Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of pair to pair method towards the students’ achievement by using pizza slice as a media. The method of this research used Pretes-Posttest Group Design. This research used random sampling method. There were 22 students grade IV of SDN 2 Sukadana, 11 students as a control group and 11 students as an experiment group. The data collection of this research used pretest dan posttest, interview, and documentation. After the data gathered, those were analyzed used normalizaton test by kolmogrov-smirnov test and homogeneity test by fisher test. The result shows the pair to pair method gives significant effect toward students’ achievement by using pizza slice as a media. This can be seen in control group the students’ achievent in pretest 46.55 and posttest 64.36 and in the experiment group the students’ achievent in pretest  52.73 and posttest 72.36. Then Paired Sample method shows the hypothesis result sig 0,000 < 0,05, so HO is rejected and HA is accepted, which mean there is a significant effect from pair to pair method towards the students' achievements by using pizza slice as a media of grade IV of SDN 2 Sukadana.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observation school habituation activities at Luqman Al Hakim Ngawi Elementary School were carried out well. Teachers and students are involved in these habituation activities. This is an interesting concern for research to find out the implementation of school habituation activities as a means of instilling disciplinary character values in students. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in instilling the character values of discipline in students through school habituation activities. This study used qualitative research with a case study approach. The data sources in this study were school principals, 3 teachers, and 24 students using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used interactive data analysis techniques data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions. Research result conducted in school habituation activities to instill discipline character values in students, it is known that the teacher acts as a catalyst who invites, directs, and supervises students in school habituation activities. The teacher also acts as a role model who provides an example for discipline to students. Based on the research result above the existence of the role of the teacher in carrying out the school habituation can instill the character values of discipline in students.

Abstract

In the current era, learning activities in schools require teachers to use innovative learning media, teachers in schools often use communication tools as a tool to assist learning activities in class, there are many learning media used by teachers, one of which is YouTube learning video media. With the existence of YouTube learning video media, it makes it easier students understand the material provided and can instill students' cognitive abilities on theme 6 (energy sources and changes) in class III. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze students' cognitive abilities through the media of YouTube learning videos in class III SDN Gedangan. Researchers use descriptive qualitative research methods, with the type of case study research where researchers can understand and search for cases and look for these results. From the data on the cognitive ability test results of class III students at SDN Gedangan obtained the following scores: obtaining a score of 100 with a percentage of 38%, a score of 96 with a percentage of 41%, a score of 92 with a percentage of 15% and a score of 88 with a percentage of 5%. From the average student overall score data, it is known that the percentage is 96.42% of the overall score of students' cognitive ability test scores. Where this figure is included in the "very good" category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of YouTube learning video media can improve the cognitive abilities of class III students at SDN Gedangan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the validity level of powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning for class V elementary school. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results showed that powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning was stated to be very valid with the assessment of material experts 84.54%, 89.5% linguists, and media experts 81.67% with an overall validator average score of 85.23% with category “very valid”. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that powerpoint interactive multimedia in integrated thematic learning for class V elementary school “very valid” is used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya while participating in the literacy program. This study also uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques and triangulation techniques and sources. The data collection technique was triangulation technique, namely observation, interviews and documentation, while the source triangulation used was students and homeroom teachers for grade IV and school principals. The data analysis is a qualitative data analysis technique through the reduction stage, data presentation and the final stage is drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study showed that there was an increase and change in students' reading comprehension skills after participating in the literacy program held by the school as seen from students being able to capture reading content, summarizing reading content, answering questions according to reading content and students being able to retell reading content. The supporting and supporting factors for the implementation of the literacy program are the human resources, namely students, teachers and schools.

Abstract

The majority of social media users accessing the Youtube platform cannot be separated from the advantages in it. The main advantage is the ease of accessing and uploading videos available on Youtube with the internet for free without any space and time limitations. The purpose of this study was to find out and describe student responses when using the resume method via YouTube social media in learning mathematics. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method by collecting questionnaires from students taking mathematics courses. The results of the average percentage score of the overall student response to resuming videos on Youtube reached 80%. The data analysis used in this study is descriptive quantitative while to test the validity of the questionnaire with Pearson Correlation and the reliability of the questionnaire with Cronbach Alpha using SPSS. This shows that the student's response when the ethics of resuming videos on Youtube in mathematics learning is positive.

Abstract

This assessment activity was carried out to determine the effectiveness of problem-based teaching models and project-based teaching to foster critical character in integrated teaching of grade V elementary school students. The type of research used as a reference in this assessment activity is Quasi-Experimental research with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. A total of 100 grade V students in the Baratha Cluster in Susukan District were used as a population in this assessment activity, but only 71 students from SDN Koripan 04, SDN Koripan 01, and SDN Koripan 02 were used as research samples. The results of data processing using the T-test show a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 then  rejected and accepted, meaning that there is a difference in significance values from the two models, where in the problem-based teaching group there was an average increase of 21,167 while in the project-based teaching group of 5,429. By referring to these data, it can be seen that the problem-based teaching model has a greater level of effectiveness than the project-based teaching model in improving critical thinking skills in thematic learning of grade V elementary school students.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on an analysis of the needs and problems found in the SD located in Gugus Mawar, Suruh District. This study aims to develop a media, namely to determine the level of feasibility and practicality of integrated science flash card media with the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model to improve critical thinking skills in 5th grade elementary school. This research and development (Research & Development) chose a research development design using procedures that have been modified by Sukmadinata and using the ASSURE development model. Assessment questionnaire sheets for validator experts and response questionnaire sheets are used as data collection instruments. With that, expert lecturers, students and teachers of grade 5 elementary school were used as the subjects of this study. The results of this study indicate that IPA flash card media is considered feasible and practical with the acquisition of a percentage of material experts 92.7%, media experts 93.8%, and learning design 93.8%. As for the practicality of the media, it got a percentage of 79.2% from student responses and 88% from teacher responses. It can be concluded that the integrated science flash card media using the TSTS model to improve critical thinking skills for grade 5 elementary school is considered feasible and practical to apply to the learning process.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi dapat mempengaruhi manusia dan dapat dirasakan serta mempengaruhi kehidupan seseorang. Dalam pendidikan, teknologi memiliki dampak yang sangat positif pada pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran adalah media yang dibuat oleh guru untuk digunakan dalam terciptanya interaksi yang membantu dalam kegiatan belajar ketika dilaksanakan di luar ruangan ataupun di dalam ruangan. Oleh karena itu, dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi sangat penting. Media quiziz adalah program permainan quiziz interaktif yang diintegrasikan ke dalam permainan bisa menjadi alat bantu guru dalam pembelajaran (Solikah 2019). Media quiz juga berguna sebagai alat bantu dalam memberikan nilai pada saat memberikan nilai terkait pemahaman dari peserta didik selama pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Penilaian pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan dapat menjadi hal yang membosankan bagi siswa, ketika penilaian didasarkan pada teks yang dibacakan oleh guru di depan para siswa. Pembelajaran menulis mempunyai tujuan yaitu, diharapkan siswa mampu mengisyaratkan dari pendapat, pengetahuan dan pikiran ke dalam bentuk tulis bukan hanya cenderung menulis. Dengan begitu, memudahkan siswa untuk dapat mengembangakan setiap kreativitas yang dimiliki sebagai alat ketika digunakan di berbagai metode dalam pembelajaran. Sehingga keterampilan menulis dapat dihubungkan dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki setiap siswa dalam mencari sebuah informasi yang baru. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode retrospektif. Penelitian kuantitatif ini merupakan penelitian yang mengumpulkan data berupa angka yang diolah dan dianalisis dalam mendapatkan sebuah informasi. Sehingga penelitian dapat mengetahui tingkat pemahaman yang dimiliki pada peserta didik kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Instrumen ini yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu. Aspek yang dinilai dalam tes menulis antara lain: 1. Penggunaan huruf yang benar, 2. Penggunaan tanda baca yang tepat, 3. Pilih kata, 4. Keruntutan kalimat. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the kurassaki (reduce our school waste) programme on school hygiene in students at SDN Kutabaru I, Tangerang Regency. The research approach used is quantitative with correlational method. The data in this study were obtained through distributing questionnaires to respondents and analysed using simple regression tests and correlation tests. The location of this research was SDN Kutabaru I, Tangerang Regency. The population in this study were all students at SDN Kutabaru I, Tangerang Regency. The sampling technique in this study used random sampling technique and the number of samples was determined using the Solvin formula with a significance level of 5% so that the number of samples in this study was 264 respondents. The results of simple regression testing obtained Fcount 81.71> Ftable 1.22 with the equation Y = 33.79 + 0.53X. This shows that there is a significant influence between the kurassaki (reduce our school waste) programme on school hygiene. Meanwhile, the results of correlation testing obtained an rxy value of 0.48 which is based on the table of criteria for determining the amount of correlation coefficient is at the "medium" level, and obtained a determinant coefficient value of 24% which shows how much influence the kurassaki (reduce our school waste) programme contributes to school hygiene.
