Abstract

One important area in education administration/management is related to human resources involved in the process of dynamics of educational institutions, such as teachers and education personnel, namely administrative/structural personnel. Educational human resource management is also called the management of educators and education. Management of educators and education is potential human resources who play a role in realizing national education goals. Starting from the teaching staff and education that entered the educational organization until finally stopping through the HR planning process covering recruitment, selection, placement, compensation, awards, education and training or development and dismissal. Quality of human resources educational institutions determine the results/products/graduates of the educational institution itself.

Abstract

The increased of cash ratio, debt to equity, receivable turnover is not always followed by an increase and decrease in return on assets. Using that statement as the background of this study, this study is conducted to test the influence of cash ratio, debt to equity, receivable turnover on return on assets. The data collection techniques in this study were conducted using documentation techniques with a sample count of twenty-three (23) and one hundred three (103) populations in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018 using multiple linear analysis techniques. The benefit of the results of this study is a consideration for companies and the next researcher about the variables used in this study. Based on the results of the study can be partially concluded cash ratio, debt to equity, receivable turnover negatively effects on the return on assets and simultaneously positively effects on the return on assets in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kemampuannya dalam aplikasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan mutu pengelolaan pada SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi pada penelitian ini adalah guru, staf, tenaga pustakawan dan siswa SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah guru yang berjumlah 40 orang, staf sebanyak 5 orang dan siswa sebanyak 40 orang. Data penelitian dianalisis secara teknik deskriptif dan teknik inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata adalah 30,63 dari tabel analisis statistik deskriptif, skor rata-rata kemampuan dalam aplikasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi adalah 6 dari hasil uji statistik dan skor rata-rata variabel mutu pengelolaan adalah 14,30 dari hasil statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh bahwa skor kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah memperoleh nilai sig. (p-value) sebesar 0,648 > 0.05, Artinya sampel variable Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal. Hasil skor variabel kemampuan dalam aplikasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, diperoleh nilai sig. (p-value) sebesar 0,082 > 0.05, maka H0 diterima. Artinya sampel variable Kemampuan Aplikasi TIK berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal. Dan variabel mutu pengelolaan diperoleh hasil nilai sig. (p-value) sebesar 0,685 > 0.05, maka H0 diterima. Artinya sampel variable Mutu Pengelolaan Sekolah berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal. Hasil analisis korelasi pearson diperoleh bahwa bahwa korelasi antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dengan mutu pengelolaan didapat nilai koefisien sebesar 0,187 dengan arah positif. Karena koefisien mendekati angka 0, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dengan mutu pengelolaan memiliki hubungan yang rendah. koefisien sebesar 0,187 dengan arah positif. Korelasi antara aplikasi TIK dengan mutu pengelolaan didapat nilai sebesar 0,627. Karena koefisien mendekati angka 1, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara kemampuannya dalam aplikasi TIK dengan mutu pengelolaan memiliki hubungan yang tinggi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan kemampuannya dalam aplikasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dengan mutu pengelolaan SMA Negeri 21 Makassar.

Abstract

The aim of research is evaluation SeaTeacher Programme based on Context, Input, Process, and Product analysis. This research conducted based on qualitatif evaluation method using  Context, Input, Process, and Product model. The data collection used observation, dokumentation, and interview method. The result of research shows that based on contexts analysis the programme is good, because there are legal basis programme such as MoU, conformity with strategic plans, and curiculum needs. Based on input analysis that the programme is not optimal, because there are no training and workshop for students related curiculum and culture of destination country. Evaluation programme based on process is good, because there are conformity related schedule, supervisor, and teaching and learning process. Based on product evaluation is good also, because students who joined the program get soft skills, link, and excellent score. Moreover, the students have self report about the programme that they should upload on SeaMeo website. In summary, according to evalutaion the programme is good, while it need improvement for many aspects.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: First, describe the application of strategic management, the competence of principals, and describe the application of educational management standards; the second examines the influence of strategic management and school principals' competencies on achieving educational management standards in Makassar 19 Public High School. This type of research is survey research. The total population is 579, and 121 samples are taken. Data collection uses questionnaire and documentation techniques. The data analysis uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that, strategic management and competency of school principals jointly have a positive and significant effect on the achievement of education management standards in SMA 19 Makassar with a regression equation Y = 50,450 + 0.467X1 + 0.216X2 and the coefficient of determination of 0.209 so that the achievement of educational management standards 20.9% is determined by strategic management together with the competency of principals and 79.1% is determined by other factors not included in this research area.

Abstract

Strategic management is an improvement in the quality of education that has long been applied for the achievement of a predetermined educational goal, which is based on the Act has been determined. Implementation of strategic management includes external internal analysis, and samapai at strategic evaluation stage to find out how far the results have been achieved. In addition, it must be supported by various things including adequate facilities, community support and the surrounding government. Improving the Quality of Education includes the processes and outcomes of education that affect each other. In measuring a certain quality of education if it can be known by looking at various things, among them is the maximum learning process, adequate facilities, professional teachers with various capabilities possessed, to the support of various parties. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be seen that there is a significant influence between the implementation of strategic management with improving the quality of education in all levels of education.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study are:1) To find out the implementation of the operational system of data processing of students by using a management information system in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar. 2) To find out the data processing process of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar. 3) To find out the impact of the use of management information systems on data processing of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq Makassar.  The type of this study is a qualitative field research using data collection methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq based on management information systems is carried out using the online EMIS application, the process of data processing of students in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nasrul Haq follows four main steps, namely data collection, data input, information storage and retrieval to be used and the use of management information systems in the management of student data in Nasrul Haq Ibtidaiyah Madrasah provides benefits in the form of ease of data storage, information retrieval processes, data security and access to student information wherever and whenever needed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the level of financial literacy students of Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business and Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UINAM 2014 based on Sex, Study Program and Parent Income. Objects studied are students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business as a student who has a good level of financial literacy and students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training as a student who has a lack of good financial literacy level UINAM 2014 Force. This research is a quantitative research. The sample used in this study as many as 302 people. Sampling technique by stratified random sampling (random sample). This study uses Discriminant Analysis (Two Group Discriminant) with the help of SPSS Version program. 22. This study obtained the result that there are differences in the level of financial literacy of Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business and Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UINAM force 2014 based on Gender, there is difference of financial literacy level of student of Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business and Faculty of Tarbiyah and UINAM Class of 2014 based on Study Program and there is no difference in the level of financial literacy of Faculty of Economics and Business of Islam and Faculty of Tarbiyah and UGM Training for class of 2014 based on Parents Revenue. Discriminant test result stated that Sex and Study Program have significant effect simultaneously to the difference of financial literacy level of student of Faculty of Economics and Business of Islam and Faculty of Tarbiyah and UGM Training of class of 2014 whereas Parent Revenue is not.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims (1) To find out the organizational culture implemented in MAN I Makassar (2) the administrative service system in MAN 1 Makassar (3) The impact of implementing organizational culture in improving administrative services in MAN 1 Makassar. This study uses qualitative methods and phenomenological, pedagogical, sociological and psychological approaches. To obtain data, the author have interviews, observation, documentation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation 1 Makassar has been well implemented which takes the form of the of organizational culture in improving administration services at MAN application of a culture of discipline and cooperation that refers to the values of social relations and good communication among personal peers who have been determined to achieve aim. Efforts to improve administrative services observed at MAN 1 Makassar have demonstrated their quality, one of which is to prove harmoniously a relationship between fellow personalities, from students, employees, teachers, and principals, which can be realized in the form of cooperation, both in nature structural and cultural. The implication of this research is that it is expected that the school of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Makasssar can improve its administrative services while still referring to human values and also can be applied effectively and efficiently.
