Abstract

In learning foreign language, one of the important aspects is vocabulary mastery. To converse perfectly in one foreign language, one should have the sufficient amount of vocabulary and able to use them correctly. Thus, this research is purposed to figure out students’ vocabulary skill at SMK Grafika Bina Media and to figure out the problems faced by students in learning vocabulary. The research was done on Class X Design Graphic students which consists of 19 students. The methodology used in this research was descriptive method. In this research, the authors used interview and vocabulary mastery test which consists of 40 questions, 15 in multiple choice and 25 in essays to obtain the data. Based on the findings of this research, it can be stated that only 3 students managed to get >85 and most students get <70. Thus, it indicates that students’ skill in vocabulary is still low. Students also faced some difficulties in answering the questions because they don’t know the meaning of the words and some words are new for them.

Abstract

 (1) untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan media pembelajaran model mind mapping mulasi dibandingkan dengan kelas konvensional dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (2) untuk mengetahui tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran model mind mapping. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik, yaitu menganalisis gambaran yang terjadi pada saat dilakukan penelitian, yakni kajian terhadap penggunaan Model Pembelajaran mind mapping dengan multimedia interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama metode pembelajaran mind mapping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar pendidikan agama islam, kedua penggunaan multiedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa, ketiga pembelajaran mind mapping dan penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the legal awareness of the community in the registration of customary land rights, with location points in two villages, namely Desa Doridungga and Desa O'O in Donggo District, Bima-NTB Regency, in the perspective of Land law and and analyzing the obstacles faced by communities in registering customary land rights at the Bima District Land Office. The research method used is a Socio-legal research that is oriented to a value approach (value-oriented approach). Empirical / sociological research is used to find out what and how public awareness in registering customary land rights is related to the implementation of land registration in the Land Agency Office of Bima-NTB Regency. The results of the research conducted were the level of community legal awareness in the context of registering customary land rights in Bima Regency, generally and in particular, Donggo District. This is due to the lack of several aspects, namely, lack of legal knowledge, legal understanding, legal attitudes, and community behavior patterns. The obstacle faced by the people of O’O Villagers and Desa Doridungga in registering customary land rights is the lack of socialization from the local government regarding proper procedures for registering customary land rights. As well as the level of legal awareness of the villagers of O'O and Desa Doridungga to carry out sporadic land registration as a result of the wrong mindset about the importance of land registration

Abstract

This study aims to identify what factors are a problem or a barrier for teachers to develop higher order thinking skills and what factors can improve teachers' higher order thinking skills. This research is a Systematic Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analyzes (PISMA) method. The results of the study identified several factors that hindered teachers from higher order thinking. With these results, it is hoped that teachers and related parties can focus on improving themselves on factors that can increase the ability of teachers to think at higher levels.

Abstract

Learning must be carried out in an interactive, innovative and fun way so that students do not feel bored when following the subjects presented. This study aims to design a learning video for the fourth grade natural science subjects on the subject of the least common multiple and the greatest common factor. This research was conducted in Tanah Tinggi 06 Petang Elementary School, Central Jakarta.  The research methodology used research and development with the ADDIE model approach which contains five steps; a) Analysis, b) Design, c), Develop, d), Implement, e). Evaluate. Data collection using questionnaires and tests, the validator consists of two experts and one teacher. The results of the validation of learning videos are categorized as good and learning video products are suitable for use in larger groups.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the competence of Senior High School students at South West Sumba in doing the high order thinking skills test on math lesson. This research is a survey research with 274 students of eleven SMA/MA in South West Sumba as the samples of research. The instrument used in this research was high order thinking skills test which are divided into 1 analysis test, 1 evaluation test and 1 creating test. The instrument has been tested in terms of construct validation and reliability by doing the instrument testing. The percentage of students who answer correctly on higher order thinking skills at analysis aspect with the ability of problem solving which are understanding the problems, making plans and finding solutions are 85.8%, 68.2% and 65.7%. The percentage of students who answer correctly on evaluation aspect with the ability of problem solving which include understanding the problem, making plans and finding solutions are 61.3%, 13.0% and 24.5%. While the percentage of students who answer correctly on creating aspect with the ability of problem solving that include understanding the problem, making plans and finding solutions are 15.3%, 13.5% and 12%. The average score gained by the students on analysis, evaluation and creating aspect which are converted on score 0-100 are 54, 37 and 34.

Abstract

Individuals with high risk of HIV and AIDS who come to the service center VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) feel worried or anxious that he has contracted HIV so he wants to know about his condition. They are usually worried or anxious about the implications of AIDS itself physically, psychologically, spiritually and socially namely the stigma and discrimination of society. Aim: this study was to determine the effect of counseling on changing anxiety levels of clients at high risk of HIV and AIDS. Methods: The design of this study was pre-experiment with one group pre-post-test design approach because before being given treatment, the client first assessed the level of anxiety, then after being given treatment the level of anxiety was re-examined, whether decreased anxiety level or not. The instrument used in this study was the HARS questionnaire. The instrument used in this study was the HARS questionnaire. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 21 samples. Univariate data analysis used is in the form of narration, frequency and percentage distribution tables, and bivariate analysis using parametric data analysis techniques, namely t-test dependent. Result:  This study shows that from 21 respondents before and after counseling, they have a difference of 6.19 with a standar deviation of 4.98. The p value of 0.000 indicates that the value is smaller when comparing the alpha value of 5% (0.05), meaning that there are differences in anxiety before and after counseling, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of spiritual counseling on the level of anxiety in high risk clients of HIV and AIDS in the area Senggigi medical tourism center. Conclusion: provision of counseling that has been going well in order to be maintained and enhanced by holding professional counselors training regularly and continuously.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: DM (Diabetes Mellitus) merupakan kelainan heterogen yang ditandai kenaikan kadar glukosa dalam darah. Dari data awal yang peneliti dapatkan di RSUD Sekarwangi Sukabumi pada tahun 2020 pada bulan Mei pasien yang menderita DM Tipe II sebanyak 189 jiwa, pada bulan Juni sebanyak 213 jiwa, pada bulan Juli sebanyak 200 jiwa, pada bulan Agustus sebanyak 185 jiwa, pada bulan September sebanyak 203 jiwa, dan pada bulan Oktober sebanyak 39 jiwa. Berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara 5 pasien yang menderita DM Tipe II diruang Poli Penyakit Dalam RSUD Sekarwangi Sukabumi didapatkan 3 pasien yang mengatakan tidak mengerti apa yang dimaksud dengan DM Tipe II dan bagaimana tanda dan gejala DM Tipe II. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan pasien atau keluarga pasien tentang DM Tipe II dan informasi yang masih kurang pada masyarakat tentang DM Tipe II. Dan 1 pasien dan keluarga pasien mengatakan mengerti apa yang dimaksud dengan DM Tipe II. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan keluarga dengan kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalankan diet DM Tipe II. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian deskripsi korelasi  serta menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi Dan Sampel: Populasi dalam penelitian 242 pasien dengan sampel 71 responden. Hasil Penelitian: hasil uji chi square menunjukan bahwa nilai p value 0,015 < 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan antara pengetahuan keluarga dengan kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalankan diet DM Tipe II. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan pengetahuan keluarga dengan kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalankan diet DM Tipe II di RSUD Sekarwangi Sukabumi. Saran: Bagi pasien yang menderita DM Tipe II diharapkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mematuhi dalam menjalankan diet DM Tipe II.

Abstract

Brang Kolong Kec. Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa dan  untuk mengetahui dampak budaya pacuan kuda dalam meningkatkan hubungan sosial masyarakat di Desa  Brang Kolong Kec. Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi.  Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sumber data sekunder tentang budaya pacuan kuda dalam mempererat hubungan sosial masyarakat di Desa Brang Kolong Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa, 1) Sejarah awal munculnya budaya pacuan kuda di Desa Brang Kolong Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa bermula pada saat zaman kolonial Belanda, sampai saat ini masih dipertahankan oleh masyarakat Sumbawa. Perbedaan main jaran pada zaman kolonial Belanda dengan sekarang terletak pada  aturan permainan pada saat itu tidak ada, bagi siapa yang mempunyai kuda yang besar dan siap untuk diadu kecepatannya itulah yang tampil, dan arenanya pun di tanah lapang yang tidak dibuatkan arena khusus, sedangkan sekarang atribut yang digunakan oleh kuda-kuda pacu dan para joki sudah memperhatikan keselamatan, ada aturan kelas berdasarkan umur dan ukuran kuda, usia joki dan kuda pacu diberikan hiasan-hiasan. 2) Dampak budaya pacuan kuda dalam mempererat hubungan sosial masyarakat di Desa  Brang Kolong Kecamatan Plampang Kabupaten Sumbawa yaitu sebagai ajang silaturahmi, persaudaraan, mengandung makna filosofi yang tinggi bagi derajat /kedudukan sosial seseorang di tengah masyarakat Sumbawa, simbol kehormatan dan kewibawaan, serta upaya untuk melestarikan budaya Sumbawa, mengembangkan pariwisata sebagai event pariwisata unggulan, ekonomi bisnis dan peternakan, dan hiburan rakyat.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis macromedia flash sebagai media pembelajaran matematika SMP pada pokok bahasan aritmatika sosial di kelas VII yang valid, praktis dan interaktif untuk kemudian diuji cobakan guna melihat efek potensial media pembelajaran berbasis macromedia flash bahasan aritmatika sosial terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. . Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran valid dengan dikategorikan cukup valid dari keseluruhan aspek dari lembar validasi media pembelajaran. Dari hasil penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran menunjukan bahwa media sudah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang diketahui dari lembar angket siswa yang memenuhi aspek – aspek yang ada pada lembar angket siswa dengan dikategorikan baik.
