Abstract

This study is intended to analyze the effect of pedagogic competence and professional competence on the performance of elementary school teachers in Sagulung District. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a causal design. Sampling using purposive sampling as many as 223 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics with multiple linear regression. From the results of multiple regression analysis, it can be concluded that the variables of pedagogic competence, and professional competence, simultaneously and significantly affect the performance of elementary school teachers in Sagulung District. It is recommended for further researchers, other variables related to teacher performance can be selected, such as school facilities, education budgets, or online learning methods in order to obtain objective, accurate, and complete information on research results.

Abstract

The world is currently busy with the emergence of corona virus diseases (Covid 19). The government has made various efforts to limit activities, one of which is conducting an online learning process. The role of parents is important to accompany children during their studies. The purpose of this study was to determine the parents' perspective on the learning process of elementary school students during the covid 19 pandemic in Ie Masen Kayee Adang Village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City in 2021. This type of research is descriptive observational, the research was carried out on June 14 to 19, 2021. The population in this study was all parents of elementary school age children living in Gampong Ie Masen Kayee Adang, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City, with sampling using proportional random sampling technique as many as 61 people. The results showed that most of the respondents' parental perspectives on the student learning process were in the less category as many as 35 respondents (57.4%), student learning process methods were in the good category as many as 31 respondents (50.8 %), student learning process are in the good category as many as 36 respondents (59%), student learning process are in the good category as many as 33 respondents (54.1%). it is hoped that this research can provide input for teachers in designing learning methods so that it is easy for students to understand when learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, so that it can make it easier for parents in  learning process and can improve the learning achievement of children.

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative research that describes how the impact of learning daring at the Minangkabau Islamic boarding school and how the character development of students daring the COVID-19 pandemic is developed. Daring learning conducted by Islamic boarding schools, it has other impacts on Santi, including changes in the character and behavior of students who have been instilled and grown in a student, among the changes in character that is ; the decline in the discipline of students in learning and making assignments, the decrease in the sense of togetherness that students have been accustomed to living together in Islamic boarding schools, the decline in etiquette and obedience of students in daily life and carrying out worship, Realizing this, the Minangkabau Islamic boarding schools make policies on how to build the character of students in the learning period Daring this time, among the character building carried out are; 1) Making a schedule of activities while at home; 2) Monitoring students' activities while at home by contacting students and parents, either through the GWA Group and Japri; 3) Controlling prayer and tahfizd activities for students according to the schedule at home by making daily absences through online and written absed involving parents and administrators of the nearest mosque / prayer room; 4) For students who are unable to study daring , remain in the Islamic boarding school doing learning activities and other pesantren activities, provided they comply with the Health protocol; And 5) Monitoring students' activities on social media continuously

Abstract

Model pembelajaran project based learning dengan pendekatan STEAM adalah proses pembelajaran dengan memadukan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning berbasis STEAM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi alat-alat optik. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental designs. Sampel diambil secara pusposive sampling sebanyak 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas XI MIA 3 (kelas eksperimen) dan 36 siswa kelas XI MIA 2 (kelas kontrol). Hasil uji hipotesis terhadap data posttest menggunakan uji independent sample T test pada  = 0,05 diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,017 dengan kesimpulan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar (88,31) dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar (85,86). Selain itu, dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa jumlah dari skor jawaban dari setiap responden didapatkan rata-ratanya yaitu 71,67%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based Learning berbasis STEAM berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi alat-alat optik serta siswa juga tertarik belajar dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbasis STEAM.

Abstract

The strategic plan guides the school is successfully fulfilling its mission. Based on the strategic plan, the school can develop a human resource plan that allows it to make management decisions in the present to support the school's future direction. The general objective of human resource management is to ensure the organization has adequate human resources to meet its needs. Operational purposes and plans Allow the organization to stay informed of current social, economic, legislative and technological trends affecting human resources and Allows the organization to be flexible for dynamic changes in the environment. Human resource management identifying future needs with the school and developing scenarios about the future distinguishes human resource management from operational planning. The fundamental question that must be answered for strategic human resource management is? Where are we going? Given the circumstances, how are we going to get there? This article seeks to provide a framework for the strategic planning of human resources in academia.

Abstract

In increasing the capacity of students, education is needed. Education plays an important role in developing religious values and morals to participants. When people are poor and have no money to continue their education. So the role of zakat is very necessary to help the needs of these lectures. In dharmasraya district, the existence of effective and efficient zakat management through the One House One Sarjan (SKSS) program to finance students who are continuing their education is very helpful so that they can complete their education until they graduate and get a bachelor's degree. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of zakat management for education financing through SKSS scholarships at the dharmasraya district baznas. The method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Meanwhile, the results of the research show that the management of zakat through the SKSS program in the dharmasraya district has been running effectively and efficiently for education financing. This is evidenced that many have graduated and become undergraduates

Abstract

Covid 19 has had a huge impact on the world of education. With the emergence of covid 19, the world of education was forced to turn around significantly, the learning process which is usually done face-to-face must be replaced with online learning. The introduction of online learning suddenly has a very long and large effect on the teaching and learning process. Many teachers are not familiar with the online learning process. This research activity was carried out from April 2021 to October 2021. The objects in this study were teachers who teach in high school and junior high schools in the Aceh Besar area. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive research approach where the data will be taken using a questionnaire, the sample in this study amounted to 50 teachers. The results showed that the average problem experienced by the teacher was in the "High" category in the aspect of the learning process, which was 84.5%. This is in accordance with the results of the interviews conducted. The teacher admits that it is very difficult to carry out the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. The most difficult situation is to equalize the perception of students' abilities

Abstract

This research entitled “The Characteristic and Meaning of Nazam Compositions by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency. The number of data in this research were eleven data which consisted of five details data from participant’s record and six data which were obtained from manuscript text or Nazam documentation of Moslem Scholars and respondent. Data gathering was done by using the techniques of observation, interview, record, note, and documentation. The data were analyzed through steps of transcribed the data, classified or sorted the data, identified the data characteristic, and described the meaning of data. The findings of this research revealed that the characteristics of Nazam which were composed by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency arranged of (1) stanza, (2) rhyme, (3) religious themes, (4) syllables variation number, (5) used Arabic vocabularies, (6) began with praises to Allah and greetings to the Prophet. Furthermore, the meanings of Nazam Composition by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency consisted of (1) denotative meaning, (2) connotative meaning, (3) lexical meaning, (4) stylistic meaning, (5) interpretation meaning

Abstract

This paper examines lecturers' perceptions of the project-based learning model and assessment on the teaching of English Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University. Project-based Learning (PBL) is one of the Merdeka Belajar priority program plans in 2021 which is part of the Kampus Merdeka plan by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Higher Education. Projects in education are one of the assessment instruments used to assess not only learning outcomes but also student learning processes. Students are required to not only learn to understand the material but also learn how to apply knowledge in group work and produce relevant products. The purpose of developing a project-based learning model for accounting students studying English for specific purpose (ESP) is so that they can apply English knowledge to their field of expertise, namely accounting.

Abstract

This study was aimed at improving vocabulary mastery through games. It is to see whether game can improve students’ vocabulary mastery and to know the effectiveness of using game in teaching class. The participants of this study were 10 students and one English lecturer at University of Muhammadiyah Aceh. The data were obtained from questionnaires that distributed to students and interview one lecturer to add more information. In analyzing the data, this study applied the qualitative descriptive method. The result of this study reveals that the implementation of game in teaching learning process is effective in which it encourages students’ motivation and involvement during the learning process. Indeed, it becomes the relevant way for lecturer to improve students’ vocabulary mastery.
