Kata Muwazah berasal dari bahasa Arab yaitu (??????) yang memiliki arti kesetaraan. Jurnal ini fokus pada isu-isu aktual dan kontemporer yang berkaitan dengan kajian gender lokalitas dalam berbagai perspektif. Redaksi mengundang para ilmuwan, sarjana, professional, praktisi dan peneliti dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu yang konsern terhadap kajian gender berupa analisis, aplikasi teori, hasil penelitian, terjemahan, resensi buku, literature review untuk mempublikasikan hasil karya ilmiahnya setelah melalui mekanisme seleksi naskah, telaah mitra bebestari, dan proses penyuntingan. Jurnal ini terbit setahun dua kali setiap bulan Juni dan Desember.

Abstract

Justice is a purpose of universal humanity that must be continuously strugled to be realized in real world. There are many obstacle aspects in realizing it, among them is male oriented and patriarchy culture and customs. Justice bias based on those gender differences has rooted in human culture therefore it is regarded as a genuineness. This bias gender construct many aspects of life, including Islam. This research describe the root of general gender bias in Islam as the basic to reconstruct justice and gender equity in this life.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to obtain in-depth information about the participation of women farmers in agricultural production in the village of Gebangangkrik. Women in the village of Gebangangkrik go to work in the fields to help their husbands, from land preparation to post harvest process. Fees earned by women is lower than for men. They work with a rotation system or alternately between families or between neighbors that do not receive fees or spend big except for breakfast. There are many women farmers who worked to pay the debt, because when the bad season come, they had to borrow rice to other people who had more extensive rice fields with the assurance will voluntarily to help work in the fields when the next planting season. However, women farmers access to information in the field of agriculture is still very limited, so it seems that the girls were just as workers.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam tentang partisipasi perempuan petani dalam produksi pertanian di Desa Gebangangkrik. Perempuan di Desa Gebangangkrik ikut bekerja di sawah membantu suami, dari proses penyiapan lahan hingga pascapanen. Upah yang diterima oleh para perempuan lebih rendah daripada laki-laki. Mereka bekerja dengan sistem giliran atau bergantian antar keluarga atau antar tetangga sehingga tidak menerima upah atau mengeluarkan biaya besar kecuali untuk sarapan. Terdapat banyak perempuan petani yang bekerja karena untuk membayar utang, sebab saat musim paceklik sudah pinjam beras kepada orang yang memiliki sawah lebih luas dengan jaminan mau disuruh membantu bekerja di sawah saat musim tanam selanjutnya. Namun begitu, akses para perempuan petani untuk mendapatkan informasi di bidang pertanian masih sangat sedikit, sehingga terkesan bahwa para perempuan tersebut hanya sebagai pekerja.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work aims to describe the imaging wife in a collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work and social environment to describe the link with imagery wife. The method used is the sociology of literature that focuses on text analysis. The results obtained in the study include wives as wives and wives as mothers. Wife as a wife tercitra as a highly loyal, obedient, patient, understanding, responsible, caring, firm establishment, seriously, respect their husbands, rebellious, not easily discouraged, self-centered, low self-esteem, easily discouraged, and angry. Wife as a mother tercitra as a loving figure, left the children, responsible, caring, educating, caring, and grumpy. Based on social relations with the figures of the wife in a collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work is known figures wife have ambivalent nature. On the one hand they accept traditional gender roles. However, on the other hand they reject traditional gender roles.

Abstract

Abstract : This study discusses the congregation law a woman to a man is not mahram. In society, consciously or unconsciously habit congregation woman to a man become commonplace. This raises questions regarding how the law? A tradition relates that the Prophet Muhammad, had been a priest of a beautiful woman who is not mahram. The hadith is weak status, but by looking at a few other reasons and arguments, concluded that the law of the congregation woman to a man who is not mahram is allowed. Abstrak : Penelitian ini membahas hukum jemaat seorang wanita untuk seorang pria bukan mahram. Dalam masyarakat, sadar atau tidak sadar kebiasaan jemaat wanita untuk seorang pria menjadi hal yang biasa. Hal ini menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang bagaimana hukum? Tradisi menceritakan bahwa Nabi Muhammad, telah menjadi imam wanita cantik yang bukan mahram. Hadits ini statusnya lemah, tetapi dengan melihat beberapa alasan lain dan argumen, menyimpulkan bahwa hukum wanita jemaat dengan seorang pria yang bukan mahram diperbolehkan

Abstract

Abstract: Act No. 23 Year 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence (Law-Domestic Violence), is a device in which the laws governing the prevention, protection of victims, and prosecution of perpetrators of domestic violence. Thus domestic violence no longer be something that is considered private, but had become a public issue. Along with the passage of time reality show, that every issue of domestic violence victims, especially between husband and wife, it is not as smooth as expected from the presence of Act No. 23 of 2004. The reality has not met the expectations of the victims (women) to get justice. Some of the factors that cause this condition, including the substance of the Act is not yet clear, absorption abundance liberalism, gender bias conditions, as well as meet compliance demands internasioanal ratification convention. Abstrak : Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2004 tentang Penghapusan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (UU-PKDRT), adalah perangkat di mana hukum yang mengatur pencegahan, perlindungan korban, dan penuntutan pelaku kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Dengan demikian kekerasan dalam rumah tangga tidak lagi menjadi sesuatu yang dianggap pribadi, tetapi telah menjadi isu publik. Seiring dengan berlalunya waktu reality show, bahwa setiap masalah korban kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, terutama antara suami dan istri, tidak semulus yang diharapkan dari kehadiran UU Nomor 23 Tahun 2004. Kenyataannya belum memenuhi harapan korban (perempuan) untuk mendapatkan keadilan. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan kondisi ini, termasuk substansi UU tersebut belum jelas, kelimpahan penyerapan liberalisme, kondisi bias gender, serta tuntutan memenuhi kepatuhan ratifikasi konvensi internasioanal.

Abstract: Throughout history there, working women have always suffered discrimination and injustice. Wage policy that has not been impartial, social security, welfare to the layoffs, everything is still attached to women workers than male workers. Abstract

Abstract: The interpretation of the gender verses in the Al-Qur'an with eco-feminism approach is the criticism and alternative interpretation of gender verses with liberal feminism approach. This is because of the liberal feminism puts men and women in the positions of binary opposition that makes competition and rivalry. The purposes of this paper are to determine the composition of the interpretation of the gender verses in the AlQur'an with eco-feminism approach and to know the function and the position of the interpretation of gender verses with eco-feminism approach as a criticism and an alternative interpretation of gender verses with liberal feminism approach. This paper is expected to be an alternative of the interpretation of liberal feminism which becomes mainstream in Islamic studies and gender. Abstrak : Penafsiran ayat-ayat gender dalam Al-Qur'an dengan eco-feminisme pendekatan adalah kritik dan interpretasi alternatif ayat jender dengan pendekatan feminisme liberal. Hal ini karena feminisme liberal menempatkan laki-laki dan perempuan dalam posisi oposisi biner yang membuat kompetisi dan persaingan. Abstract

Abstract : In the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) Article 176 stated that the daughter becomes heirs with the son. The portion of the son is twice the size as of the daughter’s. Next comes the question, is it true that 2:1 of inheritance are completely against the principle of equity partnership in the Al-Qur'an? The difference share is not due to gender issues, but the difference in the duties and responsibilities imposed upon men are greater than women in the Muslim community, according to the theory of conventional standard which states: "The bigger and heavier the burden carried by men, the greater the rights to be acquired ". Abstrak : Dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) Pasal 176 disebutkan bahwa anak perempuan menjadi ahli waris bersama-sama anak laki-laki, maka bagian anak laki-laki adalah dua berbanding satu dengan anak perempuan. Selanjutnya muncul pertanyaan, apakah benar bahwa pembagian waris 2:1 ini sepenuhnya telah melawan prinsip keadilan kemitraan yang dikemukakan sendiri oleh Al-Qur’an? Perbedaan forsi tersebut tidak disebabkan persoalan gender, melainkan atas perbedaan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang dibebankan kepada laki-laki lebih besar dibandingkan dengan yang dibebankan kepada perempuan dalam konteks masyarakat Islam, sesuai teori standar konvensional yang menyebutkan :"Semakin besar dan berat beban yang dipikul seorang laki-laki, maka semakin besar pula hak yang akan diperolehnya".

Abstract

Javanese  is one of the famous culture that owned by Indonesia. As one of the culture that enough reckoned , javanese had a wide range of science .Not only  the mosaic customs and any kind of a ceremony that he had, but the woman too. This study was a qualitative research aiming to describe negative labeling/ stereotype existing inside javanese women. Used a technique of analysis contents and interview, researchers will processing the data in the form of quotations novel with three stages: reduction , display data and data verification. The result of research showed that there were several negative labels. Firstly, men are considered as smarter than women, so that can be family’s more pride. Secondly, women having protruding breast are equivalent to ledhek or prostitute. Thirdly, gelung/sanggul (hair bun) is a symbol of women’s beauty. Fourthly, women producing sound of smacking lips during eating are just like animal. Fifthly, kitchen becomes basic standard of ability of taking care of husband and future household.  .As part of science, feminism need to introduced to school through language class.
