Abstract

The purpose of this activity focuses on mentoring partners who are a group of processed Telang Flower products in Sawocangkring Village, Sidoarjo. In the previous program, efforts were made to introduce village products through registering business locations on Google Business and Google Maps, as well as registering for Halal Certification. In this increasingly developing digital era, it affects the competitiveness of MSMEs, especially in gaining consumer trust in the products they sell. In this case, partners already have products that are halal certified, but do not yet have a trademark. The problems faced by partners in registering trademarks are that in addition to the lack of understanding of the importance of trademarks, there are several requirements that are difficult to do, for example, creating a logo that will be registered as a trademark. Therefore, this community service program provides mentoring in the field of business management and digital marketing to improve partners' knowledge and skills in managing businesses and marketing products effectively and efficiently. This activity also involves students in off-campus experiences and fulfills lecturers' obligations in community service related to IKU. Thus, this activity can contribute to improving the partner's economy and creating a more sustainable business area.

Abstract

Tolerance is respecting and accepting differences in opinions, culture, religion and other values. In an increasingly diverse society, character education becomes very important to create individuals who can live side by side peacefully. Unfortunately, the value of tolerance in Indonesia is starting to fade, and many cases of intolerance occur in various circles. The government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, has intensified character education programs at all levels of education, including early childhood education (PAUD). This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of teachers and parents of KB 'Aisyiyah Surya Melati students in forming children's character through storytelling activities using the Wayang Kancil media to instill the values of tolerance in early childhood. Through this training, it is hoped that it can form a tolerant character in children from an early age. The method used in implementation was socialization and training with a total of 25 participants consisting of teachers and parents of KB 'Aisyiyah Surya Melati students.  The results of the activity showed a significant increase in understanding and storytelling skills for teachers and parents. Through these training activities, we succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of teachers and parents in storytelling by using the Wayang Kancil media to instill the values of tolerance in young children. It is hoped that this activity can support the formation of children's tolerant, intelligent and ethical character.

Promotion is an activity that must always be carried out, considering that the purpose is not only to introduce new products but also as a reminder for consumers and the public of the existence of the product. Tempeh chips are a traditional regional food, where this peculiarity needs to be promoted. The methods that will be used in this service program include problem identification, discussions with partners, providing business training which includes digital marketing and promotion with digital media and market place platforms.

This activity was conducted on May 17, 2024, involving 32 individuals with DM in the Kopri Health Center working area, Sungai Raya Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The methodology included target group surveys, preparation of facilities and infrastructure, implementation of activities, and evaluation. The results were categorized as good (46.88%), satisfactory (37.50%), and unsatisfactory (15.62%). This indicates that the Android-based Exercise Control Application for DM patients is user-friendly and has the potential to increase the motivation of patients with DM to engage in daily physical activities, thereby helping to maintain stable blood sugar levels and reduce the risk of serious complications such as diabetic foot ulcers.

Abstract

Businesses must be able to carry out marketing activities effectively. Some marketing activities that must be implemented effectively are segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies. Tempe SS  stands for Tempe Santri Sirajussa’adah, one of the Business Unit’s brands at the Sirajussa'adah Islamic Boarding School. It is considered one of the micro-scale businesses in the Limo Depok area. Even though they have carried out the production process for product distribution and marketing activities, it is still not financially independent and relies on donations. The priority problem based on the discussions is the lack of knowledge and skills in marketing segmentation and targeting strategies. Socialization regarding digital knowledge and segmentation and targeting strategies were conducted in two steps. The first was related to digital marketing material, and it continued with socialization on segmentation and targeting strategy. The analysis results of the segmentation and targeting strategy socialization activities were recorded as increasing partners' understanding of digital marketing by 61.68% and increasing partners' knowledge of segmentation and targeting strategy by 72.68%. In other words, this community service was able to have an impact on the increasing understanding of Partners beyond the initial target expected. This result is expected to help the management of the Tempe SS business unit increase its business income and scale from 'micro' status to 'small' business.
