Abstract

One of the learning model that help to develop students’ thinking ability to be more critical and creative in dealing with problems and to improve the students’ understanding of Mathematicalconcept is cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization).This study aimed to discover the effect of using cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) related to trapezoid material.The instruments used in this study were teacher and students observation sheet, questionnaire, interview, Lesson Plan, Students’ Worksheet, Pre-test and Post-test.Futhermore, the result of students achivement data  were analyzed using Minimum Mastery Criterion (MMC), whereas data of teachers competence, students activity, students respond, and students learning outcomes were analyzed using descriptive analysis in terms of rate percentage.Based on the data analysis, the result of the study showed that cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) is an effective strategy. The result informed that the teacher’s ability to organize cooperative learning type TAI is effective (indicated by score 4.00), the student’s activity during teaching and learning process based on cooperative learning type TAIn is effective, the exhaustiveness of the students in classical manner is effective (indicated by 83,33 % of the students fulfil the Minimum Mastery Criterion) and more than 80% of the students gave vastly positive response in relation to TAI implementation. It can be inferred that the cooperative learning type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) is an effective strategy in teaching trapezoid material.

Abstract

The propose of this study is the accomplishment of the academic supervision of the madrasah principal during the covid 19 pandemic. The study uses phenomenological qualitative method. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Kota Payakumbuh for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Data collection use interview, observation, and documentation. Principal of the madrasah and entire school which include in this study  are the source of data. The accomplishment of academic supervision is carried out in three levels are first level in the form of contracts, second level in the form of accomplishment, and third lebel in the form of strengthening. The results showed that the implementation of academic supervision during the COVID-19 pandemic when the green zone was going well. Although learning is carried out in rotation every week, it does not reduce the spirit of the madrasah principal to improve the quality of the learning process. Learning activities during the pandemic era were carried out with 2 models, namely the online model during the red zone and face-to-face with a system of alternating classes every week when the green zone returned.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the motivation and emotional intelligence of students' learning independence in Online Learning Schools in Batam. The research method uses a quantitative approach, correlational design. The population of this study were 339 students. Sampling technique using disproportionate stratified random sampling set a sample of 183 respondents. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the variables of motivation and emotional intelligence had a significant and simultaneous effect on students' learning independence. The results of the t test show that the motivation variable has a significant effect on student learning independence, and emotional intelligence also has a significant effect on learning independence. The coefficient of determination is 0.315 or shows that 31.5% of students' learning independence is influenced simultaneously by the variables of motivation and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Aceh Provincial Health Office in 2019, new HIV cases in Aceh have reached 49 people and new AIDS cases have reached 79 people, while the cumulative cases of HIV/IADS reached 600 people with a mortality rate of 309 or 51.5% of the number of people living with HIV/AIDS. One of the factors that influence the occurrence of HIV/AIDS among adolescents is the lack of accurate information. Education about how AIDS is transmitted and prevented is the main weapon against HIV/AIDS, because no treatment or vaccine can prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. One form of education for adolescents is through health counseling where the counseling that can be given is counseling on reproductive health, especially HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the level of knowledge between the lecture method and the use of animated videos in HIV/AIDS health counseling to students at MAN 4 Jeunieb District, Bireuen Regency in 2021. This type of research is quasi-experimental, using a two-group pretest posttest design, the research was carried out on 8 to 9 June 2021. The population in this study was all students of class X, XI and XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Jeunib District, Bireuen Regency, with sampling using proportional random sampling technique as many as 82 people who are divided into two groups. The results showed that there was a difference in the level of knowledge between the lecture method and the use of animated videos in HIV/AIDS health education to students with p-value = 0.000. It is hoped that this research can provide significant information for teachers and UKS officers in conducting socialization for students/adolescents about the negative impacts caused by HIV/AIDS in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ketrampilan Higher Order Thinking Skills siswa setelah penerapan model Problem Based Learning. Hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat menumbuhkembangkan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-exsperimental research). Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini one group pretest posttest design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas tinggi di SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 170 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil undian, maka yang dijadikan sampel adalah siswa kelas IV-B yang berjumlah 16 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas data diperoleh bahwa data keduanya normal dan homogen. Dari hasil perhitungan untuk data HOTS belajar siswa diperolehthitung = 18,725 sedangkan nilai ttabel= 1,684. Oleh karena thitung > ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan terima Ha. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat menumbuhkembangkan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the description of the application of school-based management in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Nongsa District, Batam City and the quality of education of Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Nongsa District, Batam City. conducted in SDIT which is located in Nongsa sub-district, Batam City. The participants/informants of this research are; 1) Principal; 2) Teacher; 3) Employees 4) School Committee at Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Nongsa District, Batam City. Data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes data collection, data selection, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. School-based management at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Nongsa District, Batam City is quite optimal. SBM is implemented by implementing a school-based learning curriculum that refers to the Education Office and is combined with an integrated learning model that is typical of Islamic schools, school-based student management, school-based management of educators and education personnel, sapras management, school-based financing management, school relations management and education. school-based society. school-based cultural and environmental management, while the education quality of the Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Nongsa District, Batam City is adequate both in academic and non-academic aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan koneksi matemtais siswadengan menggunakan model PBL dan pendekatan saintifik Adapun pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel terarah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Matangkuli. Sample dalam penelitian adalah VII-4 kelas eksperimen dan VII-5 kelas Kontrol. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dengan tes kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. pengujian data menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji U nonparametrik Mann-Whitney diperoleh signifikansi 0,0045 = 0,05. Ini berarti H0 akan ditolak, sehingga: Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan koneksi matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih unggul daripada peningkatan keterampilan koneksi matematis siswa yang mengandalkan pendekatan saintifik tentang materi sistem linier kelas VIII pada SMP Negeri 1 Matangkuli.

Abstract

This study is a review of several articles on primary school academic supervision during the pandemic. This study aims to identify and obtain information related to the educational supervision process faced by school principals during the pandemic. The research was conducted in several articles related to the academic supervision of elementary schools during the pandemic. Based on the study results, it was found that supervision activities played a significant role in improving teacher performance. However, the implementation of academic supervision during the Covid-19 period was generally considered to be still less effective and affected the quality of learning in schools which became less than optimal. This can be overcome if the principal as a supervisor can utilize technology that can facilitate the work of the principal as an academic supervisor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X IPA 2 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation di SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu pada semester genap dimulai pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret pada tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu yaitu sebanyak 30 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui tes siklus dan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Data dalam penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 70% dan pada siklus II 90%, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 20%. Rata-rata aktivitas guru melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 3,81 berada pada taraf baik dan pada siklus II sebesar 4,88, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 1,07 dari siklus I dan berada pada kategori  sangat baik. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I nilai rata-ratanya sebesar 3,19 dengan persentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,75% dan berada pada kategori baik. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata yang  diperoleh adalah 3,62 dengan persentase sebesar 90,5%, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,75% dari siklus I dan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X IPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aims to find similarities in meaning and sound, both vowels and consonants between Angkola and Acehnese languages. The method used in this research is a comparative descriptive method. The data compared in this study are 200 basic Swadesh vocabularies between Angkola and Acehnese. The data collection technique used is the note-taking technique. To analyze the data, the lecostatistic technique was used with steps including (1) collecting the basic vocabulary of the language of relatives, (2) determining which pairs of the two languages are related words, calculating the age and time of separation of the languages. The results showed that there were 37 words that were related (18.5%), either words that were identically related or words that experienced changes in vowel and consonant sounds, with details of ten words that were identically related and had the same meaning and the same sound for BAn and BAc ( 5%) and twenty-seven words with sound changes in both vowels and consonants for for BAn and BAc (13.5%). Furthermore, the corresponding words between BAn and BAc are either identical or have very little phoneme change. So that the separation distance until 1982 BC. In general, it can be said that the level of mutual understanding between the Angkola language and the Acehnese language is also very low. Although these two languages come from Austronesian languages
