analysis results show that the text strongly aligns with the Rempang community. Halliday's transitivity analysis reveals the dominance of material processes (21 or 25.30% of findings), illustrating concrete actions of eviction and state violence. Additionally, circumstantial elements of place (196 or 54.44% of findings) indicate that the conflict is not only a social issue but also relates to politics and the struggle for living space. The discourse construction in the news text aligns with the values upheld by "Project Multatuli", namely democracy, humanity, social justice, equal rights, and environmental sustainability. Thus, this study reinforces the role of alternative media in amplifying marginalized voices and constructing resistance discourse against policies perceived as unjust.

Abstract

Film horor seringkali merepresentasikan perempuan sebagai korban atau entitas yang menakutkan, yang melawan ketidakadilan. The Curse of La Llorona dan Marni: The Story of Wewe Gombel menggambarkan perempuan yang mengalami ketidakadilan sosial dan bertransformasi menjadi makhluk supranatural sebagai bentuk perlawanan. Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi perempuan dalam kedua film tersebut melalui pendekatan feminisme radikal MacKinnon untuk memahami posisi perempuan yang tidak memiliki akses keadilan dalam sistem patriarki, serta alternatif yang ditempuh di luar norma hukum. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif-naratif terhadap dialog yang menggambarkan motif dendam perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa La Llorona dan Marni menjadi simbol perlawanan terhadap sistem patriarki, meskipun motif dan cara keduanya berbeda. La Llorona mengalami kehilangan anak akibat pengkhianatan dan stigma sosial, yang memotivasi untuk membalas dengan menculik anak-anak lain. Di sisi lain, Marni mengalami kekerasan seksual dan penghakiman sosial, yang mengarahkannya untuk membunuh pelaku sebelum bertransformasi menjadi Wewe Gombel yang melindungi anak-anak terlantar. Perbedaan tersebut mencerminkan pengaruh mitos dan budaya dalam membentuk ekspresi perlawanan perempuan terhadap ketidakadilan gender.

Abstract

Globalization has influenced cultural values and national identity, leading to the emergence of individualism and cultural intervention. Bersih Desa tradition of Arjowilangun, which embodies Pancasila values, is highly relevant as a means of character education for the younger generation. This study aims to explore the Pancasila values in the Bersih Desa tradition and develop an experiential learning-based model for the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. The findings reveal that Pancasila values, such as divinity, humanity, justice, unity, and democracy, are present in every stage of the Bersih Desa tradition. Additionally, teaching Pancasila values through the RAJADESA field trip model effectively integrates Pancasila with character education. This learning model strengthens students' understanding of national identity, fosters social interaction, and promotes local culture sustainably.
