Abstract

The development and improvement of teaching innovation aim to bring an enjoyable, joyful, active, and creative atmosphere for students to increase and improve their achievement. Teaching media that support student's creativity and critical thinking are needed to facilitate teachers presenting the learning material. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can introduce media to increase students' learning motivation. This program instructs teachers in using Macromedia flash software to create learning media applications for the physics units. It was conducted in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Dau Malang. An instrument to observe the teaching situation is an interview with the teacher. Information from the interview, students have high motivation during their practice in the lab, but the opposite occurs in the class. The result of this program is an attractive teaching media application created by using Macromedia Flash software.

Abstract

Changes will occur in the human body with increasing age. Body changes arise from early life to old age in all organs and tissues. This condition can also be seen in the joint system associated with arthritis. The introduction of disease and arthritis treatment through extension methods needs to be done to the public to raise awareness of maintaining joint health. People who participate in this awareness-raising program are given pre and posttest related to the cause of arthritis, arthritis treatment, and how to take them appropriately to reduce the side effects of the drugs that can occur. Based on the analysis of the scores from the test, it was found that there was a significant increase in public knowledge before and after the program. The community also checks uric acid levels as an initial screening for gout signs, which is one of the most common arthritis in the community. Thus, the public has a better understanding of arthritis and joint health conditions based on examining uric acid levels.

Abstract

Cikurutug Village, Cireunghas District, Sukabumi Regency, to be precise in RW 1, has problems related to the availability of clean water. The water in the reservoir used by the residents comes from a small river. The water flow is not directly from the mountains or springs but results from soil seepage due to the extensive loosening of the land around the river, resulting in turbid water. This is undoubtedly very dangerous for the health of residents, because of course, it will invite diseases such as dysentery, typhus, and so on. To solve this problem, water filtration is carried out using simple tools that have been designed and then assisted by a water filtration device. The filtration results resulted in an increase in water quality, which would then continue to be used by residents. This filtration device must be maintained to keep the water quality still good.

Abstract

The business development that is getting faster needs continuous improvements. Implementation of continuous improvement is carried out in large companies and needs to be carried out by MSMEs (Medium Small Micro Enterprises). One activity that needs to be appropriately managed by MSMEs is warehousing. Optimal warehouse management can improve MSME business performance. However, MSMEs do not own knowledge and awareness of continuous improvement optimally. This resulted in warehouse management has not performed optimally by MSMEs. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to MSMEs about how to identify Muda, Mura, Muri and how to make continuous improvements in warehouse management. Implementing activities is carried out by direct observation and counseling to MSMEs. This community service activity was carried out for two days. The counseling activity was carried out on April 27, attended by owners and employees of Puppet MSMEs in Bogor. The counseling was carried out by providing material on the concept of continuous improvement and identification of Muda, Mura, Muri and continued with a discussion session.

Abstract

Bendolo Village is one of the villages located in Sawahan District, Nganjuk Regency. Many of the people of Bendolo Village cultivate taro plants, but the yields are not used optimally. The crops are only sold raw at low prices due to limitations in processing or utilization. Ignorance of taro processing technology makes taro plants just planted and not a priority in processing. The crops are only sold fresh. People rarely process it in the form of food or snacks. Hence, community service activities (PKM) aim to increase the knowledge and income of the family welfare empowerment group (PKK) by utilizing the diversification of processed taro into taro noodles and taro chips. Implementing the community service uses lectures, discussions, and direct demonstrations related to taro processed products. The activities began with a demonstration of raw material handling, how to use the noodle grinder and mixing materials to packaging and storage. The result of the training is that almost 100% of the family welfare empowerment group (partners) can make taro processed and pack it well.

Abstract

The outbreak of corruption cases of COVID-19 funds from the Village, Regency to Ministry level, has direct implications for the death rate, especially early childhood, which reached 43.7% of total child deaths during the COVID-19 period or 0.85% of total deaths confirmed positive. Numeration and literacy as the minimum competencies of students have been widely discussed. However, literacy and numeracy specific to the field of anti-corruption have not been widely applied by both teachers and students. This Community Empowerment Program aims to increase the literacy and numeracy empowerment of partner groups through anti-corruption learning media innovation training. This PPM partner group is TK ABA Komplek Masjid Perak Kotagede Yogyakarta which consists of 20 teachers with undergraduate education. Data analysis techniques are used to measure the level of empowerment of partners in the anti-corruption literacy and numeracy fields. The Community Empowerment results show that improving anti-corruption literacy and numeracy competencies in children's stories have only reached the innovative and creative stages but have not yet reached digital technology-based. This is because online training during the Covid-19 era did not support interactive multimedia laboratories as literacy tools and children's numeracy stories based on digital technology. Community Empowerment Program results have changed the learning of anti-corruption literacy and numeracy during the COVID-19 pandemic to be more enjoyable to reduce the risk of stress and anxiety in children and increase immunity.

Abstract

Living in the digital age makes graphic design one of the skills that people, especially teenagers, must have. Graphic design can be a necessity in various fields, one of which is in the area of da'wah. Graphic design is an art form that has a goal as a form of a solution in solving communication problems by utilizing graphic elements, such as colors, lines, shapes, and others. As a designer, several things need to be prepared, such as insight, skills, sensitivity, and creativity. The areas of graphic design competence that must be mastered are attitudes, knowledge, skills, sensitivity, talent, and creativity to produce various exciting forms of work. Then, someone who has design skills must be strategic and tactical by; having the skills or abilities for graphic design not only can increase creativity or the artistic ability for someone but can also be a way to increase one's creativity in designing messages or content, which is used as da'wah which can broadcast Islamic teachings and Muhammadiyah values in today's digital era. Through this activity, PC IPM Medan Area will gain knowledge, understanding, and create graphic designs.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries set as a corona disaster emergency with the increasing Covid-19 case. One of the factors that caused an increase in Covid-19 cases was the lack of public awareness in implementing 5-M prevention behavior using masks, hand washing using soap and running water, keeping distance, staying away from the crowd, and limiting mobilization and interaction) in his daily life can be a risk transmission in society. Therefore, an approach was carried out in increasing public awareness of the new normal adaptation in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic condition by promoting the "4G Movement" (Go Green, Go Health, Go Clean and Go Smart) at the UPTD Puskesmas Tangkililing carried out by the Faculty Team Medicine of Palangka Raya University. This activity aims to increase public awareness and understanding of the importance of good health behavior by applying a strict health protocol in the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic as a step in supporting government programs and maintaining personal, family, and community health in anticipation of the spread of Covid-19. It implements this activity in the form of a lecture/socialization, demonstration, free pocket book distribution, and educational video playback in animation. This activity runs smoothly and occurs interactive dialogue with respondents in the UPTD Puskemas environment. The 4G movement is one of the programs that contribute positively and can be applied by the community in increasing compliance in implementing a health protocol.

Abstract

Adolescence is a sensitive development or critical period for normative and maladaptive development patterns. Reproductive health is an essential issue for adolescents because every phase of adolescent development has developmental tasks that must be fulfilled. Implementing the activity is a combination of health education and peer group discussion using my health report book as the media. The results of community service activities were four teenagers (20%) who were at the level of knowledge both before being given health education and peer group discussions with my health report book media and after being shown an increase of 17 teenagers (85%). Then as many as seven teenagers (35%) were at the level of sufficient knowledge before being given health education and peer group discussion with my health report book media. After being offered only three teenagers (15%) who were at the level of sufficient knowledge. At the level of lack of knowledge before being given counseling and peer group discussion with my health report book media as many as nine teenagers (45%) at level of lack of knowledge and after being given, there were no teenagers at the level of lack of knowledge so it can be concluded that the combination of health education and peer group discussion with media My health report card is an alternative choice in increasing adolescent knowledge about reproductive health.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the cessation of implementing the Integrated Healthcare Center (Posyandu) program in Wonokromo 1, Wonokromo, Pleret Bantul. In contrast, the early period of life, including infancy and children, is a critical period of body and brain growth. Any nutritional problems could lead to serious nutritional problems and low intelligence. Therefore, this service program aims to optimize posyandu activities by arranging the training for cadres to support toddlers’ growth in the Covid-19 pandemic era. The training included anthropometric measurements and analysis of growth charts for children under five for posyandu’s cadres. This activity was attended by 15 posyandu cadres and delivered by using discussion, simulation, and demonstration methods. It was found that the cadres still made some mistakes in measuring weight, body length, height, and head circumference, so they were given a demonstration of the correct measurement methods. The cadres are also trained to interpret the data in growth charts and explain their follow-up. The result of this activity is the enhancement in knowledge and skills in anthropometric measurements and growth charts interpretation by Posyandu’s cadres obtained from written tests and direct observations of the anthropometric measurements process and growth charts interpretation. It is expected that this activity will assist cadres in getting the correct measurement results to detect nutritional problems in toddlers quickly and accurately. Thus, they can be handled immediately and not cause severe dietary issues.
