Abstract

This research examines the moral and legal dialectics in viewing abortion as well as the construction of abortion policy in the Indonesian criminal law system after the passing of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code and Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The method used is a normative research method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The research results show that abortion cannot only be viewed in legal terms, but it is important to pay attention to moral aspects. Law is a law that is filled with morality so that it does not result in conflict between norms and society. Morality is the main source of law, especially in Indonesia which is based on Pancasila in all aspects of state life. Next, Indonesia's criminal law policy allows abortion under strict conditions, namely if the woman is a victim of a crime of rape or other crime of sexual violence that causes pregnancy, the gestational age does not exceed the permitted age, and/or has indications of a medical emergency. If the conditions are not met, then the perpetrator of the abortion, whether the main perpetrator, the participating perpetrator, and the person who assists in carrying out the abortion, can be punished

Abstract

A construction project is a combination of cost, tools, and labor resources where in the process, the project owner works closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure that the project is of the right quality, time, and cost. In the process of implementing a construction project, of course, various problems will be found. One of the problems is Variation Order or less work. This study aims to find the factors that cause itVariation Order and impact Variation Order on project implementation both in terms of cost and implementation time in the Lavaya Nusa Dua-Bali Apartment project. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, where the data used in this research is only secondary data. Based on the results of this study it can be seen that 87.5% of all VO that occurs is dominated by construction factors caused by party requests owner. In addition, the impact of VO work also affects costs and time, where the impact of VO on costs causes an additional cost of 1,194% from the initial contract value of IDR 108,569,930,859.70 to IDR 109,866,110,410.02. Furthermore, for the impact on time, which has no impact on the overall project completion time target but has a direct impact on the contractor for the duration of work handover which has been delayed for 38 working days, from the initial duration of 99 working days to 62 working days.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital employed, human capital, structural capital on financial performance in manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sector including the cement sub-sector and the ceramics, porcelain and glass sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2022. The sampling technique used in this study uses data collection techniques with certain considerations (purposive sampling), namely manufacturing companies in the basic and chemical industry sectors including the cement sub-sector and the ceramics, porcelain and glass sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020-2022. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis method. The hypothesis tests used are t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that Capital Employed and Structural Capital had no effect on Financial Performance. This proves that if the capital and structure used by the company changes, financial performance will not change or remain. While Human Capital has an effect on Financial Performance. This is because the company has the ability to utilize the quality of its human resources, the lack of salaries and benefits provided by the company to employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the combination of silica and paklobutrazaol on increasing cayenne pepper production. The research was conducted in North Lombok at an altitude of 300 m above sea level with dry, sandy soil conditions. The research was carried out for 7 months, from May to October 2023. The materials used were free-pollen cayenne pepper of the CBR 25 variety, liquid silica, and paclobutrazole. The research design used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK). The first factor is paclobutrazol, which consists of 3 levels of treatment: without paklobutrazol, paclobutrazol 250 ppm, and paclobutrazol 500 ppm. The second factor is silica with two levels, namely without silica and 2 ml/L silica. The results showed that silica application resulted in growth that was not significantly different in plant height, diameter, and canopy width but significantly different in the percentage of flower fall and fruit set per plant. Plants applied with silica gave a smaller percentage of flower fall than without silica at 12.17%, and fruit weight per plant was heavier at 182.75 gr/plant. Giving paclobutrazol to plants gave significantly different results in plant height, stem diameter, crown width, number of flowers, percentage of flower drop, number of fruit, and fruit weight per plant. From the results, it can be seen that the treatment with 500 ppm paclobutrazol gave the highest number of flowers, number of fruits, and fruit weight compared to other treatments. The interaction between silica and paclobutrazol gave results that were not significantly different except for plant height.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the development of poverty and inequality of population expenditure in West Nusa Tenggara. The research method used is descriptive research using secondary data from 2014-2021. The analysis technique used in this study was analyzing data using tables related to the aspects studied: population expenditure data analysis to determine inequality occurrence using the Gini efficiency and the World Bank criteria. The results show that the development of the number of poor people has always decreased, with the number of poor people in rural areas being smaller than in urban areas. The distribution of the poverty line in both urban and rural areas averaged more than 70% for food needs, the remaining less than 30% for non-food needs. On average, the percentage of poor people during 2014-2021 for urban and rural areas is 15,15%. The average poverty depth index (P1) was 2.700 for urban and rural areas, and the average poverty severity index (P2) during the year was 0,670%.The average inequality of population expenditure based on the Gini coefficient is 0.379 for urban and rural areas, which is “moderate”. Based on World Bank criteria, inequality of population expenditure in rural areas is classified as “mild or low inequality,” while in urban areas, it is classified as “moderate inequality.” Expenditure inquality for rural and urban areas is classified as “mild or low inequality.”

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the process of collecting and calculating land and building rights acquisition tax (BPHTB) in the Sumbawa Regency area. This research uses qualitative methods, with an interpretive descriptive approach. There were 5 informants for this research. Then, the data collection techniques used were documentation and interviews. Then the analysis technique used is data reduction and data presentation. The results of this research are that BPHTB revenues have increased and exceeded the targets set by the Sumbawa Regency Regional Revenue Agency. Obstacles in collecting BPHTB tax are from the Taxpayer, Human Resources, lack of information and communication about regional taxation to the community, many transactions in Sumbawa Regency are still under NJOPTKP so that BPHTB tax payments are nil, national influence (sluggish level of property buying and selling in the community) Furthermore, there was an increase in the BPHTB tax contribution from 2019-2021 and decreased in 2022. In detail, in 2019 the realization was Rp. 2,201,502,827.00 with a target of Rp. 4,000,000,000.00, while in 2020 the realization reached Rp. 5,895,852,816.00, with a target of Rp. 4,700,000,000. Furthermore, in 2021 the realization was IDR. 4,180,093,825.00, with a target of Rp. 4,000,000,000, and in 2022 the realization was Rp. 10,015,983,797.00 with a target of Rp. 8,240,000,000.00.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Dopang Village, Gunung Sari District, West Lombok Regency, aiming to analyze the factors that simultaneously influence production and analyze the production factors that most dominantly influence peanut production in Dopang Village. The number of respondents used was 45 people, which was carried out by census, where the entire population was taken as a sample. Data analysis used multiple Cobb-Douglass linear analysis. Multiple linear results are combined with the classical assumption test. The research results show that: 1). Simultaneously the production factors include land area, seeds, fertilizer, pesticides and labor. has a significant effect on the production of peanut farming in. Dopang Village This can be seen from the test results using the Cobb-duoglass production function, obtained F count of 82.228> F table (0.05)= 1.96, or significant (sig = 0.00 < 0.05. 2). partial production factors: land area and use of KCL fertilizer which have a dominant influence on high production. This can be seen from the calculated t value of the land area compared to the T table, namely (5.576> 1.96), and the use of KCL fertilizer, the calculated t is greater than in the T table, namely 6.116> 1.96, but the number of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and labor influence the production of peanut farming in Dopang Village, Gunung Sari District, West Lombok Regency but are not significant. From the research results, it can be suggested: 1). Farmers can still increase their peanut farming production by expanding the planting area, 2). Farmers can still add KCL fertilizer because its use is still lower than what is recommended.

Abstract

Welfare is a fundamental right of every individual. However, access to this right can vary depending on the context and culture of society. Formal welfare guaranteed by the state through laws and formal institutions such as government agencies often fails to reach the population evenly, especially in rural areas and small towns. On the other hand, informal welfare, which relies on social relationships, kinship, and community trust, can be an alternative for those who struggle to access formal welfare. However, informal welfare also has its weaknesses and may not fully meet individual needs. Therefore, this paper attempts to discuss the differences between formal and informal welfare in terms of access and societal practices. Research findings indicate that formal welfare has weaknesses such as difficulties in addressing all of society's needs and inflexibility in dealing with complex issues, unlike informal welfare, which offers more flexibility and adaptability. Thus, there is a need for synergy between formal and informal welfare, which can be achieved through various means. Firstly, by enhancing access and community involvement in formal welfare programs. Secondly, by recognizing and leveraging the potential of informal welfare. Thirdly, by integrating formal and informal welfare into development policies. This integration can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of development programs and help address uncertainties, access inequalities, and limitations in resource capacity and quality
