Abstract

Gunungsari is located in West Lombok, which has a physical condition that is prone to landslides. Based on previous research using paimin vulnerability analysis, there are 4 categories of landslide susceptibility, namely the fairly high category, the medium category, the mild category and the moderate category. This study aims to analyze in terms of spatial planning policies in West Lombok regarding the regulation of landslide-prone areas and land use. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using primary and secondary data. Spatial planning is an effort to realize an orderly spatial arrangement by taking into account the state of the environment, by looking at the spatial planning policy and field conditions, it will get a picture of the suitability between zoning and policies that have been determined with the use of the land, from the results of the analysis with the criteria for the vulnerability of the area to landslide-prone areas and functions. the area in Gunungsari has 8 zones, of which zones 1 and 4 have the function of permanent protection forest utilization, while zone 2, zone 3, zone 5 and zone 6 have undeveloped cultivation utilization. For zone 7 and zone 8 with the use of developed cultivation, if viewed from the aspect of spatial planning policies that can be following with the results of the analysis, however, there is a need for a detailed plan to regulate the use of existing space in Gunungsari, especially in areas prone to landslides.

Abstract

The dynamics of the 2024 general election, especially the presidential election, have begun in 2023. Data from the General Election Commission (KPU) states that of the 205 million Permanent Voter List (DPT), 52% are young voters aged 17-40 years. This is the basis importance of understanding the characteristics of young voters' preferences, especially when associated with geographical factors. This study aims to (1) map spatial distribution patterns and characteristics of young voters based on geographical factors; and (2) identify the influence of geographical factors in determining the preferences of young voters in the 2024 presidential election. Data were collected in a simple random sampling amounting to 425 samples with regional distribution throughout Indonesia. This research was carried out with a quantitative method based on statistical testing from the data collection process to data analysis and interpretation. Statistical testing used a comparative model test (kruskal-wallis/h-test), correlations (spearman rank), and regression. The result of this study showed that there are no significant differences between young voters who live in rural, urban, or residential areas based on regionalization.

Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelagic country located in the equatorial region, is faced with a high risk of natural disasters, especially floods, due to its volcanic location and the intersection of three main tectonic plates. In this context, this research aims to analyze the potential of mosques in DKI Jakarta and the Batanghari River basin as flood disaster evacuation buildings. Using a descriptive-analytical study method with a combined approach between online and field observations, as well as data from the official government website, this research evaluates mosques based on the criteria of floor height, availability of the 2nd floor, and other supporting facilities. The results show that there is significant variation in mosque architectural design and facility availability, with some mosques having potential evacuation buildings while others require significant modification to increase their functionality in the face of flood disasters. This research suggests the need to modify the mosque design, including increasing the floor height and adding second-floor facilities and stairs, to strengthen the role of the mosque as an effective evacuation site.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the natural disasters that often occurs in various regions in Indonesia. Flood disaster mitigation can be introduced to children in a way that is easily understood by them. The purpose of this research is to introduce the use of digital film learning media for flood disaster mitigation. The selection of digital video media is based on the fact that children can more easily access and understand the content. To determine the initial knowledge through Pre-test and its improvement after the distribution of digital video media through Post-test, researchers in this study used a measuring tool in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents. The value of respondents' public knowledge was proven to be higher in the results of data analysis and Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis where the value of community knowledge who became respondents in this study was rated better and, in the Wilcoxon, test the results obtained <0.05 showed that children were more aware of the existence of flood disasters and their risk factors after seeing digital media learning videos. The development of a flood disaster mitigation programme in the form of digital media learning videos is proven to foster knowledge and attitudes of early childhood to respond to disasters early.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out "How do business location selection factors affect coffee shop micro businesses in Kebon Jeruk District". The methodology used in this study is a quantitative research with a causal associative research design that seeks relationships between two or more variables. Likewise, in this study, we are looking for a relationship between independent variables and bound variables. The data collection technique in this study was carried out through literature studies, documentation and questionnaires aimed at 35 (thirty-five) coffee shop micro business managers in Kebon Jeruk District. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression analysis which is useful to test the strength of the relationship between independent variables (variable X); accessibility (X1), visibility (X2), business environment (X3), business land (X4) with bound variables (Y); coffee shop micro business income (Y). The results of the study show that of the 5 (five) variables of location selection factors, there are three factors that have a partial influence on income, namely accessibility variables, business environment and competition. Then that all independent variables, namely accessibility, visibility, business environment, competition, and business land have a significant effect simultaneously (together) on the income of coffee shop micro businesses in Kebon Jeruk District.

Abstract

Malang City is the second-most populous city in East Java after Surabaya City. In addition, development in Malang City in recent years has also impacted changes in land use and land cover. The methods used in this research are: 1) built-up area index (EBBI, NDBI, and UI) of Malang City from 2019 to 2023; 2) dasymetric density; 3) distance measurement; and 4) gradient direction. The results of the calculation of the built-up area index show that UI has an average kappa accuracy of 0.75, which is higher than the other two indices. In 2019–2020, the built-up area of Malang City decreased, while in 2021–2023,. There was an increase in the built-up area. This condition is caused by large-scale social restrictions that cause a decrease in development in various sectors. The development of urban sprawl in Malang City in 2019–2023 leads to the north, namely in the districts of Lowokwaru and Blimbing. The correlation test shows that the total population variable has a strong correlation with the urban sprawl (density) variable based on five districts in Malang City.

Abstract

Mapping details related to village (hamlet) boundaries needs to be implemented. Problems that often occur within the villages include: problems of village administrative boundaries, then problems in the form of village facility assets that are not properly registered ( inventarisation). One of the objectives of village mapping is to accelerate the process of digitising village data by presenting it on one map. The method used was participatory mapping, which directly involved the indigenous people of Singajaya Village. Participatory mapping serves to enrich the data collected in relation to the boundaries between hamlets in Singajaya Village. The village mapping in the form of hamlet administration was processed using GIS processing, with the results being that of the total area of Singajaya Village of 555.64 Hectares, Hamlet 1 has the largest area, followed by Hamlet 4, while Hamlet 2 has the narrowest area among the hamlets in Singajaya Village. The boundaries used as benchmarks between hamlets in Singajaya Village consist of natural and artificial benchmarks, such as trees, rivers, irrigation, and roads.
