Abstract

A stunted child has stunted growth due to sustained malnutrition. One of the causes of stunting is the lack of mapping and access to information about healthy lifestyles that support children's growth. This community service activity aims to increase community understanding about stunting prevention. This community service was carried out by the ten-person KKN team of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in Raharja Village, Purwaharja District, Banjar City. Community service activities in Raharja Village include several stages, namely the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The targets of this activity were mothers of infants and toddlers and pregnant women in Raharja Village. The result of this activity was that participants gained a better understanding of the selection of food intake that can help prevent and overcome stunting.Keywords: prevention; stunting; counseling  Abstrak: Seorang anak dengan stunting memiliki pertumbuhan yang terhambat akibat kekurangan gizi yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu penyebab stunting adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan akses informasi tentang pola hidup sehat yang mendukung pertumbuhan anak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pencegahan stunting. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh tim KKN Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang berjumlah sepuluh orang di Desa Raharja, Kecamatan Purwaharja, Kota Banjar. Kegiatan pengabdian di Desa Raharja meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para ibu dari bayi dan balita serta ibu hamil di Desa Raharja. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai pemilihan asupan makanan yang dapat membantu mencegah dan mengatasi stunting.Kata kunci: pencegahan; stunting; penyuluhan

Abstract

The village website is a medium for the disclosure of various public information by the government. In line with this, Sumber Baru village, Seputih Banyak District, Central Lampung has a village website that the government can use as a communication medium for village programs, but its management is still not optimal. The aim of this service is to provide assistance to village operators to manage websites, especially in terms of writing articles, taking photos and managing website interface. The method used in this mentoring activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. This mentoring activity will be carried out in September-October 2023 and consists of 5 stages of mentoring, namely coordination, socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. After completing the mentoring activities, the results of the mentoring can be seen directly on the village website and show that there has been an improvement in website management, such as an increase in the number of news/activities in Sumber Baru Village that are reported on the website. It is hoped that mentoring activities like this will be further increased to improve the quality of village human resources which will have an impact on improving public communication by the village government.            Keywords: mentoring; public communication; village website

Abstract

The issue of bullying has a severe impact on the mental and physical well-being of the victim, with fatal consequences such as severe depression or death. Parental influence is crucial in preventing bullying. Children tend to mimic their parents' attitudes and behaviours. Positive attitudes, empathy and tolerance from parents can encourage children to adopt these values. Parents who are actively involved and open to effective communication help children develop empathy and feel supported, making them more likely to report or seek help in bullying situations. Parents need to understand the psychological and legal aspects of bullying and school violence prevention to protect their children's well-being. Psychological knowledge helps recognise early signs of trauma and provide emotional support, as well as establishing the values of empathy, tolerance and respect in children. Legal knowledge enables parents to take appropriate action if their child is victimised, liaise with schools and authorities, and ensure anti-bullying policies are implemented. This regulation creates a safe and supportive environment for children to grow. Strengthening parents' understanding and knowledge of bullying prevention and its psychological and legal impacts was done through counselling activities. This counselling presented material on the psychological impact of bullying on children and the legal consequences for perpetrators and omission of bullying activities for both children and schools and parents. The counselling sessions were attended by parents, teachers, and school committees. The counselling participants said that after attending the training, their knowledge about bullying, its impact, and preventive measures improved. The results of the questionnaire before and after attending the counselling showed increased participants' understanding. Keywords: bullying; prevention; violence Abstrak: Perundungan dan kekerasan di sekolah berdampak parah pada perkembangan mental dan emosional anak serta mengganggu proses belajar mengajar. Data FSGI, pada periode Januari-Juli 2023 terdapat 16 kasus perundungan dengan 43 korban. Jumlah ini meningkat menjadi 23 kasus pada periode Januari-September 2023, dengan tingkat perundungan tertinggi terjadi di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) yang mencapai 50%, bahkan 2 orang meninggal dunia selama periode tersebut SMP Muhammadiyah Kembaran juga menghadapi masalah ini. Untuk mencegah bullying dan kekerasan, diadakan penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi guna memberikan pemahaman komprehensif dan praktis. Kegiatan ini melibatkan guru dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta tentang dampak negatif bullying dan kekerasan serta pentingnya peran setiap orang dalam pencegahannya, yang terbukti dari hasil kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah sesi penyuluhan.Kata kunci: kekerasan; perundungan; pencegahan

Abstract

SMAN 1 Waru is experiencing rapid development, particularly in this digital era, with its students achieving notable success in sports, science, and arts. However, despite these achievements, the management of such accomplishments remains inadequate, rely-ing on manual systems. Consequently, the collection and recording of student achieve-ment data at SMAN 1 Waru are disorganized and often not up to date. Recognizing this issue, the community service team has developed an information system to manage stu-dent achievement data. This system includes comprehensive training to facilitate the ef-ficient processing of student achievements for both internal and external purposes, such as accreditation. The training session took place on March 28, 2024, at SMAN 1 Waru's computer laboratory and was attended by 35 students, website administrators, and three teachers. The training employed various methods, including lectures, practical exercises, and discussions. All participants demonstrated a clear understanding of the application's usage, as evidenced by their improved pre-test and post-test scores. Statistical analysis using the t-test confirmed the significance of this improvement, indicating that the train-ing effectively enhanced participants' understanding of using the student achievement website. Furthermore, the success of the training is reflected in the records of achieve-ment data inputted by the participants.            Keywords: achievement data; information system; website.

Abstract

The development of entrepreneurship among students has become a priority in higher education in Indonesia to address unemployment, leading Universitas Trilogi to organise the Trilogi Got Business Founder Bootcamp with the theme “Scaling the Future of Business: Sustainable and Responsible Innovation.” The aim of this activity is to provide in-depth understanding and practical skills in key aspects of entrepreneurship, including product development, digital marketing, and financial reporting. The bootcamp employed three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involved scheduling, selecting speakers, and arranging facilities. The implementation stage comprised lectures, discussions, exercises, and case studies delivered by competent experts in their respective fields. The evaluation stage was conducted through questionnaires to assess the success of the event and its impact on participants. The evaluation results showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with the content delivered and the relevance of the activities to their needs. The methods used were effective in enhancing participants' understanding and practical skills in entrepreneurship. Overall, this bootcamp successfully achieved its objectives and made a positive contribution to the development of entrepreneurial capacity among students at Universitas Trilogi. Keywords: bootcamp; digital marketing; entrepreneurship; sustainable innovation; university students  Abstrak: Pengembangan kewirausahaan mahasiswa menjadi prioritas pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia untuk mengatasi pengangguran, mendorong Universitas Trilogi mengadakan Bootcamp Trilogi Got Business Founder dengan tema “Scaling the Future of Business: Sustainable and Responsible Innovation”. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam dan keterampilan praktis dalam aspek-aspek penting kewirausahaan, termasuk pengembangan produk, pemasaran digital, dan pembuatan laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam bootcamp ini mencakup tiga tahap utama: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan melibatkan perencanaan jadwal, pemilihan narasumber, dan penyediaan fasilitas. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi, latihan, dan studi kasus yang dilakukan oleh narasumber berkompeten di bidangnya. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk menilai keberhasilan kegiatan dan dampaknya terhadap peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta merasa puas dengan materi yang disampaikan dan relevansi kegiatan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Metode yang digunakan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis peserta dalam kewirausahaan. Secara keseluruhan, bootcamp ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan kapasitas kewirausahaan di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi. Kata kunci: bootcamp; inovasi berkelanjutan; kewirausahaan; mahasiswa; pemasaran digital

Abstract

Generating quality published articles is one of the lecturers' obligations. This can improve lecturer performance and have an impact on increasing higher education accreditation. However, there are still many lecturer articles published in uncredited journals. Apart from that, there are still many lecturers who do not understand the systematics of writing in accredited national journals. Therefore, the faculty of economics and business, Pekalongan University carries out scientific writing and publication training as well as utilizing the SINTA account to improve lecturer performance. The training was carried out in four stages, namely the initial survey stage, the training material socialization stage, the writing practice stage and utilizing the SINTA account, and the activity evaluation stage. The survey results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of participants who understood the systematics of writing in the SINTA journal from 57% before the training to 91% of the total. Meanwhile, the percentage of participants who were able to utilize the SINTA account also increased from 44% before the training was carried out to 82% after the training was carried out.            Keywords: lecturer performance; reserach; article publication

Abstract

Abstract: Drugs are a physical and mental health problem that has an impact on anxiety disorders, social behavior disorders, depression, lowers consciousness, disrupts quality of life and even causes death. The partner's problem is the lack of education for the young millennial generation in Teluk Kayu Putih Village regarding drug abuse. This service takes place in Teluk Kayu Putih Village, VII Koto District, Tebo Regency, Jambi Province. The aim of this outreach is to increase public awareness about the dangers of drug abuse for the young millennial generation. The material is presented through lecture and discussion methods with the help of power point slides and an LCD projector. The results of the outreach show that the generation of millennial youth in Teluk Kayu Putih Village is aware of the dangers and consequences of drug abuse. Keywords: drugs; millennial young generation  Abstrak: Narkoba merupakan masalah kesehatan fisik dan mental yang berdampak terhadap gangguan kecemasan, gangguan prilaku sosial, depresi, menurunkan kesadaran, mengganggu kualitas hidup bahkan sampai menyebabkan kematian. Permasalah mitra yaitu kurangnya edukasi kepada generasi muda milenial di Desa Teluk Kayu Putih terhadap penyalahgunaan narkoba. Pengabdian ini bertempat di Desa Teluk Kayu Putih, Kecamatan VII Koto, Kabupaten Tebo, Provinsi Jambi. Tujuan penyuluhan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba bagi generasi muda milenial. Materi disampaikan melalui metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan bantuan slide power point dan proyektor LCD. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan bahwa generasi pemuda milenial Desa Teluk Kayu Putih menyadari bahaya dan konsekuensi penyalahgunaan narkoba. Kata kunci: penyalahgunaan narkoba; generasi muda milenial

Abstract

This service examines the necessity and pertinence of adopting a pedagogical approach that incorporates educational game components in order to promote motor development and enhance student engagement in the learning process. On November 18, 2023, this service activity was conducted at UPTD. SD Negeri 014672 Tanjung Alam. This activity is structured into three distinct phases during its execution: preparation, implementation, and practice. Based on empirical findings, engaging in direct interaction with mathematical puzzles has been found to enhance hand-motor coordination, finger dexterity, and precision control during object manipulation. Ninety-five percent of students were extremely interested in this educational game; eighty-five percent felt that math puzzle games improved their fine motor skills (hand and finger movements); and ninety-two percent intend to continue playing math puzzles on other materials in the future, according to the results of the questionnaire assessing the experience of playing with math puzzles. Students' fine motor skills improved significantly as a result of the implementation of this game, it was concluded.

Abstract

Culinary is a very popular business in Indonesian society. This phenomenon has the consequence that the level of business competition becomes tighter, it is means that culinary businesses are always required to innovate to survive in the long run. The main focus of this community service is providing training to culinary business owners to follow dynamic consumer taste trends. This training aims to provide solutions by creating innovation and knowing the latest consumer interests. The approach used in this training is discussion and mapping of partners' challenges, then knowledge assistance and provision are provided. The results of Google Trends training are generally able to make a real contribution to business owners in achieving consumer loyalty. Apart from that, this training increases partners' knowledge in utilizing the Google Trends application to determine product focus and product marketing locations. In particular, it can foster strong self-confidence in partners in using digital business. Keywords: digital marketing; product trends; culinary; innovation.  Abstrak: Kuliner merupakan sebuah bisnis yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Fenomena ini membawa konsekuensi pada tingkat persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat, artinya pelaku usaha kuliner dituntut untuk selalu berinovasi agar dapat bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Fokus utama pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada pemilik usaha kuliner agar dapat mengikuti tren selera konsumen yang dinamis. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi dengan menciptakan inovasi dan mengetahui minat konsumen terkini. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah diskusi dan pemetaan permasalahan mitra, kemudian diberikan pendampingan dan pembekalan pengetahuan. Hasil dari pelatihan Google Trends secara umum mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi pemilik usaha dalam meraih loyalitas konsumen. Selain itu, pelatihan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan digital marketing mitra dalam menentukan fokus produk dan lokasi pemasaran produk. Secara khusus, dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri yang kuat pada mitra dalam menggunakan bisnis digital. Kata kunci: digital pemasaran; tren bisnis; kuliner; inovasi.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) program kemitraan masyarakat ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Swasta Al-Washliyah 80 Kisaran sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan aspek keterampilan berbahasa siswa, agar keterampilan berbahasa mereka lebih meningkat dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi digital. Tujuan dilakukannya PkM ini adalah untuk menciptakan hasil bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan usia anak SD dalam bentuk softcopy dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengajaran, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa siswa SD lebih tertarik belajar membaca, mendengarkan, berbicara dan menulis yang merupakan aspek keterampilan berbahasa berbasis digital.
