Abstract

Swimming is a sport that has great benefits. The problem for athletes, especially freestyle swimming, lies in technique, especially in the position of the hands and feet, sometimes athletes are not in line with what the coach expects. The purpose of the study was the effect of resistance band training through audio visual on freestyle swimming learning at Club Garuda Laut Palopo. This type of research is quantitative research that uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. This research is a pre-experimental research design. The population in this study was novice swimming athletes Club Garuda Laut Palopo. The population sampling technique in this study used saturated samples (census), which is a sampling technique where all populations were sampled as many as 5 novice swimming athletes. The research data was analyzed descriptively, the requirements test was the data normality and homogeneity test, and the T test used SPSS version 20.00. The results showed that the value of t = count of 2.958 was greater than t = table 2.571 or t = count of 2.958 > t = table 2.571 and sig results. (2-tailed) which is 0.000 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant influence of resistance band training through audio visual on freestyle swimming learning at Club Garuda Laut Palopo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Zig-Zag Run and Shuttle Run exercises on dribbling skills in the futsal game at senior high school 3 Palopo. Experimental research is a research conducted to ensure a causal relationship between variables. This research approach is a type of quantitative research that uses secondary data. The population in this study is all futsal athletes at senior high school 3 palopo. The sample is the extracurricular futsal of senior high school 3 palopo as the object studied. The sampling technique used random sampling, which was carried out randomly, Thus the sample in this study is the extracurricular futsal of senior high school 3 palopo totalling 16 students. The sample was divided into two groups by ordinary matched pairing so that the sample is homogeneous. Data processing uses SPSS Version 21 software, multiple linear regression models were used to analyze the data. (1) Zig-Zag Run practice has an effect on dribbling skills in futsal games; (2) Shuttle Run affects dribbling skills in futsal games The results of the study also concluded that both zig-zag and shuttle run exercises were significantly different. The zig-zag exercise is more effective in increasing agility than the shuttle run exercise

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of leg muscle explosive power and balance on the ability to shoot futsal at Club The Brothers. The type of research used is descriptive research which is correlational in nature. The sample is part of a number of characteristics possessed by the population used for research. In this study, 10 members of The Brother FC were used as samples. The instruments used were the leg muscle explosive power test, balance test and shooting ability test. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive tests, normality tests, linearity tests and regression tests using the SPSS Version 24.00 program. The results showed that the leg muscle explosive power variable had a tcount of 3.994 while ttable = 2.228 so tcount > ttable. The balance variable has tcount, which is 6.007, while ttable = 2.228, so tcount > ttable. From the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the Fcount was 65.878 and the sig. 0.000. Fcount value (65.878) > (2.228) and sig. smaller than 0.05 or a value of 0.000 <0.05. The conclusion is that the ability of the independent variables to explain variable variation is quite strong.

Abstract

Physical activity causes an increase in the use of energy or calories by the body. Cold water recovery is to reduce muscle soreness after exercise. The use of cold water for Pencak silat athletes after doing physical activity is very influential with the final result. There are changes in various ways of testing it, such as normality and correlation tests. The goal is that by applying cold water, it can make the pencak silat athletes have a steady pulse and don't get tired quickly. The methods used are experimental, pretest and posttest groups, with 11 sample. The research instrument was carried out after doing physical activity for 1 minute, calculating the pulse for 1 minute after doing physical activity, calculating the pulse was carried out using cold water with 25° C temperature. if the temperature exceeds 25° C then ice cubes are added to the soaking tub until the temperature drops to 25° C. With the normality test Absolute Value = .189 , Positive = .189, Negative = -.189, Sig. 0.200 > 0.05, then the variables are normally distributed and correlation test Correlation Test Sample PreTest = 11 , PreTest Pearson Correlation = 1 PostTest = .971 Meanwhile, PostTest Sample = 11 . PostTest Pearson Correalition = .971 PostTest =1.

This study aims to determine the results of measuring the physical condition of basketball in Indralaya 2 Public Middle School students. This type of research is descriptive, using a quantitative approach using normality and percentage test data analysis. The population of this study were students of Indralaya 2 Public Middle School and the sample used was Indralaya 2 Middle School students totaling 70 people who were taken by chance. The instrument in this study used a test to measure physical condition in basketball, namely using a 50 meter running test (speed), sit ups (abdominal muscle strength), pullups (arm muscle strength), vertical jump (leg muscle strength), and 1000/800 m run (endurance). Data analysis techniques were processed using the Smirnov Kolmogorov normality test and percentages using the Excel and SPSS 22 programs. Based on the analysis of the data, the results of the measurement of the basketball physical test were included in the unfavorable category with a result of 32%. With the results that for the 50 meter run is 71.4%, sit ups are 33%, pull ups are 20%, vertical jumps are 36%, and 1000/800 m run are 4%. This means that for the measurement of the basketball physical test on Indralaya 2 Public Middle School students, their physical condition is not good. The application of this research is that the physical course is very supportive for daily activities, especially learning PJOK basketball material. Keywords: Physical Test Measurement, Basketball.

The research purpose to determine the level of nutritional adequacy, physical activity and nutritional status of adolescent soccer athletes. The research was conducted on teenage soccer athletes who are members of the PERSIS Makassar soccer club, which totals 27 teenage athletes. The research method used is a case study presented descriptively. Nutritional intake was measured using the food recall method for 3 x 24 hours using a food composition list (DKBM). Physical activity is categorized into three levels, namely heavy, moderate and light using WHO calculations. Nutritional status is calculated based on body mass index for age (BMI/U). The nutritional adequacy level of the sample was classified into two categories, namely adequate if the nutritional adequacy level was >80% and categorized as insufficient if the nutritional adequacy level was <80%. The results of a 24 hour food recall for 3 days obtained an average sample energy intake level of 14 (51.85%) people who had good energy intake and 13 (48.15%) people with less energy intake and no athletes (0%) ) who have more energy intake. The results of the questionnaire summary were obtained which were matched with WHO physical activity category standards, it was seen that all soccer athletes (100%) had heavy physical activity categories while the nutritional status of the anthropometric data obtained, it was obtained that there were 14 athletes with normal nutritional status (51, 85%), 13 people (48.15%) were underweight, and 0% were athletes in the category of fat and very thin.
