Based on theory, there are many factors that influence student's achievement in mathematics learning. In this study, researcher only took disposition factor. This research took place at Medan State 28 Junior High School which located at Karya Bersama St. No. 17 Medan Johor. The method of this study is a quantitative method with all of VIII class students which amount to 273 students and divided into 8 (eight) study groups. The data obtained by giving a questionnaire consisting of 19 statements. The data then analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis. The data analysis was performed by using SPSS 21 software for Windows. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of disposition on students' achievement in mathematics learning or in other words, students' achievements in mathematics learning are influenced by the disposition attitudes that students have in mathematics learning. Abstract

AbstractA house is a gathering place for a family, where each family member has a different passion and busyness. If at any time a family member is traveling and wants to monitor and control conditions from a distance, an electronic device is used. One solution to determine the condition of home security at all times, an internet connection is needed by using the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is a concept of using an internet network to transfer data or share information with certain applications. The IoT concept is one of the IR 4.0 based systems. In Indonesia, the system has not been widely implemented, especially for village areas. The purpose of this activity is to introduce the concept of IoT in a region as a system of monitoring and controlling homes. The method used is socialization and training of IoT-based smart home models. The system that is introduced is setting lights, monitoring gas (kitchen security), and monitoring using a camera. The results obtained were an increase in knowledge from 45.4% to 79%, and increased skills from 33% to 63%.Keywords: IoT, Village, Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The implementation of activities focused on updating production and e-commerce management on “Borna” aims at resolving some of the challenges and obstacles experienced by Borna. One of them is in the production stage, where wood cutting still uses a jigsaw, making production processes longer and limiting e-commerce that still relies on social media platforms, making marketing networks and sales levels still low. The assistance program to facilitate the resolution of the problem in question was carried out at the end of August 2019, in Binjai. In addition, on the same occasion, appropriate technology assistance was also carried out by handing over a saw machine for efficiency and effectiveness in the process of cutting round, hexagonal and trapezium wood plates. As a complement in updating partner competencies, the implementation team also provides training and assistance in developing the website as one of the main e-commerce platforms to increase partner marketing and revenue. The use of e-commerce websites in expanding market share slowly but surely has made Borna products become more exposed and known and can compete with products originating from Java Island which currently dominate national and international market share. Keywords: Craft Products; Souvenir Wood Waste; Borna; Binjai.

Abstract

One of factors that cause a bad quality of Boer Goat frozen semen is the growth of bacterial. This can be overcome by adding antibiotics such as streptomycin. To further suppress the growth of bacteria can be added other ingredients that contain antibacterials such as sweet orange essential oil. The purpose of this research is to know the percentage value of Membrane Integrity and Acrosome Integrity on Boer Goat frozen semen with addition sweet orange essential oil and streptomycin. The method used was experimental using Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment in this research is addition 0%, 0,25%; 0.5%; 0.75% and 1% sweet orange essential oil on tris yolk and streptomycin extender. The results showed the best treatment addition combination streptomycin and sweet orange essential oil to percentage Membrane Integrity and Acrosome Integrity is increase 1% sweet orange essential oil. Keywords: Boer Goat, essential oil, frozen semen, streptomycin, sweet orange.

Abstract

The research aims to develop teacher and student handbooks for realistic mathematics lessons for elementary schools. The development of this handbook is based on the reality in the field where the handbook of teachers and students especially the subjects using the 2013 curriculum still do not exist, and in daily learning activities teachers and students still use books that use themes. This research uses development research (Developmental Research). The subjects of this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 163085, H.A Bilal Tebingtinggi City and SD Negeri 106162, Medan Estate District, Deliserdang Regency. In the initial stage, observations were made during the learning process at the two schools and continued with interviews with students and teachers. From the results of these observations and interviews a primary school realistic mathematics teacher and student handbook was prepared. Furthermore, the realistic elementary school mathematics teacher and student handbook is validated by a team that aims to see and assess the quality of the realistic elementary school teacher and student mathematics handbook in order to arrange an effective handbook that will be used by teachers and students in learning. The validation results show that realistic mathematics teacher and student handbooks are developed in both categories and can be used in teaching and learning. The media book test was conducted on grade V students of SD Negeri 163085 Tebingtinggi city and SD Negeri 106162 Medan Estate Deliserdang Regency. The trial results show that the elementary school teacher and student mathematics handbook is effective and can help facilitate understanding of mathematical concepts at the elementary school level. This can be seen from the number of students who can reach the KKM from the two schools is increasing. For SD Negeri 163085 HA Bilal, Tebingtinggi City, if at the time of the pre-test only 1 student (3%) was able to reach the KKM, then after being given the learning process using a teacher and student handbook developed the number of students who could reach the KKM increased to 24 students (82.7%) while those under the KKM were only (17.3%) or 5 students. The same thing was seen in SD Negeri 106162, Medanestate Subdistrict, Deliserdang Regency. If at the time of the Pre-test only 2 students (6.6%) had scored above the KKM, after the post-test there was an increase in students who achieved the KKM score of 25 students (83.3%). An increase of 76.7% when compared to the pre test. Keywords: Handbook, teacher, student, PMR
