Abstract

Language skills have four components, namely listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill, and writing skill. The four skills are closely related. Students must learn these four skills. If students cannot master these four components of language properly and correctly, it will affect their language skills as well. Writing skills are especially important today (Puspita, 2017). Teaching writing requires the most talent and continuous practice. It is no less important than listening, reading, and speaking skills. Writing is a productive skill (Helaluddin & Awalludin, 2020). This means a person's writing skills can be well developed if continually honed and trained.Writing skills are a skill that is used to communicate indirectly, not face-to-face with others (Helaluddin & Awalludin, 2020).  Meanwhile, there is another opinion that writing is a productive skill using writing (Helaluddin & Awalludin, 2020).  Writing is said to be the most complicated language skill. This is because writing is copying words and sentences and developing thoughts in an orderly writing structure.Learning writing skills at MA PP Nurul Huda Kulim Jaya, especially class X students in the second semester of the new teaching, namely writing narrative texts. A narrative text is a story essay presenting a series of events arranged chronologically according to the time sequence (Helaluddin & Awalludin, 2020).  The event can happen, but it can also be imaginary. Generally, essays or narrative texts aim to entertain readers with aesthetic experiences through stories, both fiction and nonfiction. It can be seen that students have low skills in writing narrative texts. The above situation may be influenced by the methods used so far. For this reason, researchers try to apply one of the other learning methods to create fun learning, of course, with fun methods.

Abstract

Abstract: Staffing supervision is crucial in human resource management to improve organizational performance. This article evaluates the effectiveness of using personnel supervision instruments through a literature review. Supervision instruments, such as performance appraisal forms, interviews, and direct observations, have been proven to provide objective information about employee performance and support appropriate decision-making. This study shows that systematic supervision improves employee motivation and performance and creates deep job satisfaction. However, implementing supervision faces challenges such as a lack of supervisor training, employee resistance, and limited resources. With this analysis, the article recommends improving supervisor training, supporting organizational policies, and integrating technology into the supervision process. This strategy is expected to maximize the positive impact of supervision on individual and organizational performance. Keywords: personnel supervision, organizational performance, supervision instruments, human resource management, job satisfaction.

Abstract

Oil palm plantations in Indonesia have reached 14,326,350, which is already a large oil palm plantation. However, because there are too many oil palm plantations and they are no longer monitored from the field, therefore there are often fires and CO2 emissions during the dry season in oil palm plantations which spread very quickly to other oil palm plantations and are very detrimental to owners and dangerous for oil palm plantation workers. Therefore, a tool is needed to monitor CO2 emissions and fires in oil palm plantations using LoRa which is connected to an application on a cellphone so that it is easy to monitor if a fire occurs, and for measuring the voltage, the tool used is a battery with a measurement of 8.58 Volt, NodeMCU 3.34 Volt, LoRa 3.28Volt, MQ-02 5Volt, KY-096 5Volr.Key Words: Solar Power, Electrical Energy, Monitoring, ESP 32

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to provide an explanation of the conception of the Judicial Commission Regulation; whether it falls into the category of legislation or not. Linearly, as a logical consequence of the hierarchical nature of the legislative system, where is the location/position of the Judicial Commission Regulation when analysing its content. This issue arises because the Judicial Commission Regulation does not explicitly appear in the hierarchy of laws and regulations. Therefore, it has implications for what judicial institution has the authority to test the material validity of the Judicial Commission Regulation if it conflicts with the laws and regulations above it. To unravel these legal issues, normative research is used through conceptual approaches and legislation. The data used is secondary data which includes primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Analysis of the data will be presented descriptively qualitatively through the content analysis method. The results of this research found that (1) theoretically, the Judicial Commission Regulation is not included in the category of laws and regulations but falls into the category of internal regulations, but because it is ordered to be formed by law, it is considered to be included in the category of laws and regulations (2) the Judicial Commission Regulation can be equated with the Presidential Regulation in terms of content, so it is equal to the Presidential Regulation in the hierarchical construction of laws and regulations, (3) the Supreme Court is the institution that has the authority to materially examine the Judicial Commission Regulation. This research recommends that improvements should be made by issuing Judicial Commission Regulations that are no longer considered laws and regulations, but rather internal regulations. Abstract

This study explores the legal review of the handling of premeditated murder cases accompanied by theft, as well as the considerations made by judges when imposing sentences on perpetrators. This criminal act is a serious offense that not only harms the victim but also has widespread implications for society, undermining public safety and trust in the legal system. Through an analysis of Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder and Article 365, paragraph 3 regarding theft with violence, it is found that both articles provide a crucial legal foundation for addressing this issue. A firm and consistent law enforcement approach is necessary to create a deterrent effect and prevent the recurrence of similar crimes in the future. In this study, the author also evaluates that the considerations made by the panel of judges in ruling No. 160/PID.B/2023/PN.SON comply with applicable legal standards. This finding is based on testimonies from witnesses and the defendant indicating that the defendant can be held accountable for their actions, although they were intoxicated at the time. The recommendations provided in this study emphasize that the Public Prosecutor should be more meticulous and careful in drafting the indictment, paying attention to the intent or mental state of the defendant in committing the crime. This intent should not only be based on the defendant's admission but also assessed based on the manner in which the perpetrator committed the criminal act. Keywords : Premeditated Murder,Theft,Law Enforcement,Evidence,Sentencing

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of entrepreneurship within vocational technology education in Indonesia, focusing on current conditions, challenges, opportunities, effective integration models, and their impacts on graduates. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining literature review, observation, and in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings reveal that while most vocational technology institutions have incorporated entrepreneurship, the approaches remain predominantly theoretical and lack comprehensive integration. Key challenges include curriculum design, resource limitations, and stakeholder mindsets. On the other hand, opportunities arise from government policy support, industry collaboration, and digital technology-driven learning innovations. An effective entrepreneurship integration model requires a holistic curriculum, innovative teaching methods, strategic collaboration, resource management, and mindset transformation. Effective entrepreneurship integration positively impacts technical and entrepreneurial competencies, entrepreneurial motivation, adaptability, economic contributions, and graduates' career success. Keywords: entrepreneurship integration, vocational technology education, challenges, opportunities, integration model, graduate impact

Abstract

There are still issues in society with the breastfeeding mother culture of dietary restriction. Despite its strong cultural beliefs, it is undeniable that this culture of food limitation may reduce the amount of nutrients that nursing moms need to consume. The purpose of the study is to use a type of case-control time survey approach to ascertain whether sociocultural factors have an impact on the nourishment provided to nursing mothers at Posyandu Melati Cilacap. Thirty-two breastfeeding women made up the study sample. A cross-sectional strategy is used in this quantitative study with a descriptive correlation research design. While Chi Square is used for data analysis and product moment correlation calculations are used for the validity test, Cronbach's Alpha is used for the reliability test. The findings of the chi square test, which yielded a p value (0.029) < 0.05, demonstrated that social culture had an impact on Posyandu Melati Cilacap's breastfeeding moms' access to nourishment. 2,046 breastfeeding mothers at Posyandu Melati have a strong correlation between social culture and nutrition. Based on research findings and recommendations, breastfeeding mothers are strongly encouraged to eat a healthy diet; there are no dietary restrictions because the mother's food intake has a significant impact on the production of breast milk. Keywords: Socio-Cultural, Nutrition, Breastfeeding Mothers
