Abstract

Abstract - The presence of Early Childhood Education (ECE) tutor in Cibitung Tengah Village Tenjolaya District Bogor Regency is really needed for early childhood in order to become a guide in the ECE institutions. The problem occurred is that the average education level of ECE tutor is diverse, from Middle School, High School, Associate Degree, and Bachelor Degree. In this condition, we can say that those ECE tutors had not had the knowledge and insight about the ECE, namely the 2013 Curriculum, the ECE concept, and the learning devices. Training, along with the research about the role of those training itself, are need to be done in order to answer this question for increasing the knowledge and insight of ECE tutor using action research method. The results showed the enhancement of conducted training, including the enhancement of interest and motivation to develop their knowledge and insight about the ECE. Extended with the existence of WhatsApp group as a platform for communication between ECE tutors and UNJ researchers in the efforts to enhance the professionalism of ECE tutors, in the context of mentoring, ECE Tutors in the Cibitung Tengah, Tenjolaya Village were also involved in the learning devices production training in order to apply the religious moral concept to the ECE in the teaching and learning process at the UNJ and also to observe Ceria Daycare of the Department of ECE, Faculty of Education, UNJ.Keyword - Early Childhood Education (ECE), 2013 Curriculum, Learning Devices

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjabarkan proses pembelajaran TOEFL dan hasil temuan terhadap mahasiswa Al Azhar Indonesia angkatan 2010-2011 Program Matrikulasi. Pelatihan TOEFL ini berlangsung 38 jam dilengkapi dengan 4 progressive test. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan kelemahan dan kemajuan pada kemahiran bahasa Inggris dengan tampilan kelemahan terutama pada struktur bahasa. Saran dan solusi untuk menanggulangi kelemahan di paparkan berdasarkan hasil test. This research has focused on the process and findings of TOEFL Matriculation which has been conducted to the students of University of Al Azhar Indonesia year 2010-2011. The course consists of 38 hours TOEFL training and 4 progressive tests. The findings shown of certain progress and weaknesses of proficiency especially in “structure”. At the end solution or suggestion are given based on the tests.

Abstract

Abstrak – Titik tolak penelitian ini adalah untuk menelusuri secara ilmiah motivasi berjilbab mahasiswi UAI –khususnya mereka yang berjilbab setelah masuk UAI, pengetahuan mereka tentang syariat jilbab, dan manfaat yang mereka peroleh. Diharapkan, hasilnya dapat membantu pimpinan dan segenap civitas akademika UAI, serta orang tua mahasiswi dalam membangun pendidikan karakter dan lingkungan keagamaan yang kondusif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan sejumlah temuan penting, di antaranya: (1) Para mahasiswi UAI yang berjilbab secara garis besar bisa dikategorikan ke dalam dua kelompok: konsisten dan inkonsisten. (2) Konsistensi mereka dalam berjilbab sangat dipengaruhi motivasi intrinsik yang kuat. (3) Mahasiswi UAI yng berjilbab mendapat dukungan dari keluarga, teman-teman kuliah, dan orang terdekatnya. Dan motivasi ekstrinsik ini sangat membantu dalam kasus di mana motivasi intrinsiknya tidak begitu kuat. Abstarct – The main purpose of this research is to explore scientifically the motivation behind wearing hijab among UAI students –particulary those who decide to wear hijab after entering the UAI, their syariah knowledge about the obligation of wearing hijab, and what the benefit is. The result is expected to help the leaders and academic community in the UAI, as well as parents in building character and strengthening religious environment. The study summarizes a number of important findings: (1) Basically, the UAI students can be categorized into two groups; consistent and inconsistent in wearing hijab. (2) Their consistency in wearing hijab briefly influenced by its strong intrinsic motivation. (3) Students who wear hijab get strong support from the family, friends, and people who close to them.  This extrinsic motivation can be very helpful where intrinsic motivation is not strong enough.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan representasi gender dalam folklor Jepang. Data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sembilan buah cerita rakyat Jepang yang terdiri dari Issunboshi, Tanishi no Shusse, Kaguya Hime, Tsuru no Ongaeshi, Ningyou no Oyomesan, Hito no Yome ni Natta Neko, Harikazuki Hime, Yomesan ni Natta Ichou no Ki no Sei, dan Yome no Jumyou. Pendekatan gender digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini melalui pengamatan terhadap relasi gender yang terjadi antara tokoh perempuan dan laki-laki. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat penggambaran representasi yang berbeda antara tokoh perempuan dan tokoh laki-laki terkait masalah gender yang mencakup perbedaan ruang aktivitas, penggambaran karakter, serta peran/tanggung jawab.Kata Kunci: Gender, Representasi, Folklor JepangAbstract - This research aims to discover gender representation in Japanese folklore. The main data are nine Japanese folklores consist of Issun-bōshi, Tanishi no Shusse, Kaguya Hime, Tsuru no Ongaeshi, Ningyou no Oyomesan, Hito no Yome ni Natta Neko, Harikazuki Hime, Yomesan ni Natta Ichou no Ki no Sei, and Yome no Jumyou. Gender approach used to analysis these folklores by observing the gender relation between women and men characters. Abstract

Abstrak - Pengabdian kepada Masyrakat berbasis penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Masjid Bahrul Ulum sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah dibuat oleh isntruktur. Pelatihan ini berjudul, Program Terjemah Al-Qur’an Al-Huda yang dipelopori oleh Ustadz Ahmad Huseno, S.S. sejak tahun 2003. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dalam kurun waktu kurang lebih delapan bulan sejak bulan Desember 20016 hingga Juli 2017. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan penulis adalah diawali dengan tahapan observasi ke tempat atau lembaga yang dituju, setelah jelas dan sesuai harapan, dilanjutkan dengan studi lapangan, guna mengetahui segala hal terkait pelatihan Terjemah Al-Qur’an Metode Al-Huda, sehingga dapat ditelusuri kendala dan hambatan yang dihadapi. Setelah itu, barulah penulis melakukan wawancara dengan pelopor atau penemu program ini. Dari kegiatan ini penulis menyimpulkan beberapa hasil yang didapat, yaitu: (1) para peserta dapat memahami kaidah Bahasa Arab dasar; (2) peserta sedikit demi sedikit mulai dapat mempraktekkan terjemah dari beberapa ayat al-Qur’an. Adapun masukan untuk program pelatihan ini adalah harapan terkait pengadaan kamus Indonesia-Arab dan Arab-Indonesia dan penjelasan singkat tentang tema ayat-ayat yang akan dibahas. Abstract - The devotion to this research-based society is carried out in the Bahrul Ulum Mosque in accordance with the schedule that has been made by the instructor. This training is entitled translation program AL-Qur’an method AL-Huda pioneered by Ustadz Ahma Huseno, S.S. Since 2003. This Activity taks approximately 8 Months from December 2016 to July 2017.Technique of data collecting by writer is begins with observation to the place or institute referred, after clear and as expected, followed by field study to know all matter related to training of Al-Qur’an translation Al-Huda Method, so can be traced the obstacles Faced. After that, then the author conducted an interview with the pioeer or inventor of this method. After partipating in some activities, author get some inputs to improve this training program. Among them is to provide dictionary and brief explanation of the theme of verses that will be discussed. From this activity the author concludes some of the results obtained, namely: (1) participants can understand basic Arabic rules; (2) participants gradually began to practice the translation of several verses of the Qur'an. The input for this training program is the hope related to the procurement of Indonesian-Arabic and Arabic-Indonesian dictionaries and a brief explanation of the themes of the verses to be discussed. Keywords – Al- Qur’an, Translation, Arabic

Abstract

Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu Mata Kuliah Wajib Universitas bagi semua fakultas dan Prodi di UAI. Pengajarannya bertujuan memberikan kemahiran dasar berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Arab. Diperlukan evaluasi untuk pengembangan dan peningkatan kualitas pengajaran dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa UAI terhadap keberadaan MKU Bahasa Arab, materi yang diajarkan, metode pengajarannya, dan dosen MKU bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian ini adalah survei, bersifat deskriptif. Sampel dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik statistik-deskriptif. Melalui penelitian ini diungkap bahwa mahasiswa menunjukkan kesadaran dan sikap positif terhadap pentingnya bahasa Arab dan keberadaan MKU Bahasa Arab di UAI. Persepsi mahasiswa UAI terhadap MKU Bahasa Arab, materi, metodologi pengajaran, dan dosen pengajarnya cukup positif disertai dengan harapan pencapaian yang maksimal dan pengembangan program yang optimal dan efektif bagi peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Arab mahasiswa.AbstractArabic Language (MKU) is one of the Compulsory Courses for all University faculty and Department in UAI. The teaching aims to provide basic skills to communicate in Arabic. Evaluation is required for the development and improvement of teaching quality and student learning outcomes. This study aims to find out students’ perceptions of the existence of Arabic Language, the material being taught, and teaching methods, and lecturer in Arabic Language. This is a survey research method, is descriptive. Samples were randomly selected. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis was performed using statistical techniques-descriptive. Through this study revealed that students demonstrate awareness and positive attitudes towards the importance of Arabic language and Arabic lecture presence in UAI. UAI students’ perceptions of the Arabic, materials, teaching methodology, teachers and lecturers were positive with the hope of achieving the maximum and the development of an optimal and effective programs for the improvement of Arabic language skills of students.

Abstract

Abstrak - Pengajaran bahasa Arab di program studi sastra Arab, Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia dimulai sejak tahun 2000 awal UAI didirikan.  Dua belas tahun sudah berjalan, akan tetapi, dari tim pengajar merasa masih adanya sebuah “kegagalan” dengan tingkat keberhasilan yang dicapai, baik dari ketercapaian materi ajar maupun kemahiran berbahasa yang diharapkan.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mendapatkan data terkait persepsi mahasiswa sastra Arab, Fakultas Sastra, UAI dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan, yang dibagi kedalam lima bagian, yaitu: persepsi mahasiswa sastra Arab, Fakultas Sastra UAI terkait:  tujuan  pembalajaran kemahiran bahasa Arab, materi ajar dari mata kuliah kemahiran berbahasa, penerapan metodologi pengajaran kemahiran berbahasa, dosen pengajar mata kuliah kemahiran bahasa Arab dimata mahasiswa dan persepsi mahasiswa tentang teknik evaluasi yang digunakan oleh dosen pengajar mata kuliah kemahiran berbahasa di program Studi Sastra Arab UAI.Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi bahan evaluasi proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di program studi sastra Arab UAI serta pengembangan kurikulum kedepan. Abstract - Teaching Arabic in Arabic literature courses in the Faculty of Literature, University of Al Azhar Indonesia, started in 2000, the year UAI is established . Twelve years running, however the teaching team still detect a need of improvement in the level of success achieved, both of in teaching materials and language proficiency that are expected. This research was conducted to obtain data on the perception of Arabic literature’s students in the Faculty of Literature, UAI regarding the learning process that is being carried out, which is divided into five sections : Their perceptions concerning the goal of Arabic language proficiency, teaching materials, the application of teaching methodology, the course lecturers of Arabic Literature and their view on the evaluation techniques used by the course lecturers in Arabic Literature Studies UAI.The results of this research are expected to be an evaluation process material for Arabic study in Arabic literature courses  in UAI, as well as curriculum development in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak - Untuk dapat mencapai hubungan yang sinergis, perusahaan harus dapat memperhatikan pola kinerja karyawannya. Karyawan yang bermutu dan dapat menghasilkan kinerja yang tinggi adalah karyawan yang dibutuhkan oleh suatu organisasi. Peran yang sangat vital dalam mewujudkan prestasi kinerja seorang karyawan adalah dirinya sendiri. Bagaimana dia memiliki semangat dan etos kerja yang tinggi untuk dapat memberikan pengaruh positif pada lingkungannya. Karyawan yang memiliki pemikiran yang luhur mengenai pekerjaannya dapat bekerja dengan tulus. Suatu pandangan dan sikap terhadap kerja dikenal dengan istilah etos kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji teoritik mengenai pengaruh etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. AE. Untuk menguji pengaruh variabel etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan digunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menyebar 132 kuesioner pada karyawan PT. AE. Setelah dianalisis didapat hasil R square 0.724 dengan signifikansi (p<0.05), yang berarti etos kerja memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 72.4%. Kata Kunci: Etika Kerja, Performa Kerja  Abstract - To be able to achieve a synergistic relationship, the company should be able to notice employee performance. Employees who are qualified and able to produce high performance is needed by the organization. A very vital role in realizing the achievement of the performance of an employee is himself. How does he have the spirit and high work ethic to be a positive influence on the environment. Employees who have lofty thoughts about the job can work sincerely. An outlook and attitude towards work is known as the work ethic. This study aims to perform a theoretical test on the effect of the work ethic on the performance of employees of PT. AE. To test the effect of variables on the performance of the employee's work ethic multiple linear regression analysis was used, by spread 132 questionnaires to employees of PT. AE. Having analyzed the results obtained R square 0.724 with 0.000 significance (p <0.05), which means the work ethic significant influence on employee performance amounted to 72.4%. The dominant aspect of the work ethic that effect the performance is the view of work is trustworthy. Keywords: Work ethic, Employee performance

Abstract

Abstrak - Diaspora adalah penyebaran orang dari satu negara asli ke negara lain (Cambridge Dictionary, 2017), sementara Sujatmiko (2014: 55) memberikan definisi yang sedikit berbeda dengan menyebutnya sebagai istilah yang mengacu pada bangsa atau penduduk etnis yang dipaksa atau dipaksa untuk meninggalkan tanah air tradisional etnik; penyebaran mereka di berbagai belahan dunia; dan perkembangan yang telah dihasilkan karena budaya dan penyebarannya. Masyarakat Arab menjunjung tinggi peraturan dan menjalankannya sama seperti menjalankan perintah Tuhan dan yang memecahnya berarti menghina Garda Tertinggi (Hitti, 2010), ini menjadi dasar studi budaya Arab di mana konsep masyarakat egalitarian dan geografi tandus dengan gurun khas merupakan faktor utama. Dalam membentuk karakter dan kepribadian yang keras dan pantang menyerah. Setelah melakukan Diaspora ke Indonesia khususnya di Jakarta, terjadi beberapa hal menarik untuk dipelajari secara kultural sehingga dalam penelitian ini terbatas pada penyebab diaspora, pemetaan permukiman mereka, dan pelestarian budaya mereka di Jakarta. Studi ini akan melakukan beberapa langkah untuk menyiapkan data awal yang akan digunakan untuk berbagai studi budaya melawan masyarakat keturunan Arab oleh pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam membaca, mengeksplorasi, dan memahami masyarakat keturunan Arab dan mengungkapkan banyak sisi budaya mereka yang kaya akan filsafat esensial.Kata Kunci – Diaspora, Arab, BudayaAbstract - Diaspora is the spreading of people from one original country to other countries (Cambridge Dictionary, 2017), while Sujatmiko (2014: 55) gave slightly different definition by calling it as a term that refers to nation or forced or encouraged ethnic population to leave their traditional ethnic homeland; their deployment in various parts in the world; and the development that has been generated because of their culture and deployment. Arab society upholds the rules and runs it as same as runs God’s command and who break it means insulting The Supreme Guard (Hitti, 2010), it becomes fundamental of Arab culture study where egalitarian society concept and barren geography with desert typical are a major factor in shaping loud character and personality and unyielding. After doing Diaspora to Indonesia especially Jakarta, it happened several interesting things to be culturally studied that in this study is limited in the cause of diaspora, mapping of their settlement, and the preservation of their culture in Jakarta. The study will do several steps preparing an initial data that will be utilized to various culture studies against society of Arab descendant by any interested parties. It is expected the result of the study can help and make easier the people in reading, exploring, and understanding the society of Arab descendant and reveal many of their culture sides that rich in essential philosophy.Keywords - Diaspora, Arab, Culture

Abstract

The objective of the research is to study the relationship between learning outcome on statistic, learning outcome on research methodology and thesis quality. The research was carried out at the student Al Azhar University, with 53 samples of thesis which were selected randomly. The research concludes there is positive correlation between: (1) learning outcome on statistics and thesis quality; (2) knowledge on research methodology and thesis quality; (3) furthermore, there is a positive correlation between learning outcome on statistcs, learning outcome on research methodology, with thesis quality. Therefore thesis quality can be increased by improving learning outcome on statistic, and learning outcome on research metodhology.
