Abstract

Sexual harassment of children is a problem that often arises in society so that it is difficult to solve and seriously threatens the lives of children or families, apart from damaging the morale of the younger generation who will later become the nation's successors, of course sexual abuse of children is a very heinous act because it will have an impact both psychologically and physique.

Abstract

This research aimed to analysis the student’s self-strategies in memorizing English Vocabulary survey study at Ponpes Al-Muwahhidin Lelede. The subject of this research was first grade VII-A of MTs Al-Muwahhidin in academic year 2022/2023. The sample of this study were 7 students. The method of this research was qualitative survey study. The technique of data collection applied in this study were interview, recording and documents. Then the procedure of data analysis was data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing and verification used the theory of Miles and Huberman 2014. The result of this research, the researcher found out the types of student’s strategies in memorizing English vocabulary. The strategies used by the students were making note strategy, repeating strategy, singing strategy and practice strategy. Therefore, the strategies used by students to remember the meaning and spelling were practice strategy, writing strategy, memorizing strategy and reading strategy.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find out how effective the use of WWH strategy on students’ writing skills in creativity. The research was quasi experimental. This research was quasi experimental research with pre-test and post-test design. Next to that, the sample was selected by using Random Sampling Technique, in which the samples were selected randomly, therefore class XI 1 as an experimental group consisted of 30 students and class XI 2 as a control group consisted of 30 students, so the number of samples in this research was 60 students. Next to that, the data collected by using writing test in the form of a descriptive text. The techniques of data analysis were use d descriptive analysis and inferential analysis by using SPSS 25 for windows. In analyzing data of the research, the researcher used t–test formula. Based on the analysis, there is a significant effect of WWH strategy (M= 84.50, SD= 5.923) higher than Mind Mapping (M= 80.50, SD= 15.500), t (1.320) = 0.58, (sig. 2 tailed) = 0.192. The researcher found the result of statistical data analysis, it showed that the mean score of experimental groups was = 84.50 and the result of control group was 80.50 and t-test (1.320) was higher than t-table (0.58), it means that 1.320>0.58 and degree of freedom (df) was 19 with significant level was 0.192. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of WWH (What-Why-How) strategy toward students’ creativity in writing at SMAN 1 Seteluk.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang tiga kekuatan utama Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammdiyah dalam menaklukan tantangan pendidikan di Era 4.0 melalui studi literatur dari jurnal-jurnal yang sesuai dengan tema. Sebagaimana kita ketahui kehidupan umat manusia selalu berdinamika mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah mengarahkan masyarakat kepada kehidupan yang radikal. Perubahan terjadi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, perilaku menyimpang mulai dianggap biasa dan mendapatkan tolerasi dari masyarakat, tatanan moral mulai dipertanyakan, serta munculnya permasalahan kemasyarakatan yang semakin komplek. Salah satu langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk mengatasi problematika tersebut adalah melalui penguatan pada sistem pendidikan di Indonesia yang berlandaskan nilai dan moral. Muhammdiyah merupakan salah satu organisasi besar yang selalu istiqomah melaksanakan dakwahnya, salah satunya melalui lembaga pendidikan Muhammdiyah. Muhammdiyah sebagai sebuah persyarikatan mempunyai 3 kekuatan utama yang dapat dioptimalkan dalam menghadapi tantangan lembaga pendidikan muhammadiyah di era 4.0 ini. Tiga kekuatan itu disebut sebagai kekuatan nilai, kekuatan sistem, dan kekuatan orang. Optimalisasi dalam mengkombinasikan dan menginternalisasikan ketiga kekuatan tersebut dalam lembaga pendidikan muhammdiyah akan mampu membuat pendidikan muhammadiyah berkontribusi, serta menjaga eksistensinya ditengah gempuran perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

The educational process from the viewpoint of the mainstream educational philosophy requires that students be able to use their abilities constructively and comprehensively to adjust to the demands of scientific and technological developments. students must actively develop knowledge, not just wait for directions and instructions from the teacher or fellow students. Educational institutions must be developed and managed properly, effectively, and efficiently. To manage and develop educational institutions so that they become better quality, and have high competitiveness can be based on the law of causality or cause and effect as a foundation for building enthusiasm so that they can work hard to achieve the vision and mission of the institution. The method used in this study uses a library method or approach (library research), Literature or literature study can be interpreted as a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording, and processing research materials. Philosophy is a science that can support all aspects of science because when someone philosophizes, that person will think broadly and have many references to knowledge. So that in determining and designing a curriculum, philosophy is needed so that what will be achieved from the curriculum can be fulfilled. In developing an educational curriculum, it is required to know some of the right foundations to determine a step for making a curriculum, the foundations in educational philosophy are divided into 3, namely; ontology, epistemology, and axiology. So the curriculum is made to clarify all forms of learning activities to achieve educational goals.

Abstract

Advertising has to be made as attractive as possible to boost product sales. There are many ways to create attractive advertising content, one of which is by creating headlines and subheadlines with captivating language. One of the companies that managed to write headlines and subheadlines with captivating language is Oriflame, a cosmetics company from Sweden. Oriflame's product advertising headlines and subheadlines use the maxim violation to create compelling implicatures. This study aimed to analyze the maxim violation and how the implicature resulted from the maxim violations. This research used descriptive qualitative methods and interpretation methods in determining implicature. The result showed that copywriters violate all the maxims, namely maxim of quality, quantity, relevance, and manner . Metaphor, personification, sinekdoke and alusion is applied to violate maxim of manner. Implicature resulting from the maxim violation is then freely translated by the consumer. The message tried to tell in Oriflame's advertising implicature was in the form of ideas about femininity and beauty that are popular among women. That's what made women easily capture the implicature so that they are interested in buying their products.

Abstract

The introduction of English from the beginning is based on a pedagogical concept that the earlier a person is introduced to the target language, the faster and better the child's mastery and acquisition of the language being learned. But unfortunately, the policy of teaching English as a local content subject has not been accompanied by maximum effort from the school. Both in the form of knowledge and teaching skills as well as teacher education qualifications. This condition certainly affects the quality of learning carried out. This study is aimed to describe the use of classroom languages in teaching English used by English teacher in MI Al-Amin Pejeruk, Mataram city. In this research, the writers use descriptive qualitative method. The techniques of data collection in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. The writers use data reduction, data display and data conclusion to analyze the data. The finding shows that the use of classroom languages became one of the effective strategy in teaching English. Through relevant classroom language, children can work together and communicate in learning.

Abstract

Filsafat dianggap sebagai sebuah ilmu yang membingungkan. Dangkalnya pemahaman terhadap filsafat menyebabkan munculnya permasalahan yang berkelanjutan. Apalagi pemahaman mengenai keterkaitan antara filsafat ilmu, hukum, agama dan teknologi yang jika tidak dijabarkan secara logis dan rasional ini akan berdampak sangat sensitif terhadap kekaburan serta kelemahan-kelemahan dalam hubungan filsafat dengan ilmu lainya di Era Millenial seperti sekarang ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah relasi antara filsafat ilmu, hukum, agama dan teknologi. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan dan conseptual approach. Hasil penelitian ini selanjutnya dianalisis secara kualtitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh fakta bahwa filsafat ilmu, hukum, agama dan juga teknologi saling berkaitan. Keterkaitan tersebut terletak pada sudut pandang manusia untuk memanifestasikan bentuk dari ilmu, hukum, agama dan juga teknologi itu sendiri. Ini disebut sebagai ideologi karena berasal dari sistem gagasan-gagasan yang diterima proses pemikiran manusia. Ilmu dapat memprakarsai lahirnya hukum karena ilmu hukum adalah ilmu yang objeknya hukum, yang menelaah hukum sebagai fenomena kehidupan manusia. Di mana ilmu hukum menempatkan agama pada sumber tertinggi, yakni keyakinan manusia kepada Tuhanya atas apa yang boleh dijalankan dan apa yang dilarang, sedangkan hukum (peraturan-peraturan) sendiri merupakan bentuk teknologi sosial, dan fenomena yang universal dengan dasar agama sebagai perumusan kebijakanya, sebab di dunia ini sudut pandang keyakinan masyarakat terhadap Tuhannya berbeda-beda. Dari sisi teknologi, menempatkan hukum itu sebagai alat rekayasa sosial (law as tool of social engineering).

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the cooperative principle by observing the speech of the fifth semester students of UNDIKMA. Qualitative descriptive method is used in analyzing the data because it will be explained with words, phrases, and sentences. The data will be based on the words of the fifth semester students at UNDIKMA. In collecting data, the researcher used observational and non-participatory methods, and also taking notes. The pragmatic identity method is applied in analyzing the data. The findings show that the four maxims in the cooperative principle are found through the utterances of fifth semester students at UNDIKMA.The researcher found four maxims. The results showed that the maxim of quantity, maxim of relation, maxim of quality and maxim of manner. In conclusion, the most frequent data found in the maxim of quantity and the least data found in the maxim of manner.

Abstract

Budaya disiplin sekolah merupakan hal yang positif dan harus dipertahankan, dilaksanakan oleh semua warga sekolah tanpa merasa terpaksa. Budaya sekolah yang harus dipertahankan salah satunya adalah masalah kedisiplinan, termasuk disiplin para guru dalam kehadiran dikelas pada proses belajar mengajar. Untuk  meningkatkan  disiplin  para  guru  dapat  diupayakan  melalui  berbagai cara gaya mengajarnya. Dalam Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) ini, dicobakan tindakan dengan penerapan budaya didiplin guru mengajar dikelas melaui komitmen dan apresiasi di SMP Negeri 2 Muntok kabupaten Bangka Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, karena dari hasil penelitian dan analisa data, ternyata pada siklus kedua, kedisiplinan guru dalam kehadiran dikelas pada proses belajar mengajar meningkat dan memenuhi indikator yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 75%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan disiplin guru dalam kehadiran dikelas pada kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat dilakukan dengan penerapan Komitmen dan Apresisi.
