Abstract

Health development aims to increase awareness, will and ability to live healthily for everyone in order to achieve the highest possible level of health. Simultaneously with the implementation of health development, various health problems emerged. One of the factors that triggers health problems is the lack of public awareness of clean and healthy living habits. The results of a survey conducted by the community service team in Kota Wetan Village revealed several health problems such as high cases of hypertension and a lack of clean and healthy living behavior. These behaviors include rarely doing physical activity, consuming foods high in sugar, salt and fat. Apart from that, the implementation of Posbindu in Kota Wetan Village is still not optimal. Based on this, the initial level intervention to overcome the above problems is the implementation of posbinndu in each RW. Posbindu can run well if health cadres as posbindu managers have the knowledge and skills in managing posbindu. Taking these problems into account, the agreed intervention was the implementation of training for health cadres in optimizing the role of health cadres as posbindu managers. The aim of the activity is to increase the knowledge and abilities of health cadres in managing posbindu. The results of the activity showed that the average knowledge value before the activity was 61 points and the average value after the activity was 89 points. There was an increase in knowledge after health education was carried out by 28 points. The follow-up plan for this activity is that it is hoped that the Guntur Community Health Center will be able to carry out training activities for cadres on a regular basis. It is hoped that Kota Wetan Village will continue to provide support, so that the programs that have been implemented will continue to run

To achieve this training goal, the community service program involving faculty and students is designed in five sessions:1. Training socialization.2. Explaining the concept of improving critical thinking skills through training on creating educational videos.3. Training on creating educational videos. 4. Practice creating Catholic Religious Education (PAK) instructional videos. 5. Evaluation of the training implementation to assess the students' knowledge development. The training on the creation of educational videos includes the collection of feedback from the participants on the video creation process in order to improve the critical thinking skills of the students. The goal of this training is for students to be able to create educational videos that enhance their critical thinking skills. The impact of this training is that students will gain knowledge about creating educational videos and show an improvement in critical thinking skills in the process of creating engaging videos that are consistent with the characteristics of PAK learning.

Abstract

Non-Communicable Diseases are still a concern because they cause premature death (before 70 years) in middle and low income countries. The risk factors for this disease include hypertension and obesity. This mentoring program aims to increase the capacity of cadres to help control hypertension and obesity not only in the context of checking blood pressure and body weight and height but also in providing education about the importance of reducing hypertension and obesity rates as risk factors for NCDs. The method used in this Community Service program is Community-Based Research (CBR), namely providing health education accompanied by a pre-test and post-test before and after the health education activity. This program was attended by 10 cadres as part of the Pimpinan Cabang Aisyiyah, Mangkubumi District, Tasikmalaya City and 40 Posbindu PTM "Boulevard" participants. Based on the results of the analysis of pre-test and post-test answers which assess knowledge about Obesity and Hypertension, it can be concluded that the health education "Knowing Obesity and Hypertension" is effective in increasing knowledge about the importance of preventing and controlling Obesity and Hypertension.

Abstract

Mobility or mobilization is a person's ability to move and carry out activities easily, freely and regularly to meet their daily needs, either independently, with the help of others, or only with the help of tools. The factors that affect mobility are starting a lifestyle if the lifestyle is not healthy such as from food, lack of exercise and lack of free movement can affect a person's mobility, age and developmental status if a person's age is increasing and developmental status such as decreased muscle strength can affect mobility in contrast to a young age who has strong energy in moving (Asyifa, 2023). Therefore, the goals we give to the elderly with physical mobility disorders are in the form of an appropriate and effective way to carry out Range Of Motion (ROM) Training, This community service aims to describe the application of ROM exercises in patients with physical mobility disorders. The form of this scientific paper is in the form of a case study on 4 patients who experience physical mobility disorders. The research instrument was in the form of a family knowledge sheet about ROM exercises. This case study was conducted for 4 days with a frequency of 1 time a day with ROM training intervention. The results of the case study showed that the problem of physical mobility disorders experienced by 4 respondents, there were 2 respondents who experienced an increase and 2 respondents who did not experience an increase in muscle strength after doing ROM exercises. The conclusion of therapy (ROM) may increase muscle strength in some respondents. Advice for families is expected to always provide assistance during implementation so that it can be a support system for respondents so that they can help respondents in doing ROM exercises at home.
