Abstract

The changes in the global economy and competitive business growth demand increased efficiency, effectiveness, and professionalism in all business lines of SOEs, including Jasa Tirta II. In order to realize this, the Ministry of SOEs conducts SOE development, namely business model restructuring, including the stipulation of Government Regulation Number 113 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 25 of 1976 concerning State Capital Participation of the Republic of Indonesia for the Establishment of the Company (Persero) "Danareksa". The implication of the regulation is that the Jasa Tirta II Public Company as a company engaged in the field of water resources is included in the company that is planned to become a member of the Danareksa Holding so that it requires preparations to support the formation of the Danareksa Holding with the participation of state capital through the shift or transfer of shares in a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise or a Limited Liability Company. Jasa Tirta II with the status of a business entity in the form of a Public Company certainly cannot shift or transfer shares, so Jasa Tirta II is considered necessary to change the status from a public company to a Limited Liability Company. Jasa Tirta II as a business entity assigned by the Government in terms of public benefit services in the field of Water Resources management, of course, this public service is one of the main activities that must be maintained by Jasa Tirta II. Therefore, there needs to be a study that specifically explores the possible impact of the policy of changing the status of business entities from public company to liability company with a point of view from the aspect of public services. The research conducted is an ex ante evaluation using an experimental quantitative approach that can be proven by the cost benefit analysis method. The stages is to identification the costs and benefits in the aspect of Jasa Tirta II's public services from the public company side and from the side if the business entity changes its form into a liability company, then processed by net benefit evaluation using the B/C Ratio and simulations the cost and benefit data for the next 10 years with an estimated Net Present Value (NVP) and Return on Investment (ROI). The net evaluation of benefits, which is a ratio to measure the benefits obtained by business entities, especially for the public service aspect of Jasa Tirta II from the side of public companies and the side of liability companies, obtained the result that from the side of public companies has more public service benefits of 2.64% compared to the benefits of public services from the side of liability companies which is 0.90%. As for the NVP simulation, it was found that the total net value of NVP from the side of the general company was Rp. 10,144,877,000,000,-, while the total net value of NVP from the side of the limited liability company was Rp. -827,508,000,000,-. And for the ROI simulation, it was obtained that the total net ROI for the public company Jasa Tirta II was 164%, while the total net ROI result if Jasa Tirta II was in the form of a liability company was -9.7%. Based on the results of the B/C Ratio, NVP and ROI simulations, it was concluded that Jasa Tirta with the form of a public company has a very positive impact and has greater public benefits from its public service aspect, while if the form of Jasa Tirta II business entity is a liability company, the benefits of public services have a negative impact or have not been maximized in fulfilling their general benefits.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of dual role conflict on marital satisfaction among young married couples in Jakarta, with emotion regulation as a moderating variable. The background of this research lies in the increasing demands of household roles, especially for couples who both work. Dual role conflict arises when individuals face pressure to fulfill multiple roles simultaneously, such as being a spouse, a parent, and a professional. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 200 participants aged 20–40 years who were already married. The majority of participants were women who actively worked and carried out multiple roles in their daily lives. The instruments used included the Role Conflict Scale to measure dual role conflict, the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) to measure emotion regulation, and the Enrich Marital Satisfaction Scale (EMSS) to measure marital satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using moderation regression to determine whether emotion regulation strengthens or weakens the relationship between dual role conflict and marital satisfaction. The results showed that dual role conflict had a significant negative effect on marital satisfaction. However, emotion regulation was found to moderate this relationship. Individuals with strong emotion regulation skills were more capable of managing role pressures and maintaining the quality of their marital relationships. These findings highlight the importance of emotion regulation training as an adaptive strategy, particularly for working women. The practical implications are directed toward counselors, psychologists, and policymakers in providing support for married couples in the modern era.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is the largest region in East Java and is home to one of the underdeveloped marine tourism assets—Bedil Island, a small island with tremendous potential due to its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and pristine marine biodiversity, resembling that of Raja Ampat. Considering the success of Raja Ampat's tourism branding and management, it is important to explore the development of Bedil Island without losing its local uniqueness. This study aims to examine the potential and development strategies for Bedil Island's marine tourism, inspired by the Raja Ampat model, as a new attraction for both domestic and international tourists. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources include both primary and secondary data. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. To ensure data validity, triangulation of sources and methods was applied. The findings reveal that Bedil Island holds great potential to be developed as a leading tourism destination in Banyuwangi. Its main attractions include a cluster of small islands, clear turquoise-blue seawater, and distinctive natural beauty. Accessibility to the location is relatively feasible: visitors can travel approximately two hours by land from Banyuwangi city center, followed by a boat trip to the Bedil Island cluster. Key attractions and unique features of Bedil Island include: snorkeling and diving, sailing around the island cluster, trekking to Kemuning peak, marine educational tourism, and local seafood culinary experiences such as grilled fish and other seafood dishes.

Abstract

This study examines the role of local wisdom of the Dana Mbojo community in climate change mitigation, focusing on the Parafu system (customary land management patterns) and Pamali practices (customary prohibitions related to environmental conservation). The urgency of this research lies in the need for a culturally based approach to strengthen climate change mitigation strategies that have been dominated by technocratic approaches. This study aims to identify and analyze the contribution of the Parafu system and Pamali practices to forest, water, and soil conservation, and assess their relevance in the context of climate change adaptation. The study used mixed methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews with 25 traditional and community leaders, field observations in three traditional villages, and the distribution of questionnaires to 150 respondents, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the Parafu system contributed to a decrease in deforestation rates by 18.3% in the last five years, while Pamali practices were effective in reducing land burning activities by up to 27.6% compared to non-customary areas (p=0.003). Eighty-four percent of respondents stated that the application of customary values can maintain the balance of local ecosystems, and 76% stated that customary law is more adhered to than formal government regulations. The local wisdom of Dana Mbojo, through the Parafu system and Pamali practices, has great potential for climate change mitigation, particularly through social control mechanisms, value-based conservation, and sustainable spatial use. Integrating local values into climate mitigation policies at the regional and national levels is a strategic step that needs to be implemented immediately.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of stress and anxiety levels on TikTok consumption among respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the validity test show that all items in the Stress Level (X1), Anxiety (X2), and TikTok Consumption (Y) variables are valid, indicated by a p-value 0.05. The reliability test also showed very good results with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.919 (X1), 0.971 (X2), and 0.898 (Y), respectively, which means that all research instruments are reliable. The classical assumption test shows that the regression model meets the assumption of normality, there is no multicollinearity, and there is no heteroscedasticity. The results of the regression analysis produce the equation Y = 29.633 + 0.515X1 - 0.132X2 + e. The partial test (t-test) shows that both independent variables have a significant effect on TikTok consumption, with a significance value 0.05. The simultaneous test (F test) also shows that both variables together have a significant effect on TikTok consumption. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.351 indicates that 35.1% of the variability in TikTok consumption can be explained by stress and anxiety levels. This finding indicates that the higher the level of stress and anxiety, the higher the tendency of a person to consume TikTok.

Abstract

This study examines the tindak pidana keterangan palsu in current affairs from the perspectives of positive and Islamic law, with a focus on Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Medan Nomor 737/Pid.B/2024. This is important because, as an otentik act, hibah has a high degree of purity, but rentan is used in conjunction with palsu keterangan that implies the kerugian of law and the public's lack of trust in the government. The study employs a normative legal approach that includes undang-undang, kasus, conceptual, and perbandingan analysis. According to the study's findings, hakim menerapkan Pasal 266 jo. Pasal 55 KUHP by promoting the use of niat (mens rea) and tindakan to fully encase the keterangan palsu (actus reus). From the perspective of jinayah fiqh, this perbuatan is related to syahādah az-zūr (kesaksian palsu), which includes large dosa and can be explained by sanksi ta'zir demi kemaslahatan. Comparative analysis highlights the similarities between Islamic and positive law, despite their differences in sanksi orientation: Islamic law emphasizes morality and substantiation, whereas positive law emphasizes adherence to the law. This study recommends strengthening notary integrity, raising the bar for active verification, and incorporating Islamic legal principles into positive legal practice to prevent corruption and improve legal performance.
