Abstract

Trust is an important foundation in a healthy and sustainable romantic relationship. This study aims to test the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the Trust in Close Relationship Scale adapted from Rempel, Holmes, and Zanna (1985). A total of 416 respondents (208 heterosexual couples) aged 18–65 years were recruited through a purposive sampling technique. The instrument consists of 26 items measuring three dimensions of trust: faith, dependability, and predictability. The validation procedure includes content validity testing using Aiken's V, readability testing, and construct validity through Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Convergent validity was tested using the Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS-32) and discriminant validity with the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI). The EFA results showed a three-factor structure, but two factors included items across the original dimensions, which were later renamed to Belief, Predictability, and Reliability. CFA on 16 selected items showed adequate model fit (CFI=0.939; TLI=0.928; RMSEA=0.0683). Convergent validity showed that Reliability and Predictability were positively correlated with relationship quality (DAS-32), while Confidence showed a negative correlation. Discriminant validity showed a weak relationship between trust dimensions and personality (TIPI). Reliability tests showed high internal consistency (α=0.720–0.921). This study concluded that the Indonesian version of the Trust Scale is valid and reliable for measuring trust in romantic relationships, although differences in factor structure were found that were influenced by local cultural contexts

Abstract

The contribution of private companies in Sidoarjo Regency to corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly in the field of health, is very low, causing concern among several parties. At the same time, the child mortality rate in Sidoarjo Regency is quite high, including in Bebekan Village. Therefore, private sector contributions, including those from private hospitals, are needed to help address these issues. RS Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Branch Sepanjang, as a private hospital, is also fulfilling this obligation, as initial observations by the researcher indicate that RS Siti Khodijah is actively involved in community-based social activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR), specifically the CSR Social Service programme by RS Siti Khodijah Muhammadiyah Branch Sepanjang to improve maternal and child health in Bebekan Village. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach and focuses on the programme implementation model according to Korten (1980). Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate: 1) Program, in the program focus, there is alignment between the program and the beneficiaries' needs. This is evident from the program planning, objectives, and clear budget, as well as community involvement. 2) Implementing organisation, in this focus, there is also alignment between the tasks required by the program and the capabilities of the implementing organisation. Where the division of labour and implementation guidelines carried out by the implementing organisation align with their competencies. 3) Beneficiaries, in this focus area, the programme has also been implemented effectively. This is evident from the achievement of the target, namely a reduction in child mortality rates in the Bebekan neighbourhood. The conclusion of the study is that the implementation of the CSR Bakti Sosial programme is effective and aligns with Korten's (1980) programme implementation model. Abstract

This study investigates the link between self-compassion and body image, as mediated by the intensity of social media use. According to earlier studies, women's body satisfaction may suffer when they are exposed to idealized body pictures on social media. Self-compassion, however, could serve as a buffer against these impacts. This study uses a correlational design and an online survey to get data from young adult women between 18 and 25. The Body Appreciation Scale (BAS) measures body image, the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) measures self-compassion, and a questionnaire gauges the degree of social media use. According to the results of the path analysis, self-compassion does not moderate the link between body image and the intensity of social media use. These results imply that although social media involvement is influenced by body image, self-compassion may not be sufficient to lessen its effects. This study emphasizes the need for more investigation into other mediating variables and therapies that support a healthy body image in the digital age.

Abstract

Distance learning had already evolved before the pandemic occurred. Implementing Learning Management Systems began through the SPADA Kemdikbud program, and the pandemic further accelerated the adoption of this platform. The limitations of Learning Management System utilization in several universities for supporting hybrid learning have become one of the challenges in the teaching process. This study aimed to analyse issues in hybrid learning and examine the instructional tools used in Introduction to Business courses at the university level. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects were private universities under the Association of Indonesian Teachers (PGRI) within the East Java region. The research findings indicated that the challenges faced in the hybrid learning process at several universities include material comprehension, internet connectivity, and students' learning environment. The decline in student enrollment at several universities did not contribute to the challenges encountered in the hybrid learning process. Learning tools, including syllabus development and semester lesson plans, must continuously improve and align with the applicable curriculum. Utilising a Learning Management System with enhanced content development can facilitate the effectiveness of hybrid learning..

Abstract

This study examines the socio-economic dynamics of salt farmers in the northern coast of Probolinggo Regency under the pressures of globalization. Farmers face structural vulnerabilities such as weak bargaining power, dependence on middlemen, and limited access to technology and markets, raising questions about how they sustain livelihoods while maintaining cultural identity. The novelty lies in integrating economic ethnography with cultural theme analysis, showing that economic practices are deeply embedded in cultural frameworks. An economic ethnography approach was applied through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, supported by qualitative analysis with ATLAS.ti. Snowball sampling involved fifty farmers with diverse age, experience, land ownership, and production orientation. The findings reveal five main domains: production strategies, distribution and marketing, socio-cultural values, institutional relations, and attitudes toward technology. Taxonomic analysis grouped these into survival, social values, and global adaptation, while componential analysis highlighted six contrasting dimensions. Cultural theme analysis emphasized two guiding principles blessings and heritage. Modernization and sustainability of salt agribusiness require aligning innovation and policy with local cultural values to ensure inclusivity and resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of strategic planning with a comprehensive budgeting approach in optimizing management control in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the post-pandemic recovery period. By synthesizing various recent studies, this study identifies the main factors that influence the effectiveness of integrated budgeting as well as the challenges faced by MSMEs in aligning strategies and control mechanisms. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with data sources obtained through Publish or Perish, Science Direct, IEEE, Scopus, Taylor and Francis, Google Scholar, and ProQuest, resulting in 40 reputable journals published in 2021–2025 that are relevant to the research topic. The findings show that strategic planning and comprehensive budgeting play an important role in improving decision-making, accountability, and the managerial performance of MSMEs. However, its success is greatly influenced by leadership commitment, managerial competence, digital readiness, and government policy support. The main challenges faced by MSMEs include financial constraints, low managerial literacy, and inadequate technological infrastructure, which hinder the integration of planning, budgeting, and control. This study implies the need for government support through policies and programs to increase the capacity of MSMEs to strengthen strategic financial management. For MSME actors, the integration of strategic planning and comprehensive budgeting can be a means to achieve efficiency, resilience, and sustainable business growth in the post-pandemic era. This study offers a new perspective on the relationship between strategic planning, comprehensive budgeting, and management control in the MSME sector, highlighting their synergy as drivers of organizational recovery and sustainability.

Abstract

Land reform policy is a strategic step towards creating equitable land ownership and eliminating agrarian inequality. In its implementation, Land Deed Officials (PPAT) play an important role because the deeds they draw up form the legal basis for the transfer or encumbrance of land rights. This study aims to analyse the role of PPAT, the form of their legal responsibility, and the obstacles in the implementation of land reform. This study uses a normative juridical method with a legislative, conceptual, and case approach. The results of the study show that PPATs have administrative, civil, and criminal legal responsibilities, but practices in the field face various obstacles, such as weak supervision, limited land data, and potential violations of the code of ethics. Therefore, strengthening regulations, digitising land administration, and improving the integrity of PPATs are necessary to achieve the objectives of land reform.
