Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of psychological well-being and job satisfaction on job stress members of the association of Indonesian translators. This study used a quantitative method in which the sampling technique was through a simple random sampling technique where the subjects in this study amounted to 141 people. Data were collected using was a Likert scale consisting of three scales, namely the psychological well-being scale, job satisfaction scale, and work stress scale. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was be a significant effect between psychological well-being and job satisfaction on the work stress of HPI members. This is indicated by the coefficient F reg = 15.211 with p < 0.05, and the coefficient R = 0.425 with p < 0.05 and R2 = 0.181. The total contribution of these two variables was 18.1%, while the remaining was 81.9% is influenced by other factors on job stress. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that psychological well-being and job satisfaction jointly affect the work stress of the association of Indonesian translators

Abstract

This study is the result of a quantitative study that aims to answer how individual factors, organizational culture, and incentives simultaneously and partially affect the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of Southeast Aceh Regency. Research data were collected through initial observations and filling out a list of statements by respondents who were designated as samples in this study. Further analyzed by quantitative analysis. In the F test the results state that simultaneously there is a significant influence between Individual Factors (X1), Organizational Culture (X2), and Incentives (X3) on the Performance (Y) of the Regional Secretariat of Southeast Aceh Regency employees. The t-test shows that there is no significant impact of Individual Factors (X1) and Organizational Culture (X2) on Performance (Y). Meanwhile, there is a significant impact of Incentives (X3) on Performance (Y). So that the Incentive becomes the variable that has the most impact on performance. In line with the conclusions above, it is recommended to take a more performance-based approach through the application of fair rewards and sanctions (punishment) to the State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Secretariat of Southeast Aceh Regency.

Abstract

This study aimed to ascertain the implemtation of the program of grants and social assistance in Gayo Lues, knowing what factors influence the implementation of grants and social assistance in Gayo Lues,, and to identify bottleneks in the delivery mechanism of grants and social assistance in Gayo Lues. The method used is descriptive qualitative, in depth interviews with research intrument. The result of this study are Policy Impelementation grants and social assistance in Gayo Lues went pretty smoothly. Although it still has not been done in accordance with the laws in force but nearly all stages of proposal and grants management activities and social assistance have been implemented. Then some of the factors that affect the implementation of the grants program and social assistence is communication, resource capabilities, attitudes executor, bureaucratic structure, and the size and environmental policy objectives. Obstacles encountered in the mechanism of providing grants and social assistance in Gayo Lues less that optimal, the implementation of social assistance program and grant the use data of beneficiaries of grants and social aid the previous years, and many recipients aid that has not verified that factual data, there is still overlap in the distribution of grant and social assistance, socail assistance funds even impressed educate people corrupt and nepotism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) during Work From Home (WFH) during the pandemic and the effect of communication on the performance of ASN during WFH during the pandemic and to analyze the factors inhibiting performance (ASN) in the Council Environment. Regional People's Representatives (DPRD) of North Sumatra Province (Provsu). This research uses ASN Competency Theory, ASN Performance and Communication. This research was conducted at the Provincial DPRD Office. The research method used in this research is correlational quantitative. The population in this study were civil servants at the provincial government DPRD office which accommodated 106 people. Sampling in this study using total sampling. The results of this study include: (1) There is an effect of ASN Competence on ASN Performance in the Provincial DPRD Environment during the pandemic period of 0.707. the second variable is positive and strong (2) There is an influence of ASN Communication on the performance of ASN in the DPRD Pemprovsu environment of 0.383. The level of correlation is low but definite between ASN communication variables and ASN performance during WFH in the DPRD Pemprovsu environment; (3) Factors that hinder performance are abilities that are motivated by differences in generations which are dominated by the Baby Boomer Generation over 45 years old, lack of motivation, ability to use technology, so that it has obstacles in production development.

Abstract

This thesis research uses normative legal research, namely research that refers to the legal norms contained in the laws and regulations that apply as a normative footing. Abstract

The purpose of this study is an attempt to analyze the legal protection of industrial design rights over lawsuits for cancellation of industrial design registrations. The research method used is using normative legal research methods with literature study data collection techniques, the analysis of this research is decision analysis. The result of this research is that the legal protection for the rights of industrial designers who have registered for the lawsuit for the cancellation of the registration of industrial designs is that the legal protection against the lawsuit for cancellation can be given through the registration mechanism. Protection can be obtained if an industrial design has been registered. This makes it easier to prove and protect even though the principle is from the emergence of industrial design matters. An industrial design right certificate can be issued at the Director General of Intellectual Property Rights which has an important role as proof of ownership for industrial design rights so that it does not have an element of novelty. The conclusion of this study is the legal considerations of the Supreme Court judges on the lawsuit for the cancellation of industrial design rights which have been registered in the Supreme Court's decision no. 407.K/PDT.SUS/HKI/2019 has fulfilled a sense of justice because it does not have a juridical basis and provides legal protection to registered industrial design rights as well as legal certainty if the plaintiff who files a lawsuit for the cancellation of the registered industrial design right cannot prove that the industrial design rights are in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaturan hukum tentang penerapan peraturan daerah mengenai badan usaha milik desa dalam upaya pengembangan swakelola desa dan penerapan Perda Kab. Langkat No. 6 Tahun 2022 tentang BUMDes dalam upaya pengembangan swakelola desa dan kendala yang dihadapi. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrument pengumpulan data. Obeservasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Dengan analisis data deskriftif analisis. Pengaturan BUMDes di Indonesia, yaitu diatur dalam: UU No. 6 Tahun 2014 tentang Desa, PP No. 72 Tahun 2005, Permendagri No. 39 Tahun 2010, UU No. 11 Tahun 2020 dan Perda Kab. Langkat No. 6 Tahun 2022. Penerapan Perda Kab Langkat No 6 Tahun 2022 untuk Kebijakan BUMDes di desa Ujung Teran dapat diterapkan dengan baik, tetapi penerapan pengelolaannya belum berjalan secara optimal karena rendahnya kompentensi para pelaksana dan kurangnya keterkaitan masyarakat untuk ikut memajukan BUMDes, hal tersebut juga terjadi akibat aturan perda tersebut belum dibuat sanksi pidana yang jelas dalam penerepannya. Kendala yang dihadapi kurangnya penerapan substansi hukum  tidak adanya penjelasan mengenai sanksi. Kurangnya penerapan struktur hukum yaitu tidak tegas dalam pengelolaan BUMDes atau tidak diberikan sanksi bagi pelanggaran BUMDes, dan kurangnya budaya hukum yang ada di desa Ujung Teran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence work-life balance has on work engagement for women in dealing with the world of education in the digital era. Technological developments in the digital era in today's world of education encourage them to develop their ability to operate digital systems both in communicating, teaching and learning and using applications to support the tri dharma task of higher education. The demands of work duties and responsibilities are a challenge for lecturers to do many things in daily life in a balanced way. Especially as a female lecturer who is also responsible for taking care of household activities. In addition, lecturers as human resources in universities are also a source of lessons to be responsible for the development and quality of universities as their organizations. This requires lecturers to be heavily involved in the administration and activities set by the institution. The involvement of lecturers makes the higher education system run smoothly and creates a satisfactory quality of higher education. With a balance between work and life, it is hoped that female lecturers can be more involved in all matters so that the tasks and responsibilities of the organization can be achieved. Measurements were carried out on 200 respondents using the Urtretch Work Engagement Scale and the work life balance scale. The results show that there is a positive and significant effect of work life balance on work engagement on female lecturers, which is 87.1%

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the responsibility and process of proving the wife as the perpetrator of the crime of murdering her husband at the Medan Polrestabes regarding the decision no. 907/Pid.B/2020/PN.Mdn. The type of research is normative juridical law, namely normative legal research on legal principles. To prove the act that is charged to a defendant in a belief that the defendant is really guilty, the court conducts an examination process known as proof. Article 184 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code has regulated the evidence that is recognized as valid in the trial, namely in the form of witness testimony, expert testimony, letters, instructions, and statements of the defendant. The results of the study indicate that the responsibility of the defendant Zuraida Hanum, has been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a crime. Premeditated Murder Committed Together, as charged in the Public Prosecutor's Primary Indictment, sentenced the defendant to the death penalty. The proof process is to check the crime scene, carry out an investigation into the discovery of the corpse, the Police to make a Model A Police Report, the Medan Police to receive an abundance of police reports from the Kutalimbaru Police, the disposition of the police report is received by the assistant investigator Bripka Okma Brata, to complete the mindik (letters), calling witnesses, checking CCTV from the victim's house until the scene of the corpse is found, conducting pre-reconstruction at the house of the murder victim.

Abstract

This study aims to find the correlation between the meaning of life and resilience in adolescents at the Bani Adam-As orphanage. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were orphanage adolescents aged 16-18 years. This study used purposive sampling as the sampling technique, which technique is based on specific considerations, so the sample amount to 52 adolescents. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive correlation between the meaning of life and resilience. The data collection technique used the Likert scale. Data analysis using product moment analysis. Based on the analysis that has been done, there is a coefficient value (Rxy) of 0.693 with p = 0.000 <0.050. The result shows that the hypothesis in this study is "accepted", means that there is a positive and significant correlation between the meaningfulness of life and resilience in adolescents, which shows that the higher the meaningfulness of life, the higher the resilience, and vice versa, the lower the meaningfulness of life, the lower the resilience. The coefficient of determination of the correlation is r₂ = 0.480, which means that the meaningfulness of life contributes to resilience by 48 percent, while the rest is determined by other aspects not examined in this study. The meaning of life in this study is high because (hypothetical mean = 60 < empirical mean = 71.63), whereas resilience in this study is high because (hypothetical mean = 57.5 < empirical mean = 68, 25).
