Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of elementary schools holding Al-Qur'an or TPQ learning activities because of the interests of the parents who want children at school to also be taught to read the Al-Qur'an, so with this the researcher wants to describe learning activities to read the Koran using the Ummi method at SDI Plus Ulul Albab. The research method in this research is qualitative research which uses observation, documentation and interview data collection.The results of the research show that the reading ability of SDI Plus Ulul Alab students has developed very well, where this achievement can be seen from student development data, namely through student achievement cards and journals. The implementation involves several stages including opening, apperception, concept planting, training/skills, closing. The inhibiting factors are limited teaching aids, lack of administrative staff, the implementation time is too late in the day and the supporting factors are the existence of adequate classrooms, the availability of teaching guidebooks from the center, demonstration books to facilitate learning completion, the teaching staff are Ummi certified Keywords: Ummi Method, Reading Ability

Abstract

This research discusses about the Implementation of non-curriculum education to strengthen formal education role at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Gondangrejo. Non-curriculum education here includes various extracurricular activities, moral formation, and development of additional skills carried out at school. The focus of this research is to understand how non-curriculum education is integrated in the context of formal and non-formal educational institutions, with an emphasis on its role and impact on student development. The method used in this research is through data collection techniques, observation and interviews, which were carried out using a qualitative phenomenological approach. The objects of this research are school principals, teachers, student guardians and students at MTs. The sources used are data from data collection and interviews. The results of this research show that the implementation of non-curriculum education in the formation of morals is with planned program strategies, such as study of climbing heaven, student of the moon, parenting every 3 months, reading and writing the Qur'an (BTA), Murottal Qur'an and Asmaul Husna Before Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), Dhuha prayers, and Guidance During the Ceremony by Outside Figures. Apart from that, it also provides good examples regarding morals to students, and provides advice to students regarding morals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Philanthropic Movement in improving the accessibility of Islamic education in Banten province, especially Jambu Karya Village, Tangerang Regency. This research uses an observational approach where researchers make direct observations of the learning process and education system in madrasas, mosques, or other Islamic education institutions in Jambu Karya Village. Based on direct observations made by researchers, it is known that one of the philanthropic movements that helps the availability of teaching materials is beyond the costs obtained from the government such as BOS funds or waqf or philanthropic institutions such as Dompet Duafa or Baznas is the habit of infaq for students, teachers and staff at one of the Jambu Karya Village schools, namely MTS Al Maghfiroh every Friday morning. In addition, one of the Indonesian Literacy School philanthropic organizations also helped in terms of coaching activities for local teachers, especially in Jambu Karya Village. Thus, teacher training, supporting innovative teaching methods and better resources are needed to create a better learning environment. Efforts to improve access to Islamic education in the village include financial donations, material assistance and additional training for teachers, with impact evaluation and more in-depth analysis as suggestions for future research

Abstract

The discourse on Islamic educational philosophy has its roots in the integration of Greek reasoning with Islamic thought, giving rise to prominent Muslim philosophers. This study examines the philosophical perspectives of Imam Abu Bakar Al-Razi and Imam Ibn Bajjah on education, focusing on their contributions and relevance in modern and non-modern contexts. Both figures, known for their intellectual legacies in philosophy and science, have provided unique insights into the interplay between reason, religion, and human development. This qualitative study employs a library research approach, utilizing data from books, journals, and scholarly articles relevant to the educational philosophies of Al-Razi and Ibn Bajjah. Data were analyzed descriptively to identify their educational principles and their broader implications for contemporary educational practices. The findings reveal that Al-Razi emphasizes the role of reason and naturalism in education, advocating for a balance between intellect and spiritual growth. His "Five Eternal Principles" (al-Mabadi' al-Qadimah al-Khamsah) underline the integration of divine, material, and rational dimensions in human development. Meanwhile, Ibn Bajjah offers profound insights into individual intellectual growth through his concepts of 'uzlah (solitude) and the development of reason ('aql) as a means to achieve human perfection. His metaphysical and ethical frameworks highlight the necessity of aligning education with the innate potential of the soul, fostering intellectual independence and moral rectitude. The study concludes that the philosophies of Al-Razi and Ibn Bajjah remain pertinent in addressing contemporary educational challenges. Al-Razi’s emphasis on reason and naturalism aligns with modern scientific inquiry, while Ibn Bajjah’s advocacy for intellectual autonomy resonates with the need for critical thinking in education. The implications of their thought encourage a holistic educational approach that bridges traditional wisdom and modern methodologies

Abstract

Currently, the West is the world's reference in the field of science and technology. The Western world did not suddenly find its glory as it is today, but it all went through a very long process until it met the works of several great Islamic figures. This long process involved two great Islamic figures such as Ibnu Sina and Ibnu Rusyd. In this article the author will discuss the process of development of modern science in the West and will also review the magnitude of the influence Ibn Sina and Ibn Rusyd on the Western world. Without these two figures, perhaps the Western world would not have found its glory in the field of science. In this research, readers will find answers to questions 1) What is the role of Ibn Rushd and Ibn Sina in the development of modern science? 2) What is the epistemological relationship between the thoughts of Ibn Rushd, Ibn Sina and Modern science? 3) What are the thoughts and works of Ibn Rushd and Ibn Sina? This research uses qualitative methods with analytical descriptive characteristics.

Abstract

Every human life, anytime and anywhere, will inevitably involve conflicts. These conflicts arise due to differences in opinions and feelings, cultural variations, interests, and social changes. These differences give rise to various conflicts worldwide, including political conflicts, racial conflicts, religious conflicts, mental conflicts, and more. In the Quran, there are broadly three types of conflicts, namely family conflicts, religious conflicts, and ethnic conflicts. Many of these conflicts are the stories of past communities with their prophets, from Prophet Adam to Prophet Muhammad. In every conflict narrated in the Quran, Allah hints at different ways of resolution, always concluding with guidance to settle disputes peacefully (ash-shulh), through consultation, negotiation, and other means. This emphasizes that no conflict is impossible if both parties have good intentions and goodwill. The ultimate goal is to achieve peace, justice, and harmony within society and among individuals. This research employs a library research method, which falls under content analysis. The author adopts a qualitative approach drawing from classical, medieval, and contemporary exegesis. The findings reveal that the interpretation of Surah Al-Hujurat verses 9-10 instructs two conflicting groups of believers to reconcile by seeking common ground toward a fair agreement. Allah also emphasizes that peace should take precedence in tumultuous conflicts.

Abstract

Dalam Al-Qur’an dijelaskan perbedaan laki-laki dan Perempuan, bukan pembedaan. Perbedaan maksudnya adalah dalam hal kondisi fisik dan biologis Topik pembedaan antara laki-laki dan Perempuan selalu menjadi tema yang menarik untuk dibahas dan kemudian masyhur disebut kajian gender, karena memang sudah sangat membudaya bias gender yang berlandaskan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Tetapi, nyatanya Al-Qur’an menyetarakan posisi laki-laki dan Perempuan baik dari sisi sebagai hamba Allah maupun sebagai makhluk sosial. Selain itu, banyak ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang menyebut laki-laki dan Perempuan dalam satu khitab. Sehingga dapat dipahami bahwa Al-Qur’an memposisikan laki-laki dan Perempuan secara berimbang dan setara, hal ini dikuatkan oleh ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang secara konteks menjelaskan tentang kepemimpinan Perempuan, di antaranya adalah Qs. An-Naml ayat 34, Qs. Al-Baqarah: 30, Qs. Al-Mumtahanah: 12, Qs. At-Taubah: 71 serta Qs. An-Nisa’ ayat 58. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian library research dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis yang menghasilkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa Al-Qur’an memberikan peluang Perempuan untuk menjadi pemimpin karena secara naluri Perempuan-pun mempunyai potensi yang sama dengan laki-laki. Sehingga keemimpinan Perempuan dalam Al-Qur’an mencerminkan adanya kesetaraan antara laki-laki dan Perempuan.Kata Kunci: Kesetaraan Gender, Kepemimpinan Perempuan, Ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an

Abstract

This study discusses teacher strategies for learning Islamic religious education in children with special needs (case studies in SMPLB Negeri Cerme). This study aims to find out the teacher's strategy for learning Islamic religious education in mentally retarded children in Cerme State Middle School and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning Strategies in Tabenagrahita Children in Cerme State Middle School. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques using Milles and Huberman theories, namely data reduction, data presentation, data validity, and drawing conclusions, The results of this study indicate that the strategy implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in Cerme State Middle School for children with Tabenagrahita is a discovery learning strategy. Learning with Discovery Learning strategies is centered on students and educators only as a companion and helps students if they find difficulties during the learning process. Discovery learning strategies make students active learners because educators provide the opportunity to ask questions, argue, and find their own answers to a problem. As seen in the learning steps of discovery learning that have been carried out by educators in the learning process, which starts with stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization, Of course, in the application of learning strategies, there are supporting and inhibiting factors, as follows: supporting factors, interests, and motivation of educators, as well as the communication of teachers and parents of students. Inhibiting factors, concentration of learning, obstructing language development, the condition of mental retardation, children who are easy to forget, and educators are not graduates of extraordinary education.

Abstract

The curriculum in Islamic education has a central role in shaping the character, morality and spirituality of individuals. In the perspective of Islamic Philosophy of Education, the concept of tawhid-based curriculum, in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, shows the urgency of integrating tawhid values in every aspect of learning. The main focus of this concept is to introduce, explore, and apply the concept of the oneness of God in education. The Qur'an and Hadith become the main philosophical foundation that guides curriculum development, emphasizing that tawhid is not only an aspect of belief, but also the foundation for the formation of a moral and spiritually strong character. Through this approach, tawhid-based Islamic education not only teaches academic knowledge, but also leads to a holistic transformation of students' lives. The curriculum emphasizes the importance of developing spiritual, critical and analytical skills in understanding Islamic teachings, while guiding students to apply the values of tawhid in the context of everyday life. Thus, the concept of tawhid-based curriculum in the perspective of Islamic Philosophy of Education provides a strong foundation to form individuals who are faithful, noble, and able to apply Islamic teachings in their lives.

Abstract

An interpretation will be influenced by the mufassir, where the character of the mufassir is also influenced by his life background and education. If a mufassir has brought a certain understanding, then a mufassir like this will never be able to follow the guidance of the Al-Qur'an. In fact, he will try to force the Koran to follow his understanding even if it is wrong. The most important thing for the interpreter is to adhere firmly to the rules of interpretation so that they are in line with the message and objectives of the Al-Qur'an. This research examines the issue of gender equality in prayer prayers with a focus on the interpretation of Panji Gumilang regarding the equalization of prayer prayers between men and women. This research aims to understand the concept of gender equality in the Al-Quran and criticize the interpretation of Panji Gumilang from the perspective of Munir's interpretation. The research method used is qualitative, by collecting data from Al-Quran commentary books, related books, opinions of commentators, and other relevant sources. Data analysis was carried out using the tafsir tahlili method which explores aspects of the verses of the Al-Qur'an and explains their meaning according to the views of the interpreter who interprets the verse. It is hoped that this research will provide deeper insight into gender equality in the context of prayers based on the Al-Qur'an.
