Abstract

Teachers are crucial in increasing student interest in learning through books or teaching materials that are attractive, contextual, and interactive. This service activity is carried out considering the needs of the elementary teachers at SD Nogosari 06 Rambipuji district. The problem that arises is the lack of understanding and ability of elementary teachers to establish interactive textbooks. This service activity was conducted for three months, with the substantial covering the introduction of the categories of textbooks and the preparation of textbook drafts. The method used in this activity is using lectures and discussions. The findings indicated that teachers are becoming more aware of the importance of preparing textbooks. The implementation of this activity also received a positive response from the SDN Nogosari 06 Rambipuji District teachers.

Abstract

Abstract: The fact that teaching mathematics studies show that some students are less able to learn mathematical concepts. The use of manipulative learning media is considered to facilitate students in learning. Universities as determinants of educated graduates accommodate the achievement of graduates who have the ability according to the formulation in the IQF qualification level. The Unikama Mathematics Education Study Program develops skills in making learning media through assistance to pre-service teachers. The problems faced by pre-service teachers include the need for skills to design learning media that are fun and meaningful for students. Based on the problems of the pre-service teachers, the service provider provides a solution in the form of assistance in designing meaningful learning media for students. The learning media offered is manipulative. Manipulative learning media can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Evaluation of the assistance in making manipulative media by pre-service teachers is carried out through class presentations. Each pre-service teacher explained the materials and tools used and how to make manipulative media. Pre-service teachers also convey how to use it. Abstract

Kerupuk merupakan makanan ringan khas Indonesia yang disukai masyarakat sebagai makanan ringan atau lauk makan sehari-hari. Dalam proses penggorengan diperlukan keahlian khusus terutama agar kerupuk tetap matang dengan sempurna, dari suhu minyak yang panas, lamanya proses penggorengan disertai dengan membalik kerupuk agar matang dengan sempurna dan merata. Apalagi untuk kebutuhan memproduksi makanan ringan untuk oleh-oleh, dimana produksinya sangat banyak, juga akan membutuhkan banyak tenaga. Upaya yang dapat memberikan solusi efektif dan efisien terhadap permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. UD Krupuk Lobster Talok Turen merupakan salah satu sentra penghasil kerupuk rambak terbesar di Malang. Namun dalam proses produksi khususnya pada proses penggorengan masih menggunakan cara manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, mesin penggorengan otomatis diimplementasikan. Keunggulan dari Mesin Penggorengan Otomatis ini adalah lebih hemat energi karena mitra tidak perlu memanggang secara manual menggunakan spatula. Selain itu, kerupuk dapat matang merata, karena sistem pemanggangan yang otomatis dan stabil sehingga kerupuk dapat matang dengan sempurna. Hasil dalam pengabdian ini antara lain terwujudnya unit berkapasitas 20 kg dalam sekali proses, alih teknologi dan pengetahuan khususnya mengenai pengoperasian dan perawatan mesin penggorengan otomatis; dan produktivitas UD Kerupuk Lobster Talok Turen mencapai 30%. karena sistem pemanggangannya otomatis dan stabil sehingga kerupuk bisa matang dengan sempurna. Abstract

Implementasi metode STEAM dan loose part ini didasarkan pada realita yang terdapat di RA dan BA Kecamatan Windusari, Kabupaten Magelang. Metode pembelajaran ini menghendaki penggabungan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Loose part merupakan sebutan untuk bahan ajar yang mudah dibawa, mudah dirangkai, mudah dipisah, mudah disatukan kembali sehingga sangat bermanfaat untuk pembelajaran dengan metode STEAM di TK. Saat ini kondisi pembelajaran di RA diarahkan untuk memanfaatkan permainan-permainan edukatif untuk pembelajaran. Akan tetapi, cara mengelola permainan-permainan edukatif dalam suatu metode pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh para guru atau tenaga pengajar. Hasil pengamatan di RA Kecamatan Windusari menunjukkan para guru membutuhkan pelatihan untuk menerapkan metode STEAM dan loose part untuk pembelajaran di kelas. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Magelang dan Ketua IGRA Kecamatan Windusari. Para peserta pelatihan yaitu guru RA dan BA Kecamatan Windusari, Kabupaten Magelang. Luaran pelatihan ini adalah keterampilan menerapkan metode pembelajaran STEAM dan Loose part dalam pembelajaran di RA dan BA yang meningkat. Selain itu, meningkatkan kesadaran pentingnya menciptakan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dan menyenangkan untuk membangkitkan motivasi siswa. Pada akhir kegiatan dihasilkan model implementasi metode STEAM dan loose part untuk RA/BA Kecamatan Windusari. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan berbagai tahap yaitu observasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelatihan.

Abstract

The research is aimed to measuring the effectiveness of training on student competencies as halal supervisors. Research respondents as many as 42 participants. The effectiveness of the training was analyzed using the Kirkpatrick level 1 (response) and level 2 (learning outcomes) models. The results of the first level evaluation showed that participants gave a positive response to the training materials and training methods that were carried out online gradually. In the second level evaluation (learning outcomes), it was found that participants were able to receive more than 50% of the training materials, both in stage I, stage II, and stage III training. Based on these results, gradual online mode training can be recommended as an alternative effective training method to improve student competence.

Abstract

MSMEs are born and established naturally, it can be due to the strong intention of the founder to do business independently, the family environment and can also be due to friendships that make MSMEs grow, stand and develop. This service aims to assist MSMEs in accelerating business adjustments following the development of a dynamic business environment and to improve the ability of MSMEs in marketing aspects and creating human resource value. The FEB UB service team approaches MSMEs collaboratively, namely by working with MSME owners to identify the needs and challenges faced in marketing and human resource management. The implementation of this service is by means of training, workshops, consultations, and assistance from the service team. The result is an improvement in the marketing capabilities of MSMEs with the adoption of more effective digital marketing strategies and techniques. MSMEs are able to utilize digital platforms to increase product visibility and reach more potential customers. In addition, MSMEs are expected to optimize human resource management with the implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and improved quality of service to customers. Thus, MSMEs will be able to compete better and improve business competitiveness. MSMEs need to open themselves to learn and adapt to change. MSMEs can take advantage of cooperation and relationships in business organizations to support each other and expand business networks. Strengthening collaboration among entrepreneurs will help MSMEs face challenges together and improve their ability to compete in the market. Finally, MSMEs are advised to keep abreast of technological developments and consumer tastes in order to remain relevant and innovative in running their businesses. Abstract

Caring is a core competence of nursing and becomes an essential aspect that should be developed among nurses including clinical nursing students. Caring behavior needs to be possessed by nursing students before entering health services. This community service activity aimed to increase the caring knowledge of clinical nursing students caring. There were three steps included in this activity such as preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Nursing students involved in this study were clinical nursing students in 2022 at Universitas dr. Soebandi. The first stage was defined by groups and the preparation of material on caring. The second stage was the implementation and education carried out on 30 students. Lastly was the evaluation using a questionnaire consisting of 10 questions related to carative factors based on Jean Watson's theory. The results showed that after giving education with brainstorming methods, there was an increase in knowledge about caring for clinical nursing students with a p-value of 0.000. It indicates the brainstorming method is effectively applied to improve understanding of cases in students of the ners profession. Therefore, it is recommended to adopt the brainstorming method in nursing education.

Abstract

Microgreens are vegetables that are full of nutrition, healthy, free of pesticides and free of fertilizers. Microgreen comes from the word micro which means small and green means green, so it is a green plant that is harvested small, which is between 7 – 14 days from seedling depending on the type of plant. Microgreen cultivation does not require soil, fertilizers, or pesticides and is a difficult environment. Microgreen cultivation begins with selecting containers, and planting seeds in media (cocopeat, vermiculite, zeolite, rockwool, and sand).. Microgreens do not require direct sunlight, but you can use lamp light or artificial light, the required humidity is around 50% and the temperature is 24 – 29oC. The nutritional content in microgren includes alkaloids, chlorophyll, anthocyanins, and carotenoids. Community service is carried out in Tamantirto village which is a village in the Kasihan District, Bantul Regency. The culture of the Tamantirto people is not what it was 10 years ago with its rural characteristics, but now it has shifted into an urban area. What is striking is the shift in land use, especially the yard that is owned, no longer for growing crops but for residential/student boarding houses. With the limited land available, microgreen cultivation training is an alternative that is quite solutive and at the same time economically valuable, which can be implemented in Tamantirto village.

Abstract

Tourism industry, one of the most effective instrument for promoting regional development, community empowerment, and efforts to reduce poverty. This study aims to solve tourism-related problems in Tajen Village, Penebel District, Tabanan which has great potential in terms of agriculture and culture. The scope meaning of entrance tickets, the advantages and benefits of making entrance tickets, the design of entrance tickets, and the ongoing plans for this entry ticket in Tajen Village. The method used is direct observation, discussions with Ajik Kisuda and designing entrance tickets. The results of this entry ticket design are expected to realize the Pokdarwis program in increasing community participation in the management and implementation of operational activities for the implementation of the Tajen Tourism Village offered to tourists. The entrance design used as a work program later if it continues to carry out it will bring better benefits to tajen village. To bring about sustainable empowerment of people, in accordance with the desired vision from tajen village to become a tourist village. So that with this entry ticket it can attract tourists to visit as well as a symbolic form of the Tajen Tourism Village.

Abstract

This research is a result of STT Bethel Indonesia college student's dedication to Papuan people as evidence of our concern about highly HIV/AIDS cases in province of Papua. Papua is a province inhabited by a majority Christian population, but the reality of highly HIV/ AIDS cases in this province means low quality of reproductive health for the people of Papua. The implementation method which used in these activities are Webinar with explanation about the issues of reproductive health from the speaker, discussion interactive from the participants and speaker through questions and answers session, journal publishing as a result of this activities. As a result of this activities that have been carried out are the participants have received education about knowledge of reproductive organs, the functions and kinds of diseases on reproductive organs. The participants also have received education about HIV/AIDS anticipation and received practical tips to maintain reproductive health.
