Abstract

The use of social media today is not only functioned for personal interests, but also for the benefit of groups, organizations, and state institutions in terms of public services as conducted by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu who utilize social media as a medium of public service in Bengkulu province. It is interesting to study about the new "concept" that is applied in the process of public service, especially one of the challenges that faced by these institutions is the lack of public understanding of the existence of these institutions, so that innovation is basically needed in reaching out to the community and carrying out the role as a state institution with totality in carrying out public services as an objective of the existence of this state institution. This research was conducted to see how the social media was utilized by Ombudsman RI Bengkulu in conducting public services as a form of innovation in public service by Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. The research method was using a qualitative descriptive approach where the research results were analyzed by using the theory of diffusion of innovations. The research subjects in this case are the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu, and the social media users who have accessed the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu social media page, which is proven by digital traces left in the form of likes and comments on the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu Social media. The four elements in the innovation diffusion process show the innovations that applied in the public service process by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu and how the utilization of these innovations in the public service process by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. Innovation in this regard is related to the use of social media as a medium for socialization and raising complaints in the process of public service by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. It is said as a form of innovation because the process of public services that is usually done traditionally both directly and through traditional media so that it costs quite a lot, with the use of social media can be done more easily, quickly and efficiently. Keywords—: Innovation; Service; Public; Social Media; Ombudsman RI Gender Bengkulu.

Abstract

Abstrak : Artikel ini dirangkum dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan beberapa waktu yang lalu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses UKM yang ada saat ini dalam melanjutkan kegiatan usaha nya ditengah keadaan covid 19 ini, UKM dalam hal ini adalah UKM yang berada di lingkungan rumah yang berlokasi di betungan kota Bengkulu.UKM Pelita merupakan salah satu jenis UKM rumah tangga yang telah menjalankan kegiatan nya sejak tahun 2007. UKM ini bergerak di penyediaan hasil produksi makanan tradisional yakni sanjai dan beberapa olahan lainnya yang berasal dari singkong/ketela. Dalam kegiatannya UKM sanjai telah memiliki 8 orang tenaga kerja, yang berasal dari lingkungan setempat. Masa pandemi covid 19 ini tentu sangat berdampak secara langsung pada UKM pelita, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Hal inilah yang mendorong dilaksanakan nya pengabdian ini. Untuk dapat memberikan motivasi dan pengetahuan teknologi guna mengembangkan UKM Pelita dimasa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Penanggulangan Kekerasan Seksual Oleh Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak, Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3A PPKB) Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Provinsi Bengkulu. Kabupaten ini merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang tergolong tinggi angka kekerasan seksualnya, yaitu urutan ke 2 dari 10 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Berdadasarkan taraf penjelasannya, maka tipe penelitian adalah deskriptif yang lebih mendalam). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi,  wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 3 Program penanggulangan Kekerasan Seksual terhadap Anak yang dilakukan oleh DP3A PPKB Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Yaitu ; Program Satgas Perlindungan Anak Terpadu Berbasis Masyarakat (PATBM), Satgas Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA), dan Sistem Informasi Online (SIMFONI). Penanggulangan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong melalui tiga program tersebut tidak berjalan optimal. Terdapat empat kelemahan utama dalam pelaksanaan program yaitu; Kurangnya sumber daya manusia; Belum optimalnya kegiatan pelatihan bagi unsur penjabat di DP3A PPKB, PATBM dan Satgas PPA, Minimnya pelibatan organisasi masyarakat atau lembaga swadaya masyarakat yang bergerak di bidang perlindungan perempuan dan anak; dan Belum adanya koordinasi yang terjalin antara DP3A PPKB Kabupaten Rejang Lebong dengan DP3A PPKB Provinsi Bengkulu. kata kunci : penanggulangan, kekerasan seksual, terhadap anak

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the stunting prevention program in North Bengkulu Regency through the AGIL concept proposed by Talcot Parsons in the theory of Structural Functionalism. This study uses a qualitative research approach, with case studies. The type of research used is a more in-depth descriptive. Research data were collected through observation techniques, unstructured interviews and document collection. Research informants were determined through purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there were 4 stunting prevention programs in North Bengkulu Regency, namely maternal and child health service programs, nutrition counseling programs and supplementary feeding, social protection programs and sanitation and clean water programs through the use of village funds. These four programs were able to reduce stunting rates in the research locations. Implementation of the program is emphasized on the process of community empowerment. The main targets are changes in personal health behavior and environmental health behavior. The process of adaptation, goal setting, integration, and pattern maintenance are also fairly well systemized in the program realization process. In the future, program implementation needs to be accompanied by the economic maturity of the community.

Abstract

The phenomenon of coastal community life is always characterized by poverty and helplessness. The fishing community as a relatively dominant feature of the coastal community is often overwhelmed by unstable economic problems. This situation is very fantastic and contradictory, because the natural conditions that have the potential and abundant natural resources. The focus of this research is on the role of women who have a role as housewife and also as manager and marketing of catch fish from men. This study uses qualitative analysis which aims to reveal the problems that exist as detailed as possible on the condition of young coastal women with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research is the ability and role of young woman is still low, just as fish seller only without doing any recondition again also not accommodate potential area that can be cultivated become income source, impressed not creative managing potency, have pragmatic thinking and minimal skill and leads to consumptive behavior. Cultures and values built across generations of women emphasize the role of women in support of husbands but have not developed logical mechanization that creativity, knowledge and expertise are essential to building a prosperous family. The systems and networks of existing programs related to the development of women are numerous but have no coherence to the development goals and their usefulness. Here it is necessary to sharpen all systems and values so that dynamic changes are needed to change the existing conditions. Keywords: culture, poverty, young women, value system.

Abstract

Along with level of social media fame that higer than before, we cannot deny that now there is an expansion of social media "functions", where the social media is not only used as a medium of self-existence, but also the existence of groups, institutions and state institutions. Used not only for individual interests, but also for economic, social, political, and cultural interests. One of the social media functions “now” is the function of public services, where the social media is used as a medium of public service by institutions and state institutions like Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. Digital-based services through the internet network are carried out by Ombudsman RI Bengkulu as a way to reach the community. Such as through Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram. Digital-based services via the internet by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu can be said a manifestation of the Ombudsman service innovation to the public. Therefore it is interesting to see about how far the social media is used by the Indonesian Ombudsman Bengkulu for public service purposes. This study is a qualitative study that seeks to analyze and describe the use of Instagram in public services by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. The results showed that social media, by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu, was used as a medium for socializing and raising complaints in the process of public service. Besides being used as a media for public services, there are positive and negative impacts arising from the use of social media in the public service process by the Ombudsman RI Bengkulu. However, the use of social media is considered effective and is considered to be able to facilitate the process of public service, besides that it is also a manifestation of the diffusion of innovation in the public service process by the Indonesian Ombudsman Bengkulu. Abstract

Kegiatan membentuk kemandirian perempuan pedesaan melalui pelatihan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut : (1) Memberikan memotivasi kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga untuk memanfaatkan potensi dan kreatifitas yang dimiliki untuk mengelola barang yang tidak berguna menjadi kreatifitas yang memiliki nilai, meminimalkan pengeluaran bahkan bisa menambah penghasilan dengan mengelola sampah rumah tangga (botol plastik bekas ) menjadi barang yang bisa digunakan dan bernilai ekonomis dalam hal ini pot bunga (2) Melatih perempuan khususnya ibu rumah tangga tentang cara pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi hal yang bisa dimanfaatkan dalam hal ini pot bunga unik yang bernilai ekonomis, dan. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan PPM adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Talang Berangin. Kec. Kinal Kab. Bengkulu Selatan sebanyak 20 orang. Metode kegiatan PPM menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi. Langkah-langkah kegiatan PPM adalah ceramah untuk menjelaskan kajian sampah, jenis sampah, dan sumber sampah, pengelolaan sampah dan 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle), serta pengelolaan sampah ruamh tangga (botol plastik bekas) menjadi pot bunga, dilanjutkan tanya jawab, demonstrasi pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi pot bunga. Faktor pendukung kegiatan pengabdian adalah adanya dukungan dari Kepala Desa, Ibu Ketua PKK, dan antusiasme peserta pengabdian, sedangkan faktor penghambat kegiatan adalah keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan baik dan berhasil, dilihat dari keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pelatihan (100%), ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan (80%), ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan (80%), dan kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi (80%). Kegiatan pengabdian dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu rumah tangga tentang pengelolaan sampah menjadi barang yang bisa digunakan yaitu pot bunga serta memberdayakan mereka dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga (botol plastik bekas) menjadi pot bunga
