Abstract

Land Deed Officials (PPAT) play a central role in the land registration system in Indonesia, functioning as the front line in ensuring legal certainty regarding land ownership rights. However, the regulations governing the position and authority of PPATs are currently still partial and not fully in line with the spirit of the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA). This condition gives rise to various legal problems that have implications for the emergence of land disputes and hinder the goal of national agrarian law unification. This article examines the urgency of reconstructing PPAT regulations as a strategic step towards harmonising agrarian law in Indonesia. Through a juridical-normative approach, this article analyses the disharmony in existing regulations and offers a comprehensive reconstruction framework, covering the aspects of authority, guidance, supervision, and accountability of PPATs. This reconstruction is expected to strengthen the position of PPAT as professional and integrity public officials, as well as accelerate the realisation of an agrarian legal system that is fair and has legal certainty.

Abstract

This study proposes an analysis of sustainability reporting by Bank BCA, focusing on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards as the main framework. Sustainability reports that combine financial and non-financial information are crucial for companies to communicate their economic, social and environmental impacts to stakeholders and gain legitimacy. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent to which Bank BCA has disclosed sustainability information in accordance with GRI standards, which will provide insights for interested parties regarding the implementation of GRI standards in the Indonesian banking sector. The results show that Bank BCA has implemented sustainability reporting for the 2022–2024 period with high consistency and an upward trend from year to year. In terms of GRI 2 (General Disclosure), BCA achieved fully applied status, thereby strengthening its legitimacy through transparent governance and strategies. GRI 200 (Economic Performance) was in the well applied category with contributions to the creation and distribution of sustainable economic value as a manifestation of the profit dimension. GRI 300 (Environmental Performance) shows a commitment to the planet dimension through recycling initiatives, although there is still room for improvement in the details of waste management, while GRI 400 (Social Performance) is in the well applied to fully applied category with a focus on employee welfare, financial literacy, and social contribution as a manifestation of the people dimension. Overall, the results of this study are in line with the Triple Bottom Line principle and legitimacy theory, and show that the disclosure of sustainability reports not only complies with Law No. 40/2007 and POJK No. 51/2017, but also strengthens employee trust, customer loyalty, and BCA's reputation as a bank committed to sustainability.

Abstract

Food security has increasingly become a crucial issue in Indonesia, especially amid climate change, urbanization, and population growth. The government’s free nutritious lunch program further emphasizes the need for healthy and sustainable food availability. However, various challenges remain, such as limited productive land, the conversion of agricultural land, and the high dependency on food imports. This community engagement program is designed through a literature study that explores the potential of applying hydroponic-based urban farming technology in Suryalaya Islamic Boarding School, Tasikmalaya. The novelty of this program lies in integrating food security concepts with the pesantren environment, which has rarely been addressed by modern agricultural innovations. Pesantren are considered strategic, as they serve not only as educational centers but also as broad-based communities capable of fostering food self-sufficiency. Through education and training grounded in literature-based studies, this program is expected to enhance the skills of students and teachers in managing sustainable cultivation, while also providing a pilot model for other Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of split ticket voting in the 2024 General Election in Sibolga City, where voters cast their ballots for a presidential candidate and a legislative party from different political parties. The objective is to understand the factors influencing this behavior and its relation to local political perceptions. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data indicate that voters separated their choices based on evaluations of candidate figures and the effectiveness of political performance at both the local and national levels. The findings show that voting behavior is no longer grounded in party loyalty but rather in rational evaluations of differing needs across electoral levels. In conclusion, split ticket voting in Sibolga City represents an expression of political rationality by the community in responding to the complexities of electoral democracy.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how accounting conservatism, tax avoidance, leverage, profitability, and firm size on firm value is affect the value of manufacturing companies that make things people buy, which are listed on the Indonesian stock market between 2020 and 2022. How much a company is worth is shown by its Price to Book Value (PBV), and the things that might change it are shown by CA, ETR, DER, ROA, and Ln Total Assets. The way to do this is by using a specific math process with 236 pieces of information, after getting rid of any that were too far off. The results show that profits and how big a company is have a good and clear effect on how much a company is worth. But being careful in accounting, avoiding taxes, and amounts of debt do not have a clear effect. The Adjusted R² number of 9.4% shows that the math only explains a small bit of what changes how much a company is worth. To sum up, those who put money into companies care more about how much money a company makes and how big it is, instead of careful plans or saving on taxes, when they decide how much a company is worth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socio-economic embeddedness in the development of the knitting creative industry in Tanjung Enim, which is supported by the CSR program of PT Bukit Asam. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving knitting artisans and CSR representatives, then analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that the knitting creative industry has developed as a form of creative economy based on social collaboration, yet it remains dependent on external support from CSR Bukit Asam in terms of mentoring, training, and marketing. Based on Granovetter’s embeddedness theory, the relationship among artisans reflects relational embeddedness through trust, norms, and solidarity, while structural embeddedness is evident in the role of CSR as the main facilitator. The development efforts of the knitting industry are directed toward enhancing human resource capacity, product innovation, and expanding social networks and markets to achieve independence and sustainability as a competitive creative economy.
