Abstract

Bio-Ethanol merupakan bahan bakar yang menghasilkan polutan yang rendah, Bioethanol merupakan bahan bakar yang aman digunakan sebagai bahan bakar, titik nyala etanol tiga kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan bensin, Emisi hidokarbon lebih sedikit. Bioethanol E-15 merupakan campuran premium 85% - Bioethanol 15%. Kinerja mesin tertinggi diperoleh pada campuran premium 85%-bioethanol 15% [E-15] dengan peningkatan torsi, daya output 10,15%, dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik meningkat 2,22%. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mesin Bensin dengan sistem pemasukan bahan bakar port injection dengan variable speed antara 1000-5000 rpm dengan interval 500 rpm, dimana Campuran Bioethanol-Premium [E15] dimasukkan ke dalam ruang bakar melalui injector. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja mesin bensin dengan bahan bakar bensin dan E-15. Hasil yang diharapkan mendapatkan nilai pengaturan rasio kompresi dan waktu pengapian yang maksimal serta nilai unjuk kerja yang dinyatakan dalam: daya, torsi, efisiensi thermal, sfc.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to find out whether there was a significant difference of cadets’ reading comprehension achievement before and after being taught through questioning and answering method and to find if there was an increase of cadets’ reading comprehension after the instruction. The sample of this research was course TNU 10 A/B in Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya. The research applied one group pre-test postest design. The result of the reading study by using questioning and answering method showed that there was a significant difference on cadets’ reading comprehension. The average of postest score was higher than that of pre-test, and it has gain. It means that there is an increase of cadets’ reading comprehension achievement after being taught through questioning and answering method type of cooperative learning

Abstract

Desain ini dibuat sebagai alternatif peralatan Explosive Detektor serta memberikan bantuan tambahan jika di bandara tidak disediakan peralatan yang tepat. Peralatannya belum tersedia Explosive Detector di beberapa bandara dan peralatannya yang mahal, penulis ingin membuat desain Explosive Detector dengan biaya rendah dan dirancang dengan teknologi terbaru. Desain Explosive Detector mampu mendeteksi keberadaan dan jenis bahan peledak dengan menghitung besar medan magnet serta besar medan magnet yang diperbandingkan sehingga mereka akan tahu jenis bahan peledak apa yang terdeteksi. Rancangan Explosive Detector menggunakan sensor Magnetometer sebagai konsep dasar.

Abstract

Precsicion approach path indicator atau biasa disebut PAPI merupakan alat bantu pendaratan yang paling vital untuk penerbang, diperlukan kepresisian tinggi untuk dapat membantu seorang penerbang atau pilot untuk mendaratkan pesawat udara. Dalam kenyantaannya PAPI di bandara seringkali mendapat masalah yang menyebabkan kepresisian PAPI dipertanyakan. Abstract

The determing of language learning strategies that are often used by cadets in the Surabaya aviation polytechnic and knowing the correlation between the age, gender, major and educational background of each cadet are the goals in this reseach. Chi-Square test and Pearson product moment correlations test was used in order to determine whether or not common effect of age, gender, major and educational background of each cadet displayed significant differences on Language Learning Stratrgy of students. The results stated that the most frequently-used strategies were metacognitive strategies. The least frequently-used ones were affective strategies. The results of Pearson product moment correlations revealed that gender were the only demografic factors that were significantly correlated with the learners’ learning strategy. The relationship between learners’ learning strategy and gender was found to be positively significant .002 (sig < .005), learning strategy use associated with gender were significantly correlated.

Abstract

Kecepatan angin dan desain sudu mempengaruhi besarnya kecepatan putaran generator, sehingga data kecepatan putar sudu dan kecepatan putar generator menjadi salah satu acuan untuk berbagai keperluan seperti mendesain sudu turbin, data pembanding dengan output generator dalam menentukan kinerja generator dan sistem keamanan turbin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang alat pengukur kecepatan putar (rpm) generator yang dihasillkan dari pergerakan turbin angin. Prinsip kerja dari alat ini yaitu menembakkan cahaya infra merah pada bidang reflektif yang akan memantulkan cahaya inframerah yang kemudian diterima oleh detektor. Alat pengukur kecepatan putar ini menggunakan sensor led inframerah yang dapat memancarkan cahaya inframerah yang tidak kasat mata. Cahaya inframerah merupakan gelombang cahaya yang berada pada spektrum cahaya tak kasat mata yang ditembakkan ke daerah reflektif kemudian ditangkap oleh phototransistor sebagai receiver. Output receiver akan dikonversi dalam bentuk kecepatan putar (rpm) oleh mikrokontroler. Nilai rpm akan ditampilkan melalui display lcd. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian alat diperoleh bahwa error pengukuran paling kecil pada kecepatan 6000 RPM dengan prosentase error sebesar 0.00 %, sedangkan prosentase error terbesar pada kecepatan 500 RPM sebesar 0.04 %. Dari data hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan , hasil pengukuran masih dalam batas toleransi yaitu sebesar ±10%.

Abstract

This design was created to facilitate the monitoring the factor of the internet protocol television damage through technician server room. Cause of damage factor that will be monitoring are temperature, humidity and voltage on the device. Component used to monitoring the temperature and humidity is DHT22 sensor on the set top box device on internet protocol television. Basic concept of this design is DHT sensor will send the information about temperature and humidity alteration to Arduino UNO that will be processed by Arduino UNO. Data received from sensor processed by Arduino UNO and sent by ethernet shield to computer server. It will be discussed more clearly in this paper and more completely about the work principle of monitoring set top box system design on internet protocol television.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities at Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya are conducted with highly supportive learning facilities, the creation of convenience is the key to improving the quality and results of graduate quality. Adequate classrooms, supportive practice tools, and learning methods that are always updated in accordance with the latest curriculum in the world of aviation are all created for cadets to have competitiveness and competence to compete in the world of work. Result of F Test calculation done with SPSS program is got value of F count equal to 157,135. The value of significance obtained is 0.001, the value of this significance is smaller than the value of a is 0.05. Thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that the independent variables of teaching and learning process (X1) and educational facilities (X2) together affect the variable tied learning achievement (Y) cadet electrical engineering airport force IX at Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya. In Partial Tests obtained results: For learning process variables / (X1), the value of t arithmetic is 9,464 and the significance value is 0,000, this value is smaller than a = 0,05 thus means that the learning process variables X1) partially has a significant influence on the dependent variable achievement learning (Y) cadet electrical engineering airport force IX at Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya. For the educational facilities variable / (X2), the value of t arithmetic is 7,913 and the significance value is 0.000, this value is smaller thana = 0,05 so it means that the educational facility variable (X2) partially has significant influence to the variable tied learning achievement (Y) cadet electrical engineering airport force IX at Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya. From the results of SPSS about partial correlation coefficient, it is known that the variable X1 is the learning process has the highest partial correlation value is 0.832 compared with other independent variables. Therefore, the variable X1 is the variable teaching and learning process is the independent variable that predominantly affects the dependent variable is the learning achievement (Y) cadet electrical engineering airport force IX at Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan implementasi suatu sistem kendali yang berbasis logika fuzzy pada pengendalian tegangan keluaran generator dengan sumber eksitasi konverter AC-DC PWM. Logika fuzzy digunakan untuk menentukan besarnya sinyal control komparator PWM sehingga diperoleh lebar pulsa switching bagi komponen konverter daya sumber eksitasi. Prototipe sistem pengendalian diwujudkan melalui perangkat keras yang terdiri dari generator, sistem eksitasi PWM dan kontroler logika fuzzy yang direalisasikan melalui pemrograman Visual Basic pada PC.. Nilai tegangan output dari generator adalah 383 Vline-to-line dengan nilai tegangan eksitasi sebesar 84.5 Vdc untuk kondisi tanpa beban. Duty cycle yang diperlukan adalah 37.2% dengan frekuensi switching sebesar 15 kHz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan sistem kendali ini untuk menjaga nilai tegangan keluaran generator pada nilai yang diinginkan (setting) untuk berbagai variasi pembebanan maupun variasi putaran penggerak mula.
