Abstract

The researcher's aim is to analyze students' learning difficulties regarding plant reproduction in science subjects in class IV elementary school. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews & documentation. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation & drawing conclusions. Validity of data using source & technique triangulation methods. The research instrument was carried out using observation, interviews & documentation. The results of the research show that students have difficulty learning plant breeding material in science subjects in grade IV elementary school, namely: 1) there are difficulties in plant breeding material, sub-topics of plant reproduction; 2) difficulty factors that influence difficulty learning plant breeding material are: a) internal factors : students' motivation to learn in class is still lacking so students ignore the teacher's explanations in class, students' intelligence is quite low in absorbing the material explained by the teacher, students' lack of interest in learning because students are bored; b) external factors: lack of school facilities & infrastructure, teachers' learning methods are less attractive, environmental factors students prefer to play games, family factors lack of attention from parents who are busy working; c) psychological factors include students who are less interested in learning because students are less able to read; d) physiological factors: students do not focus on learning because students have nearsightedness and students are slow in absorbing the material.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of internalizing disciplinary character values to foster a positive culture in the school environment. The type of this research was a Mixed-methods experimental design with the subjects SD Negeri 11 and 36 Lubuklinggau students to collect data by applying internalization of disciplinary character values in school. The instruments are interview forms, questionnaires of students' knowledge and attitudes, and questionnaires internalizing disciplinary character values. Data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, interpretation, conclusion drawing and verification are all steps in the analysis of qualitative data. Quantitative data from the experimental class to the control class were evaluated as descriptive statistics. The findings show that empirical models in the development of student disciplinary character require consistency because, in schools, teachers are not used to collaborating with students to correct existing mistakes but can only provide punishment. Respondents (75.00%) rated the interaction, internalization of discipline, class agreement criteria, teacher control, more than half of respondents (56.25%), and positive discipline (86.11%). The RAI Index score was 6.60. This study offers important insights into the roles of classroom agreement, teacher control, and positive discipline in predicting different types of value regulation, including external, introjection, identified, and integrated regulation. This is an intriguing finding.

Abstract

This study aims to create interactive learning media, named Pancasila-Ku, using Google Sites to enhance Pancasila education for fourth-grade students at SDN Jatinegara Kaum 03. The media design is grounded in addressing diverse learning styles among children. The Research and Development (R&D) approach, following the Hannafin and Peck model, guides the research process. The media's validity is evaluated through expert validation, with media experts giving a score of 92.2%, language experts 71.1%, and subject matter experts 90%. Practical testing involving fourth-grade students indicates positive outcomes, scoring 90.6% in the one-to-one stage, 90.8% in the small group stage, and 91% in the field test stage. The findings affirm the suitability of Pancasila-Ku for Pancasila education among fourth-grade students, emphasizing its role as the foundation of the state. Consequently, the study's objectives are achieved, and the developed interactive learning media is endorsed for use in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine how much influence the application of the Make a Match model assisted by the Wordwall application on the learning outcomes of students in grade V SD Cluster I Pauh District, Padang. This is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The samples were SDN 04 Pisang (experimental) and SDN 08 Pisang (control) were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used is a test in the form of multiple-choice questions that have been validated and analyzed with validity, reliability, differentiating power, and difficulty level. The data analysis techniques used are a t-test that has met the prerequisite test (normality and homogeneity test) and an n-gain score. Based on the post-test results, the average of the experimental group (80,07) >the control group (69,83). The results of the analysis using the t-test: tcount = 3.3923 > ttable = 2.0106, so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of the n-gain score test obtained an average increase in the experimental group = 33.42% > control group =18.20%. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the Make a Match model assisted by the Wordwall application on student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, obstacles and solutions of implementing audio-visual media in learning folklore to improve language skills. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The researcher chose SDN Pajang 3 as the object of research because it is an elementary school that has carried out learning with audio-visual media on several learning materials. Based on the selected object, the subjects in this study were grade 2 students and teachers who were involved in learning with audio-visual media. Information on research subjects in data collection activities in the form of interviews was then analyzed using data analysis techniques which included transcripts of interview results, data reduction, and data interpretation. The results of the study show that in planning lessons with audio-visual media, teachers and students carry out their respective roles in preparing for the implementation of teaching and learning activities properly. The implementation of learning with audio-visual also has a positive impact starting from easier implementation and achieving more functions for students. There are weaknesses in the form of the quality of facilities and infrastructure as well as information that is not optimal with the solutions that have been found and implemented by the teacher. Teachers can also prevent problems from occurring properly and with a complete strategy so that learning continues to run optimally based on the constraints that may occur.

Abstract

This study's goal was to determine how Liveworksheets LKPD, which are based on Discovery Learning, affected the learning outcomes of Class V students at SDN 27 Pasar Kambang. This study uses the quasi-experimental approach and is quantitative in nature. The Non-equivalent Group Design was used in this investigation. Every fifth grader at SDN 27 Pasar Kambang makes up the population in the study. Two sample classes, Class VB as the experimental group and Class VA as the control group, were collected using a cluster random sampling approach. For this investigation, the t test will be used to assess the hypothesis data. Calculated using the t-test,  >  equals 2.14 > 2.017. Therefore, it can be said that there is an influence on the use of Discovery Learning-based LKPD Liveworksheets on learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning outcomes in elementary schools. That is, if the teacher uses the discovery learning model and uses worksheets based on live worksheets it is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objective of this research study is to develop a multicultural-based Hand Puppet Book media that is appropriate as literacy material for fourth-grade students. This research follows the Research and Development methodology. The development process adopts seven out of the ten steps formulated by Borg & Gall, which include:1) preliminary study, 2) planning, 3) developing a preliminary form of product, 4) preliminary field testing, 5) main product revision, 6) main field testing, and 7) operational product revisions. The subjects in this study were 4th-grade elementary school students in Depok District. During the initial study, data collection was conducted through various methods including observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The validation process involved material experts, media experts, and gathering feedback from both teachers and students. The outcome of the research is the development of a Hand Puppet Book media that incorporates multicultural content and promotes tolerance values. The media has been deemed suitable for implementation based on the validation results from material and media experts, as well as the trials conducted in schools, which categorized it as "very feasible." This product can serve as effective literacy material for promoting multicultural education among fourth-grade elementary school students.
