Abstract

This research aim to improve speech skill of PBSI Unsoed student in odd semester after applied simulation model. Research method is descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative. Desain research used class action. Process research of class action are cycle I and cycle II. Research result show an increase in speech skills of student. The average value an thoroughness learning has increased significantly. Cycle I 44,75 (20%) and cycle II 82,5 ( 92,5%). Observation result to student attitude is also show the existence of improvement become betterly. Students more enthusiastic about their lessons and learning becomes fun.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work aims to describe the imaging wife in a collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work and social environment to describe the link with imagery wife. The method used is the sociology of literature that focuses on text analysis. The results obtained in the study include wives as wives and wives as mothers. Wife as a wife tercitra as a highly loyal, obedient, patient, understanding, responsible, caring, firm establishment, seriously, respect their husbands, rebellious, not easily discouraged, self-centered, low self-esteem, easily discouraged, and angry. Wife as a mother tercitra as a loving figure, left the children, responsible, caring, educating, caring, and grumpy. Based on social relations with the figures of the wife in a collection of A World Without Color novelet W Mira's work is known figures wife have ambivalent nature. On the one hand they accept traditional gender roles. However, on the other hand they reject traditional gender roles.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan (1) meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan teknik akrostik berbasis media gambar pahlawan nusantara dan (2) mengetahui perubahan perilaku dalam mengikuti pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi dengan teknik akrostik berbasis media gambar pahlawan nusantarapada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Kertayasa. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri III Kertayasa. Data berupa RPP, foto, hasil tes, daftar nilai, catatan lapangan, dan catatan hasil wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan/observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumen. Indikator ketercapaian 75%. Prosedur penelitian meliputi persiapan, survei awal, pelaksanaan siklus, pengamatan, dan pelaporan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Hasil nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus 1 sebesar 47,67% dan siklus 2 sebesar 74,8% sehingga siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27,2% dari siklus 1, dan (2) terjadi perubahan positif perilaku siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis puisi melalui teknik akrostik berbasis media gambar pahlawan nusantara.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that teaching materials are not yet available as a best friend for teachers in delivering Indonesian language learning at the SMA / MA class X semester 1 of KD 3.7 and 4.7. The purpose of this study was to produce teaching materials for Indonesian language for class X semesters 1 KD 3.7 and 4.7 based on Banjarnegara Regency folklore. This research is a development research with a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. According to experts teaching material has a percentage of validity level 88.5% with a valid category, according to media experts teaching material has a percentage of validity level 80% with a valid category, according to learning experts namely Indonesian language subject teachers have a percentage of validity level 83.7 % with valid categories. Based on the results of research according to class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah Banjarnegara as users, this teaching material greatly facilitates students in understanding folklore. This can be seen from the result of filling out the questionnaire about response student of class X to the teaching materials of the developmet result which have a percentage of validity 91.5%. Suggestions include for product utilization, product dissemination, and further development needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa masih rendah. Hal itu terlihat dari rata-rata siswa yang masih belum mencukupi nilai KKM sebesar 70. Nilai KKM tidak tercapai karena siswa merasa pembelajaran menulis puisi membosankan, siswa kurang tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran menulis puisi, dan siswa kurang antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal tersebut berakibat siswa tidak serius mengerjakan tugas menulis puisi sehingga mempengaruhi perolehan nilai siswa. Pembelajaran menulis puisi yang dilakukan membosankan karena guru menggunakan teknik yang kurang tepat dan tidak menggunakan media yang menarik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data pada siklus I dan siklus II menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Diperoleh hasil pada siklus I sebesar 77,6. Hal ini meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 82,7. Dengan demikian peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 5,1 (6,6%). Peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi juga diikuti dengan perubahan perilaku negatif menjadi perilaku positif. Pada siklus II, siswa yang sebelumnya kurang antusias terhadap pembelajaran menulis puisi menjadi antusias, senang dan tertarik digunakan teknik meneruskan larik melalui media gambar dan lagu. Hal ini terlihat dari sikap siswa yang aktif dan suasana kelas yang kondusif.Kata kunci: menulis puisi, meneruskan larik, media gambar, media laguThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students' poetry writing. This can be seen from the average student who still does not meet the KKM score of 70. The KKM score is not achieved because students feel that learning to write poetry is boring, students are less interested in learning to write poetry, and students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning. This results in students not being serious about writing poetry tasks so that it affects students' grades. Learning to write poetry is boring because the teacher uses inappropriate techniques and does not use interesting media in learning. This study used a classroom action research design. The subjects in this study were the poetry writing skills of class VIII C students of SMP Negeri 6 Purwokerto. This study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection in cycle I and cycle II used test and non-test techniques. The data analysis techniques of this research are qualitative and quantitative. The results obtained in the first cycle were 77.6. This increased in cycle II of 82.7. Thus, the increase from cycle I to cycle II was 5.1 (6.6%). The improvement of writing poetry skills was also followed by changes in negative behavior to positive behavior. In cycle II, students who previously were less enthusiastic about learning to write poetry became enthusiastic, excited and interested in using the forward array technique through the media of pictures and songs. This can be seen from the active attitude of students and a conducive classroom atmosphere.Keywords: writing poetry, forward lines, picture  media, song media

Abstract

This research has a goal that can be formulated, among others (1) describes improving speaking skills through cooperative methods of jigsaw techniques in students of grade III State Elementary School 3 Kedungbanteng Banyumas; and (2) describe changes in the behavior of students of class III Elementary School 3 Kedungbanteng Banyumas after being given learning speaking skills through cooperative methods jigsaw techniques. The method used is PTK. In the PTK method researchers help teachers overcome problems learning speaking skills in the classroom. Learning outcomes speak cycle I 45%, cycle II 55%, and cycle III 70%. The quality of speaking learning, cycle I 46%, cycle II 76%, and cycle III 87%. In accordance with the results shown, there is an increase in learning speaking skills with cooperative methods of jigsaw techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of telling students VII A SMP Negeri 4 Purbalingga after using wayang cartoon media. The method of this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The research design used is classroom action research. Classroom action research process includes cycle I and cycle II. The results showed an increase in storytelling skills. The average value and study completeness has increased significantly. Cycle I 61,87 sufficient category and cycle II 76,31 good category. Observations on student attitudes also indicate a better improvement. Students are more enthusiastic about learning and learning becomes fun.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the level of readability of folklore material in class X Indonesian textbooks. The main problem in this study is how the level of readability of folklore material in Indonesian class X textbooks, revision 2017, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture based on the graphic formula Fry? The subjects in this study were Indonesian class X textbooks, revision 2017, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In chapter 4 which is folklore material in the 2017 revised Class X Indonesian textbook, published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, there are 5 literary texts. The measurement of the level of readability in this chapter is measured through the five texts. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative descriptive technique with data collection techniques in the form of library research. The measurements made in this study are based on Fry's graph theory. After conducting research to determine the level of readability using Fry's graph theory, it was found that the folklore material had a readability level that was not suitable for use in class X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan masalah sosial tokoh Burlian dan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada novel Si Anak Spesial karya Tere Liye. Novel Si Anak Spesial ini menceritakan kisah tentang pentingnya sebuah pendidikan untuk masa depan seseorang. Tokoh yang menjadi pengantar pembentukan karakter dalam sebuah novel ini yaitu Mamak, Bapak, dan Pak Bin. Tokoh Mamak dan Bapak merupakan pembentuk karakter di lingkungan keluarga, sedangkan tokoh Pak Bin sebagai pendidik pembentukan karakter di lingkungan formal. Ketiga tokoh tersebutlah yang mengantarkan pendidikan karakter pada tokoh-tokoh yang ada dalam cerita, khususnya tokoh utama. Kajian sosiologi sastra dan masalah sosial yang digunakan mengacu pada teorinya Faruk dan Soekanto, sedangkan untuk mengetahui nilai pendidikan karakter mengacu kepada kementrian pendidikan nasional tahun 2011. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa penggalan-penggalan cerita dalam novel kemudian dijelaskan melalui kata-kata. Metode yang digunakan ialah analisis isi, dengan teknik pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik baca, simak, dan catat (BSC). Berdasarkan penelitian, ditemukan 6 masalah sosial yaitu; masalah sosial kemiskinan, kejahatan, disorganisasi keluarga, pelanggaran terhadap norma-norma masyarakat, lingkungan hidup, dan birokrasi, dengan jumlah 36 data yang masuk masalah sosial. Sedangkan nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditemukan ada 13 nilai pendidikan karakter, yaitu; Nilai religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab, dengan jumlah 40 data yang masuk nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian tersebut relevan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di jenjang SMA kelas XII kurikulum 2013 berdasarkan KD 3.9 Menganalisi isi dan kebahasaan novel.
