Abstract

Indralaya Raya memiliki jumlah penduduk laki-laki sebanyak 7.079 jiwa dan perempuan 3.617 jiwa. Masyarakat Indralaya Raya sebagian besar berprofesi sebagai pedagang. Hal ini berdasarkan lokasi Indralaya Raya yang dekat dengan Pasar Indralaya yang hanya berjarak 3 km dengan waktu tempuh ± 5 menit. Indralaya Raya dialiri oleh Sungai Kelekar. Sungai Kelekar banyak dihuni oleh ikan-ikan lokal salah satunya ikan tambakan. Produksi ikan tambakan dari kegiatan budidaya masih sangat terbatas sehingga perlu dorongan agar masyarakat dapat membudidayakan ikan ini. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pendampingan terhadap masyarakat mengenai teknis budidaya ikan tambakan mulai dari pemeliharaan induk hingga pemeliharaan larva hingga ukuran benih. Kegiatan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat dapat menjadi jembatan yang menghubungkan dengan masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan pendampingan mengenai produksi ikan tambakan masyarakat dapat mandiri secara ekonomi.

Abstract

The narrow marketing reach of organic vegetable products produced by the Mama Romi group is a problem in itself for the Mama Romi group because the vegetables they obtain are traditionally traded to the surrounding community and local traders who come to the location. It is known that the Mama Romi group is still limited in terms of digital marketing knowledge and product photography training, and also limited knowledge and skills in the field of ICT, namely the use of web-based e-commerce applications and WhatsApp e-commerce as a direct communication medium with potential buyers. The method for implementing Community Service activities through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is carried out in 4 stages, namely (1) Preparation Stage; (2) Implementation Stage; (3) Evaluation; (4) Sustainability Program. This PKM activity can help independent partners in the process of developing ICT-based product promotions to the wider community, thereby creating new benefits that have an impact on increasing income.Keywords: organic vegetables; web e-commerce; whatsapp e-commerce

Abstract

Utilization of balakka fruit is a typical fruit of North Padang Lawas Regency which can be used for superior preparations such as balakka fruit dodol. So far, balakka fruit has only been used for balakka syrup and juice. For this reason, community service was created in innovating balakka fruit by processing balakka fruit into balakka fruit dodol based on smart production. The urgency is expected to be used as an effective and efficient solution to increase people's knowledge and skills in processing balakka fruit. This community service activity aims to carry out dissemination and training on smart production-based balakka fruit dodol processing in the community of Padang Garugur Village, North Padang Lawas Regency, so that the community can be more productive with a technological approach. It is hoped that the results of the research will increase community knowledge and skills in processing balakka fruit into dodol based on smart production so that this service activity directly influences community productivity.. Abstract

The Poultry Jaya farmer group is in the city of Kefamenanu, the native chicken farming system of the Jaya Poultry Group is still conventional. One of the main problems faced by this group is the lack of monitoring and controlling the temperature of the cage as well as monitoring the ammonia gas produced by chicken droppings. Temperature and ammonia gas levels have a major impact on chicken growth and health. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to implement Internet of Things (IoT) technology integrated with Android applications. This technology allows automatic and periodic monitoring of cage temperature and ammonia gas levels. Farmers can access information via the Android app and take necessary action if significant changes occur. This community service aims to build tools and systems for automatic temperature control and IoT-based ammonia levels integrated with Android, as well as introducing technology and providing training and assistance to the Unggas Jaya farmer group regarding IoT technology in chicken coop management. With the existence of IoT technology, it is hoped that the behavior patterns of farmers will change to become more modern and efficient. This technology can help improve poultry farming performance, reduce risks, and provide convenience in cage management so that it will bring positive changes to the productivity and welfare of farmers. Keywords: Poultry Jaya farmer group; chicken coop; Internet of Things (IoT)

Abstract

The lack of public awareness and knowledge about technological advances, especially the Village Information System and the use of information and communication technology is the main problem of Pitra Tabanan Village. Most bureaucratic activities in Pitra Village are still carried out conventionally. Villagers continue to use strategic conventions for everything from information dissemination to administration and even data collection. Therefore, we initiated counseling, education, and mentoring programs for Village Information Systems Based on Technology, Information, and Communication. This activity program aims to introduce transparent, effective, and efficient work systems and methods. The people of Pitra Village are increasingly aware of the importance of technological progress as a result of this work program. because it helps and relieves conventional human work. Abstract

Word processing training is really needed by LKP Arvi Com students in understanding Microsoft Office. Students already have basic knowledge about word processing, but there are still many features in the software that they don't know and use in learning at LKP Arvi Com, especially at Mircosoft Office. . The main aim of this service is to improve students' computer skills and work abilities during their PKL period. This training focuses on mastering the basics of Microsoft Office (Word), which is one of the word processing applications commonly used in various work environments. In this service program, PKL students will be given intensive training on various aspects of using Microsoft Office, such as introducing the interface, arranging pages, creating tables, inserting images, using collaboration features, preparing official documents, using styles and templates. By participating in this training, PKL students at LKP Arvi Com will gain improved skills that can increase their added value in the world of work. Apart from that, this community service will also provide positive benefits for LKP Arvi Com by increasing its reputation and contribution to education and training in the local community.            Keywords: microsoft office; PKL; data processing.

Abstract

Politik sebagai aktivitas yang lekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat merupakan kegiatan dalam sistem politik atau negara yang menyangkut proses menentukan arah dan tujuan dari sistem tersebut. Guna melaksanakan kegiatan perpolitikan yang baik, dibutuhkan arahan dan bimbingan dari orang yang memiliki kapabilitas di bidang tersebut. Sehingga, peran pendidikan mutlak dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan atas cita-cita sistem pemerintahan. Pada pengabdian ini dilakukan edukasi mengenai Pemilihan Umum Serentak Tahun 2024 kepada pemilihPemula di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 8 Kabupaten Sijunjung. Metode yang digunakan ceramah-diskusi, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), Discovery Learning dan Simulasi. Pada akhir sesi dilakukan evaluasi yang berguna mengetahui pemahaman siswa mengenai Politik dan Pemilu Serentak 2024.

Abstract

Kinematika adalah cabang ilmu fisika yang fokus pada pemahaman gerakan benda, tanpa mempertimbangkan gaya yang berpengaruh padanya. Hal ini sering menjadi materi yang rumit bagi siswa di tingkat SMA, karena memerlukan pemahaman tentang konsep-konsep seperti kecepatan, percepatan, waktu, jarak, dan hubungan antara mereka. Universitas Andalas memiliki Program Studi S1 Fisika di bawah Departemen Fisika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Setiap semster Departemen Fisika selalu mengadakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan salah satu Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Salah satu pengabdian yang rutin dilakukan Departemen Fisika setiap semester adalah membina SMA di lingkungan Sumatera Barat. Pengabdian tentang pengayaan konsep kinematika di SMA dapat menjadi salah satu upaya yang sangat penting untuk membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan dalam memahami konsep kinematika.  Pengabdian ini melibatkan mitra SMA N 1 Gunung Talang yang berada di Kabupaten Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang Konsep Kinematika di SMAN 1 Gunung Talang. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, kegiatan inti yaitu penyampaian materi dan evaluasi proses pengabdian. Hasil menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang materi kinematika berdasarkan pembandingan hasil pre-test dan post test yaitu sebesar 33,3 %.

Abstract

the average prevalence of hypertension in indonesia is 31.7%; by 2025, the proportion of hypertensive patients is projected to increase to 24% in developed countries and 80% in developing countries. prevention and monitoring of hypertension can be done through community health centers or the posyandu program. participants providing community service are characterized by staff who supervise people with hypertension, the most common disease. this service is carried out through active lectures and discussions with participants. the activities show that cadres already know about hypertension and know how to prevent complications and how cadres regularly measure blood pressure independently. therefore, there is a need for creative health promotion initiatives and targeting the right people/groups so that better changes can be made in the future.keywords: blood pressure; cadre; hypertension; skills; knowledge.

Abstract

Community Service is a form of activity with research content that places students outside the campus and invites students to think critically so that they can help develop potential in the community with the help of lecturers in solving solutions. Buruan Village, located in Tabanan-Bali Regency, has classic problems in the management of inorganic and organic waste. A waste management system that utilizes vacant land is an option because of the unavailability of waste management methods. The dedication carried out then made a program carried out in Buruan Village in the form of making biopores, recycling plastic or inorganic waste into crafts that are of selling value, and the introduction of the Waste Bank for the community is a form of education to the community in Buruan Village and also for elementary school children to improve students' knowledge and skills in managing plastic waste into source-based waste.            Keywords: organic and inorganic waste; waste bank; waste recycling
