Abstract

Writing is an extremely complex cognitive activity in which the writer is required to demonstrate control of variables simultaneously. This research aimed to investigate whether there was a significant difference of students’ writing achievement before and after being taught through students’ learning style. Since the students of Islamic Senior High School in Sekayu still found it very difficult to do. The sample of the research was eleventh grade student. The research was conducted by applying quasi-experimental factorial research. Non-randomized sampling technique was applied in this research. Modality Test Questioners from Neil Fleming was applied to determine students’ learning styles. The sample was 62 students of science students. In terms of pretest – posttest non- equivalent group design. The Mean of posttest’s score was higher than pre-test. It means that there is an increase of students’ writing’s achievement after being taught through their styles in learning. Abstract

MonsterMAC berspesialisasi dalam teknologi integrator sistem tertanam, Internet of Things (IoT), vending machines, dan teknologi militer. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena penulis ingin menunjukkan hasil kinerja website MonsterMAC berdasarkan SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) dan Google Analytics dalam strategi pemasarannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan tinjauan pustaka. Digital marketing merupakan metode baru untuk meningkatkan pelanggan, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan teknik SEO, optimasi website melalui SEO memiliki dua komponen: optimasi on-page dan optimasi off-page. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung dan mempengaruhi penjualan produk dan layanan. Temuan ini mungkin menjelaskan mengapa situs web MonsterMAC tidak menempati peringkat pertama di halaman Google.

Abstract

Monster Augmented Reality, juga dikenal sebagai MonsterAR adalah perusahaan yang berspesialisasi dalam Hi-Technology Marketing dan Branding Development. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dari penggunaan Sosial Media Instagram MonsterAR sebagai elemen utama dalam strategi pemasaran Digital Marketing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif berupa pengumpulan data dengan tinjauan pustaka. Dengan hadirnya strategi Digital Marketing yang memberi kemudahan bagi pelaku bisnis untuk memasarkan dan mempromosikan produk atau jasanya seperti penjualan, promosi, pelayanan dan edukasi. Dari hasil akhir penelitian ini mungkin dapat menjelaskan mengapa pemanfaatan sosial media dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran sehingga dapat menjangkau semua konsumen yang diinginkan dan memengaruhi hasil penjualan produk.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini membahas perancangan Antenna Tuning Unit (ATU) Simulator pada peralatan Non Directional Beacon (NDB) yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk praktek pengukuran parameter Forward Power, Reflected Power dan VSWR di laboratorium program studi Teknik Navigasi Udara, Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. ATU yang dirancang menggunakan loading coil dan antenna simulator. Loading coil bersifat induktif yang terdiri dari 6 posisi course tuning, 9 posisi fine tuning, serta rotatable inner tuning yang dapat diputar 360°. Sedangkan antenna simulator terdiri dari dummy load RF 12.5 - 50 ohm dan rangkaian seri-paralel capacitor yang berfungsi sebagai penyesuai impedansi yang bersifat capacitif. Kinerja rancangan ATU Simulator disimulasikan dan diukur pada range frekuensi NDB yaitu 190 KHz – 535 KHz serta diujicoba pada peralatan NDB merk ND200S dengan frekuensi 282 KHz dengan power output 50 Watt. Hasil simulasi dan pengukuran pabrikasi menunjukkan bahwa ATU Simulator dapat bekerja pada frekuensi batas bawah 190 KHz, frekuensi tengah 360 KHz dan frekuensi atas 535 KHz dapat memenuhi standar spesifikasi perancangan VSWR ≤ 1.5 dan return loss ≤ -14 dB. Pada ujicoba pemakaian ATU Simulator pada peralatan NDB, menunjukkan hasil pengukuran nilai reflected power dibawah 5 % dengan forward powernya sehingga dapat diketahui nilai VSWR masih memenuhi persyaratan ≤ 1,5.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze antennas' characteristics at a frequency of 2.2 GHz, including the value of return loss, VSWR, gain, bandwidth, surface current, and radiation pattern. The antenna characteristics have been designed using simulations made with FR-4 substrates with a dielectric constant ε_r= 4.3 and substrate thickness (h) = 1.6 mm and copper patches with a patch thickness of 0.035 mm. Single antennas are made first to get the desired parameters, then continue to make 1x2 and 1x4 antenna arrays. The feeding antenna array is arranged using the Wilkinson power divider technique on the side of the patch. Antenna array planning aims to increase the antenna gain value as well as the antenna directivity value. From the simulation results, successive values were obtained starting from a single antenna, a 1x2 antenna array, and a 1x4 antenna array which included return loss of -22 dB, 25.9 dB, and -15.3 dB. Swr values are 1.1,1.1,1,1.4 each. The gain values are 3.38 dB, 5.52 dB, 7.84 dB, respectively. Antenna bandwidth is obtained by 100 MHz, 400 MHz, and 200MHz. The angular width obtained is 99.40, 92.20, and 80.20.

Abstract

Changes in one's thinking about entrepreneurship tend to be influenced by factors of interest and readiness; job seekers become job creators. The mindset paradigm of the cadets/cadets of the Vocational School of Transportation in Indonesia is attached to the official pattern; ready to work immediately after graduation. However, empiricism shows that cadet graduates are faced with the opposite conditions. This course is designed to provide knowledge, skills and abilities to cadets regarding the development of entrepreneurial concepts, the role of creativity, innovation and various intelligences in entrepreneurship as well as matters related to preparation for become entrepreneurs Under these conditions, graduates are required to have other abilities in order to be able to compete in the world of work, for example the ability to become entrepreneurs. The role of educators is needed to change the mindset of graduates with job seekers to become job creators. To achieve this goal, the role of education is needed through the development of an entrepreneurship curriculum. Based on the research results, it will contribute directly to the preparation of the entrepreneurship education learning curriculum at the Air Transportation Vocational School. Thus, the practical implications related to the findings of this research are its application at the policy and operational levels and the authors contribute to preparing Air Transportation Vocational School graduates capable of entrepreneurship as a career alternative to compete in the world of work.

Abstract

Microstrip antennas are antennas that are often applied because of their simple structure and easy to apply. The purpose of the experiment was to design and analyze the results of microstrip antennas in CST applications with a frequency of 10.5 GHz. Experiments used single patch antennas, 1 x 2 arrays using 2 patches and 1 x 4 antenna arrays using 4 antenna patches. Each series has different characteristics of return loss, gain, VSWR, and axial ratio. Based on these experiments, the results were obtained, namely the return loss of single patch, array 1x2 and array 1 x 4 respectively were -19 dB, -11 dB and -19 dB, while antenna gain was 2.9 times, 9.09 times and 2.27 times. The lowest VSWR value is found in the single patch circuit while the highest is found in the 1 x 4 array antenna. The axial ratio of a single patch and an array of 1 x 4 has the same value of 40, while a series of arrays of 1 x 2 has an axial ratio value of 35. Based on these results, it can be concluded that each circuit has a specification of values that are not the same, but it is still included in the appropriate antenna criteria, namely VSWR <2 and return loss below -10 dB.

Abstract

Good air quality is important for the health and comfort of the people living in that environment. Air quality conditions at a location can be determined from the levels of pollutants and harmful gases. The most easily known air quality parameters are temperature, humidity, and levels of harmful gases present. This research presents an air quality monitoring instrument that utilizes Long Range (LoRa) wireless technology for data transmission. This tool consists of a sensor node section that functions to detect air quality in a certain area, as well as a gateway section that functions to receive data from the sensor node to be forwarded to the operator. Each set of sections is equipped with a LoRa SX1276 module that works at a frequency of 915 MHz for data communication and NodeMCU ESP8266 for data processing. The sensor node is equipped with a DHT22 sensor to detect temperature and humidity and an MQ7 sensor to detect carbon monoxide (CO) levels. The reading results of these sensors are forwarded by the sensor node to the gateway to be displayed on a 0.96” OLED. The gateway is also equipped with a buzzer that will sound if a temperature reading value exceeds 40 oC is found, humidity does not meet the 45-65% RH range, and CO levels exceed 12 ppm. The test results showed that the buzzer function can work properly according to the specified sensor reading value and the maximum distance between the sensor node and the gateway for optimal data communication is a radius of 400 m when tested at the Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya.

Abstract

In this study a prototype will be made for VHF airband, the design used uses GNURadio installed on the Windows operating system as digital signal processing, and the digital data that comes out will be converted into analog using Software Defined Radio (SDR). The modulation used is Amplitude Modulation (AM) on the Audio Source transmitter system with a sample rate of 48kHz, using Multiply Const 1.2 and Signal Source 500mV on the signal receiver, the average modulation percent value is 0.8

Abstract

In recent years, the world's need for fossil energy such as oil and gas will increase. Meanwhile, fossil energy reserves are decreasing. This is also due to the high number of motorized vehicles. With the growth of motorized vehicles as a mode of transportation and limited fossil fuels, it is necessary to develop renewable energy as an alternative energy. This is a step to reduce the use of fossil fuels. . Ethanol is an alternative fuel source derived from plants or vegetable sources. The high octane contained in ethanol can be used as a fuel mixture or as the fuel itself. This research was carried out experimentally to determine the effect of using ethanol on the power, torque, and efficiency of the engine. In carrying out this research the first steps required are fuel, ethanol, piston variations and a tool to obtain data, namely the Dynotest. The engine will observe changes in the aspects of power, torque and efficiency by using the addition of ethanol to pertalite and piston changes. The percentages used are 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%. The results of this study obtained the best Power, Torque and Fuel Efficiency which were obtained in tests of standard piston engines and piston changes and a mixture of ethanol and pertalite obtained when using piston changes with a compression ratio of 11: 1 with a maximum power of 8.15 HP, torque at 22.96 Nm and the best fuel efficiency is 0.235 ml/s.
