Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan informasi kepada warga desa sucenjurutengah tentang akan pentingnya memahami karakteristik dan multipple guru yang konstruktif dan membantu guru untuk dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam mengajar. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan mendapat respon yang positif dari para peserta. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya keinginan dari para peserta agar kegiatan ini dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini semangat para warga dalam mendampingi dan mendidik anak usia dini secara tepat sesuai dengan karekteristiknya dan sesuai dengan kecerdasan yang dimiliki anak. Harapannya ketika orang tua sudah memahami karakteristik perkembangan anak anak usia dini dan ragam multiple intelegensi yang dimiliki anakusia dini, maka anak akan berkembang dengan optimal sesuai dengan kecerdasan yang dimiliknya

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik dan literasi guru berorientasi pembalajar sepanjang hayat melalui gerakan literasi berbasis kecerdasan majemuk. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah (1) memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya pembelajar sepanjang hayat menggunakan literasi berbasis kecerdasan majemuk; (2) melakukan simulasi kegiatan pembelajar sepanjang hayat menggunakan literasi berbasis kecerdasan majemuk; dan (3) melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh 42 guru dan 9 kepala SD/MI se-Kecamatan Padureso, Kebumen. Sebagian besar peserta telah memahami dan tiga peserta bahkan telah mempraktikkan gerakan literasi berbasis kecerdasan majemuk untuk pembelajar sepanjang hayat.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan kepada para perangkat desa di Desa Loning tentang penggunaan bahasa Indonesia.Penyuluhan ini perlu dilakukan karena kemampuan pengetahuan surat yang masih terbatas. Untuk itu program pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan penyuluhan surat dinasadalah cara yang ditempuh untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah Metode ini dipilih untuk menyampaikan konsep-konsep yangpenting untuk dimengerti dan dikuasai oleh peserta pelatihan. Penggunaan metode ini dengan pertimbangan bahwa metode ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan gambar-gambar dapat memberikan materi yang relatif banyak secara padat, cepat dan mudah. Materi yang diberikan meliputi: pengertian dan manfaat surat dinas, tujuan menulis surat dinas danbentuk-bentuk surat dinas, aneka surat statuta, dan bagian-bagian surat. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Februari 2017, diikuti oleh 41 peserta. Target dari kegiatan iniadalah secara bertahap dihasilkan kemampuan menulis surat dinas sesuai kaidah bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Dari hasil penyuluhan tersebut didapatkan pengetahuan,pemahaman peserta penyuluhan lebih baik dari sebelum pengajaran yang dilakukan. Para peserta penyuluhan mampu menulis surat dinas sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia yang tepat. Selanjutnya, luaran yang didapatkan melalui kegiatan ini berupa jurnal pengabdian masyarakat. Keinginan masyarakat terutama penulisan surat dinas seperti ini masih jarang. Manfaat utama diperoleh adalah pengetahuan praktis yang dapat diterapkan lansung dalam penulisan surat dinas sebagai salah satu administrasi desa. Kegiatan yang bersifatpengetahuan praktis dirasa perlu sehingga seharusnya ditingkatkan pada waktu yang akan datang.

Abstract

The study aims at giving training to improve the English teachers’ skill of SMP in Purworejo Regency, especially in related to TOEFL based-test. In accordance to the aims, the method used wasby giving intensif training combined with the theories, practice, and discussion. It also used the trainee’s performance (post-test) at the end of the training as the indicator of their improvement. The result of the training revealed that the TOEFL based-English training became one of the ways to improve the English teachers’ skill. The teachers can get beneficial knowledge about the underlyingtheory, principles, and strategies in doing TOEFL test indicated by the result of their post-test, and improvement in their general English skills. Besides, the result of the training can be applied asconsideration to take schools’ policies related to their English teachers’ quality.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to facilitate teachers in mastering digital-based Active Learning learning. The method in community service activities uses the mentoring method. Based on the results achieved in the Active Learning assistance activities consisted of three things with the following explanation. First, increasing participants' insights on innovation in learning. This can be seen in the way learning has been done by trainees using the Active Learning approach, so that the realization of active, fun, and innovative learning is realized. Second, foster curiosity about technological innovation. The realization of the attitude of participants who always try various digital applications that can support the learning process. Third, provide direct learning experiences to participants. The learning experience was directly felt by the participants with the practical activities of the Active Learning approach that collaborates with digital applications. The purpose of learning activities using the Active Learning approach makes it easy for students to understand learning material so that learning becomes fun. Participation of partners in the implementation of community service programs includes providing a place in the form of Mranti 2 Elementary School building, providing facilities such as mic, sound, seating, LCD, computer, and food banquets, and participants who are enthusiastic in participating in community service activities.

Abstract

The purpose of activity is to provide community knowledge about the maintenance and repair of injection motorcycle, and developing the skills and creativity. these activities are related to automotive. The object is automotive community service; teenager, youth in Pundensari with 19 participants. The problem is to solve three stages; preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In preparation phase, the problem is carried out by analyzing the problem and need. The second stage, implementation, it is divided into several sessions; opening, coaching of brief theory, and interactive discussion. The method is the coaching material about how to maintain and repair injection motorcycles by discussions, interactive discussion about problems in injection motorcycle. The third is evaluation by listening the audience. The results can be described in the following indicators: 1) The implementation is conducive, good, and smooth, 2) Based on the result of feedback from the participants, it is found that this activity is needed by the participants as well. It is important and economic because of the long distance from Pundensari the official center of service and maintenance both Honda and Yamaha, 3) Participants got new knowledge about how to care and repair Injection motorcycle.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service activity include 1) Implementing and applying Word, PowerPoint, and Excel programs to the community of Sukowuwuh, Bener, Purworejo villages, 2) Knowing the response of youth groups and Sukowuwuh Village Devices, Bener Purworejo. The Target of Community Service is Youth Organization and Sukowuwuh Village Apparatus. In computer training provided using the Sukowuwuh Village Hall. The training material is in the form of computer introduction, word processing using Microsoft Word, making presentations using PowerPoint, and introduction to Excel. The results of the implementation of this activity include: 1) Youth and Village can apply computers for correspondence in Youth and can design home-made food products in Sukowuwuh Village, Bener Sub-District, Purworejo District, 2) Community response is very positive and will apply knowledge owned for purposes in the village and accountant.

Abstract

Coffee is one drink that is very popular with people in the world. Coffee produced and consumed by the Rembang public is called Kopi Lelet. Lelet coffee is typical Rembang coffee. Lelet coffee is identical to the activity of nglelet with the media of cigarettes and the ink uses lethekan (pulp) lelet coffee. SMEs that produce lelet coffee is Cap Cangkir and Cap Leo Lelet coffee. However, both SMEs have obstacles in developing their business, namely: 1) Limited insight and knowledge about management and entrepreneurship owned by Kopi Lelet SMEs; 2) The production process is still manual, not using a machine so the production results are still limited; 3) Marketing areas are still limited in Rembang Regency and conventional with still simple packaging; 4) Financial management is not good, income is still used for daily needs; and 5) Limited capital owned by partner coffee lelet SMEs, especially for the procurement of production equipment. To overcome these problems, the team undertook the following activities: 1) Conducting entrepreneurship training and business management; 2) Facilitating the procurement of coffee grinding machines and packaging presses; 3) Facilitating the procurement of product packaging with attractive designs; and 4) Business assistance for Kopi Lelet SMEs partner especially recording business transactions. The results of these community service activities are: 1) Lelet coffee partners SMEs can implement good business management; 2) Availability of coffee grinders and packaging presses; 3) Availability of attractive product packaging; and 4) Lelet coffee partner SMEs already has a simple bookkeeping.

Abstract

One of the problems in developing teacher professionalism today is related to the problem of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this activity is to provide training on writing Classroom Action Research (CAR). The training was attended by 25 teachers in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The method used is 1) providing theoretical and practical knowledge about the integration of Classroom Action Research (CAR), 2) Providing material about data analysis and discussion in Classroom Action Research, 3) Viewing the responses of Classroom Action Research training participants.
