Abstract

The focus of research is how to analyze social studies learning material in primary school class VI themes 1-3 in the Kemendikbud publishers book. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how the social studies learning material for primary school class VI themes 1-3 in the book publish by Ministry of Education and Culture. This type of research is qualitative research. The research was conducted at SDN Tambahsari and SDN Payang 3 Pati for the 2020/ 2021 school year. Sources of data in this study were thematic textbooks class VI themes 1-3 published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, class VI teachers, and lecturers. The result of this study indicate that the scope of Social Sciences (IPS) class VI themes 1-3 in a book published by Ministry of Education and Culture contains geography, history, and economic learning material. In each theme there are only ono and two scopes of Social Sciences (IPS). Geographical scope is in theme 1, historical scope is in theme 2 and theme 3, economic scope is in theme 1 and theme 3.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of guidance for students families so that it has an impact on the results of learning mathematics students. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design that aims to determine wether there is a relationship between family guidance and learning outcomes for V grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Cellu II. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family guidance and mathematics learning outcomes for V grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Cellu II with t-count (5,567) is greater (>) the t-table value (1,697), which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the analysis of the date above, it can be concluded that family guidance will have an impact on the mindset of students in learning so that it will affect the motivation and learning outcomes of students in the classroom. So, the better the family guidance, the better students learning outcomes will be. From these conlisions,, the impact resulting from this study is know that good family guidance will improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of development products Articulate Storyline in the implementation of learning and increasing scientific literacy of high school students. The research method uses the Borgmodel and Gall adapted from Sugiyono. The research subjects were 11th graders of SDN 2 Sukamanah. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, tests, and literacy studies. The research results are based on the results of the validation of experts, practitioners, and student responses. The score obtained from experts and practitioners on the feasibility of content and objectives is 64 (very good), media characteristics/instructional quality is 22.5 (very good), and technical suitability is 41 (good). In student responses, the results obtained on the feasibility of content and objectives are 56.8 with very good category, media characteristics/instructional quality are 16.6 with good category, and technical suitability is 42 with very good category. Scientific literacy of students can be seen from the results of the sample t-test two pairs in which the results are H1 received and H0 is rejected, in other words the existence of enhancing science literacy of high-grade students after using the product development Articulate Storyline.

Abstract

English is a universal language that needs to be mastered in order to be able to compete with the development of this world. Therefore, learning English needs to be given at elementary school age. In language learning the most basic thing is vocabulary. Mastery of vocabulary also determines one's language ability. However, in learning in elementary schools, media assistance is needed to help students understand the material. Technological developments are increasingly rapid, with that learning media that can be used are increasingly diverse, one of which is animated films. This study aims to determine the effect of animated film media on vocabulary mastery of fifth grade students in elementary school. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded that: 1) it was found that there was an effect on students' vocabulary from animated film media with a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05, those Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. 2) the average difference in student learning outcomes with a value of 42.18 in the control class and 45.18 in the experimental class. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the animated film media has a significant influence on the vocabulary mastery of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the correlation between emotional intelligence and Students’ English academic achievement. This research used correlational design. The population was the second year students of SMA Negeri 1 Parepare and the method used for taking sample was simple random sampling. The data were obtained through questionnaires and document study. The data on students’ emotional intelligence and English academic achievement were analyzed by using inferential and descriptive statistics, Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis through SPSS 27 for windows to find out whether or not there was correlation between them. The result of the research showed that there was a positive correlation between students’ emotional intelligence and English academic achievement (r = 0.892)  It was concluded that the correlation between emotional intelligence English academic achievement of the second year students of SMA Negeri 1 Parepare were very high. The positive coefficient indicated the positive correlation, that if the emotional intelligence increases, English academic achievement will also increase.

Abstract

The educational process that relies on face-to-face only is traditional teaching system that runs slowly and does not keep pace the times. Since the discovery of multimedia communication media, appropriate information and communication technology the basis for cutting-edge learning. Ideal demands of the 2013 Curriculum use ICT to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning. Observation results show the implementation e-learning at SDN 01 Kejambon is not optimal, SD and a source information. Teachers not been fully able to create teaching materials on internet, interactive forums in cyber world, or test using E-learning system. The results interviews with students showed that some students did not understand E-learning-based learning well. Responding these problems, inecessary to conduct study of implementation analysis to determine the implementation of e-learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of ESD-based critical thinking performance assessment in the online learning process and to find out the difficulties that occur when using critical thinking performance assessment instruments during the online learning process. The research was conducted in elementary schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects used in this study were high school elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that teachers have difficulty in evaluating critical thinking performance in Education for Sustinable Development (ESD) based learning which contains three perspectives, namely environmental, social and economic which is carried out online. Teachers cannot use performance appraisal instruments optimally due to several reasons such as the lack of supporting facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of the online learning process and teachers also cannot see directly the work of students' assignments.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the character building and the reading ability of the second-grade students of SDI Bontoloe. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted at SDI Inpres Bontoloe in the odd semester of academic year 2020/2021. The subjects of this research were teachers and the second-grade students of SDI Bontoloe. The sample of this research is 17 students. The research instrument is observation, learning outcomes test and documentation. The data analysis technique is the analysis of teacher teaching and student learning activities, students’ character and students’ reading ability analysis. From the results of student learning activities in cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that there was an increase of reading ability of the second-grade students of SDI Bontoloe from 52.09% to 88.22%. Likewise, students’ learning outcomes have increased. It shows that there was an increase at students’ learning activities in reading ability through the use of picture card game method.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that aims to determine the availability, condition, and use of science learning media at SDN 41 Mallari, Awangpone District, Bone Regency. The subjects in this study were teachers of grades I, II, III, IV, V, and VI. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction analysis techniques, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the availability of science learning media is not fully available in accordance with the standard in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2013 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Basic Education in Districts/Cities and eleven types according to the scope of science learning materials in elementary schools. Most of the science learning media are in a damaged condition, both the complete and incomplete available media, and the absence of special officers who take care of the science learning media makes the media unmanageable, with the availability of damaged learning media and incomplete components making the media can not be used.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (i) the effect of rewards on social studies learning achievement; (ii) the effect of teaching style on social studies learning achievement; and (iii) the effect of reward and teaching style simultaneously on social studies learning achievement at SD Negeri 2 Wonco. Methods This research uses the type of ex post facto research. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population is all students of SD Negeri 2 Wonco, totaling 136 people for the 2020/2021 academic year. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that a sample of 45 was determined. The data analysis technique uses prerequisite analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the study show that rewards have a significant effect on social studies learning achievement, this indicates that if the reward is good, the learning achievement of students increases; teaching style has a significant influence on social studies learning achievement, this shows that if the contribution of teaching style is in a good category, the learning achievement of students increases; reward and teaching style simultaneously have a significant effect on social studies learning achievement, this shows that the contribution between reward and teaching style affects the improvement of students' learning achievement.
