Abstract

Anorganic fertilizers that are used continuously for a long time will result in land degradation and farmers’ dependence on the use of anorganic fertilizers. For the reason, needs to be accompanied by the organic fertilizer in form of compost. Compost row materials are easy to obtain because they come from agricultural and livestock waste whitch has not been utilized optimally. Making compost from agricultural and livestock waste must continue to be developed by providing training. The aim of activity is to increase participants’ knowledge and skills in making organic fertilizer so that they can reduce the use of anorganic fertilizer. The activity was carried out in the form of a demonstration on how to make compost fertilizer. The organic materials use are goat dung, cow dung, swallow dung, banana weevil, pineapple peel, Chromolaena leaves, Gliricidia leaves, rice straw, EM4, brown sugar and water. The activity begins with preparing tools and materials, weighing the ingredients, mixing ant storing them in container for fermentation. As a result of this activity is that participants understand how to make compost fertilizer, the materials that can be used and produce compost products.

Abstract

The Dasa Wisma Bougenville 5B Mulyoagung Village group has been established for one year but until now there have been no activities because they do not have a work program. Even though Dasa Wisma has an important role in creating a prosperous family. For this reason, assistance is needed in managing this organization so that it can play a role in mobilizing its members so that the organization's goals can be realized. The aim of mentoring activities for Partners, namely the Dasa Wisma Bougenville 5B group, is, first, to help create organizational structures and work programs as well as practice implementing work programs. Second, entrepreneurship assistance in the form of establishing group or individual businesses. The implementation method is in the form of lectures, training and mentoring. The results of these activities were the formation of an organizational structure, work program and the formation of 4 Working Groups which immediately started their activities in the form of religious activities (learning tahsin, recitation and interpretation) every Saturday morning and training in corpse care. Entrepreneurship assistance in the form of education and entrepreneurial practice in producing dishwashing soap and marketing it. Environmental conservation activities include sorting and collecting plastic, electronic, glass, paper and cardboard waste to be sold together and the proceeds go to the organization's treasury. Dasa Wisma Bougenville 5B has been able to mobilize its members to be active in religious, entrepreneurial and environmental activities. Members who are active in Dasa Wisma activities are expected to increase their knowledge, organizational and entrepreneurial skills so that the goal of creating a prosperous family can be achieved.

Abstract

Every individual in society and in society is definitely faced with a situation where he or she has to speak in public (public speaking). Many people when speaking in public experience tremendous psychological pressure, feeling very nervous, nervous, not confident and so on. To be able to speak well in public, special skills and maximum preparation are needed, including mastery of the stage, mastery of the material to be presented, good use of language, appropriate use of body language, voice intonation, facial expressions, vocal training and so on..The Muhammadiyah Budi Mulia Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) Jember Regency has at least 30 foster children living at various levels of education from elementary school to university. The foster children at LKSA are busy every day with routine activities such as formal school, joining organizations and within the LKSA itself, foster children are also required to take part in pre-programmed diniyah activities. There are several activities that require foster children to be proficient in public speaking, including the participation of foster children in various student organization activities, one of the programs of which is public speaking, including scientific orations, lectures and cults. These various activities are an obligation for all foster children to participate in. It is not uncommon for LKSA children to experience difficulties in transforming the message that must be conveyed. They looked very nervous, not confident, some of the foster children even stammered and even stopped talking

Abstract

In essence, teachers' duties are not limited to just teaching and being able to deliver learning material well, but teachers are also required to continuously develop, adopt various innovations and creations, study, observe and analyze many things in the world of education. Teachers determine the quality of students (output), and of course, the quality of the nation's education. If the teacher understands the task, the teacher will always improve his learning until he finds the best learning system. Efforts to improve the quality of learning actually contain elements of PTK. The aim of action research is to improve practice in the world of education, researchers study their own problems that occur in the classroom or problems in schools or educational environments. The PkM activity approach method to support efforts to improve teacher performance and quality in the classroom learning process by compiling Class Action Research (PTK) can be realized through: implementing the preparation of Class Action Research (PTK) in the form of articles to strengthen teacher performance. The implementation plan for PkM activities consists of four stages, namely (1) implementation coordination, (2) program socialization, (3) implementation, and (4) evaluation of activity results

Abstract

Functional nocturnal enuresis is a condition in which children over the age of 4 without physical abnormalities or organic disease experience involuntary urine output during the day or night. Bedwetting can result in loss of self-confidence, damage relationships, and affect children's social developmen. Suparno, et al, found that 22.7% of RA Melati YPNH Baturaja were unable to control enuresis . There are several students who wet the bed when they wake up at night and parents have never been educated about enuresis. The aim of this activity is to increase parents' knowledge, attitudes and abilities about Enuresis. Methods used: lecture, question and answer, and self and group reflection. It was found that the level of insufficient knowledge before education was 100%. After education, the level of knowledge was good 64.28%, sufficient 32.14% and poor 3.57%. There was an increase in the percentage of knowledge of 96.42%. Proactive actions taken by parents to understand bedwetting and actively participate in dealing with bedwetting. Of the 10 children who still wet the bed after evaluation between 2 - 4 months, it was found that 90% of the children no longer wet the bed. The forms of behavioral intervention are as follows: walking (24.13%), lifting (3.44%), reward system (10.34%), limiting drinking before bed (24.13%), limiting playing time (10.34) and Urination before bed (31.03%).

Abstract

The global industrial transition to the era of digitalization occurred at the same time as the expansion of the Internet, which had a major impact on this transition during the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been proven that digital marketing initiatives including creating websites, using social media, and using e-commerce platforms strengthen the ability of SMEs to compete. A form of government effort to encourage community activities focused on increasing digitalization to remote areas through academic institutions, whether universities or high schools, and training institutions that intensively explore the issue of digitalization. The important role of entrepreneurship through SMEs has also been shown to be very significant in encouraging the regional economy. Research examining studies on the main topic of marketing digitalization shows the use of digital marketing media such as; electronic commerce, electronic platforms, mobile marketing, e-marketing, and social media. The results of implementing this Community Service activity are in accordance with the objectives to be achieved in this activity, namely, increasing the insight of village youth as measured by responses during participant feedback. The majority of young men and women do not know that digital marketing media can be used to sell any product that has sales value. In addition, some participants who already had products expressed their interest in selling products through the marketplace platform which was conveyed in the activity simulation.

Abstract

Abstract: MSME actors in Kasturi Village, Kuningan Regency still have limited knowledge and practice in managing business finances, both from a lack of literacy and minimal business recording and bookkeeping. In fact, some of them still combine business finances and personal finances. This will of course have a negative impact on the sustainability of these MSMEs. Therefore, this service to the community aims to increase the literacy and ability of MSME players in making good business financial records and bookkeeping as well as carrying out financial management separate from personal wallets so as to improve control of business financial flows to be able to develop their business. The approach used to overcome this problem is through providing literacy, financial recording training and business bookkeeping training which is carried out over 3 days. The results obtained from this activity were that all participants were able to understand the importance of managing business finances and were able to make good daily records and business bookkeeping so that they were able to improve their skills in managing business finances and controlling business finances. Apart from that, it is hoped that the financial management process that has been provided can be implemented to support the sustainability and development of these MSMEs. Abstract

Common problems with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the community are the lack of ability of MSME actors to increase income and a lack of knowledge about how to obtain additional capital through bank credit or from investors. MSMEs in the North Meruya sub-district face difficulties obtaining additional capital to sustain their businesses. The Mercu Buana University (UMB) Community Service Team (PkM) wants to help MSMEs in North Meruya District by providing guidance and assistance in making financial and administrative reports, which are a requirement for applying for banking credit. Implementation of PkM activities revealed that the participating MSME business owners had not used credit facilities from the government and banks to achieve business sustainability. MSME players also have not prepared financial reports that comply with accounting standards and have not prepared complete documents for the requirements for applying for banking credit. Apart from that, related parties, banking institutions, and the government have not been able to share information regarding banking credit that should be conveyed to MSME players. For this reason, cooperation between banking institutions, the government, and the community needs to be improved so that MSME players have information about credit requirements and application procedures.

Abstract

The production process of Batik Tulis in Paseseh Village, Tanjung Bumi Subdistrict, Bangkalan Regency uses conventional methods starting from batik with canting, the fixation process of mixing colouring and ngelorot malam so that there are problems, namely: production capacity, product quality and competitiveness are still low. The purpose of the empowerment programme for business partners of regional superior products is to provide the application of technological innovations in the malam pelorot machine, mixing natural and synthetic dyes and creative content so as to increase production capacity, minimise product damage, sales volume, batik craftsmen's profits and product competitiveness. The method used is in the form of training, mentoring and practice of technological innovation to partner 1 and partner 2: 1) Night pelorot machine in partner 2: can increase production capacity by 40%, defective product damage rate decreased by 3%, company profits increased by 35%, and sales volume increased by 30%, 2) Training, mentoring and practice of mixing natural and synthetic colouring can increase the knowledge of partner 1 and partner 2 by 30% to 65%, 3) Training, Mentoring and Practice of Creative Content Creation can increase knowledge and skills in creative content creation for partner 1 and partner 2 by 60%.
