Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of learning media on prayer procedures that have not been maximized, thus causing students' incomprehension of the sequence of prayer procedures. Therefore, researchers try to use learning media in the form of Snakes and Ladders media which has advantages that can produce an interesting and interactive atmosphere for the learning process. The purpose of this study is to assess whether the use of snakes and ladders media can improve students' understanding of the basic sequence of basic prayers and student participation in prayer activities at TPQ Darul Taqwa Ganting Sidoarjo. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, the sample in this research is TPQ Darul Taqwa students. The results showed that the ability to understand the prayer procedures increased and significantly by using snakes and ladders media. The ability to understand the prayer procedures is shown by students with the ability to remember the prayer sequence when the educator asks to practice it.

Abstract

Islamic religion in particular is an important component of education that must be taught to all students, even those who are deaf. Due to their hearing limitations, deaf children have special difficulties when learning the Qur'ān. Qur'ānic learning strategies for severely deaf children - that is, children who have both deafness and hearing loss - will be discussed in this article. Children who are severely deaf and have low literacy levels will have difficulty understanding the language around them. The technique of lip reading and writing Hijaiyah letters is used in the Qur'ānic learning method used in this study. Deaf children are instructed to practice their lips according to the makhorijul of the hijaiyah letters. It takes about six months to learn the hijaiyah letters by heart, with specific learning stages and techniques used. A descriptive qualitative methodology combining observation, interviews and documentation was used in this study. The information collected is presented in the form of images, videos and text. This research provides an alternative to efficiently teach deaf children to recite the Qur'an through the application of this method. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the current state of society's attraction to the quality of education, especially in relation to the introduction of autonomous learning. Descriptive qualitative research is the methodology used in this study, and data were collected through literature review, interviews, and observations. We can conclude that the implementation of autonomous learning can help to appreciate the importance of education quality in attracting public attention and fostering public trust in educational institutions. The main purpose of this autonomous learning policy is to offer suggestions for improving teaching standards in Indonesia, focusing on the curriculum, teaching force and learning outcomes. By integrating character values, raising teaching standards, and improving the learning environment, the Pancasila Student Project (P5) significantly improves the quality of education. P5 supports a holistic approach that combines academic achievement with the development of character and social skills, creating more engaging and quality schools. By involving all stakeholders and utilizing evaluation and feedback, P5 can continue to adapt and evolve, meeting the dynamic needs of education and supporting the formation of a better future generation.

Abstract

This study examines how pesantren, especially Fadlillah pesantren, regarding santri self-adjustment, with an emphasis on the function of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. Direct observation, documentation study, and in-depth interviews are the approaches used to collect data using phenomenological qualitative methodology. Islamic Education teachers are recognised as very important in helping students face various obstacles today. It is hoped that this research will provide a thorough understanding of the role played by PAI teachers in helping students to adjust to their own lives. This research can also serve as a model for the establishment of Islamic religious teaching and guidance in pesantren. The importance of self-adjustment in the field of psychology provides insight into how people manage obstacles and changes in everyday life. Self-adjustment is usually defined as the ability to control emotions, resolve internal conflicts, and adjust to the social environment. Important phases of adjustment are discussed, including recognising barriers, assessing substitutes, and practising new behaviours. Significant implications for learning and personal growth are also touched upon, emphasising the important role of self-adjustment in enhancing one's psychological and social well-being.

Abstract

When a Muslim dies, he will not take his wealth to the grave, all his deeds will be cut off except for three things, namely sadaqah jariyah, prayers for righteous children, and useful knowledge. Knowledge that provides benefits is knowledge that makes a Muslim know his duties, functions and roles on earth. So, he gets closer and loves Allah SWT, not only world affairs, useful knowledge must also include religious affairs and everything related to it, and enter (dwell) in the recesses of the human heart, then give birth to feelings of calm, fear, surrender, humble himself and admit his weakness before Allah SWT. The virtue of people who study is that their reward will be carried until they die. To obtain valid research results, it is necessary to select sources, both primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data source of this research is the book “Ta`lim Muta`alim” by Imam Az-Zarnuji. While secondary data sources are scientific works. The concept of useful knowledge according to the perspective of the Book of Ta'lim Muta'allim by Imam Az-Zarnuji which contains recommendations for someone (tholib) who demands knowledge must have the intention of seeking knowledge, choosing knowledge, teachers and friends, honoring knowledge and scholars, sincerity, keistiqomahan and enthusiasm, learning strategies, tawakkal and wara' guarding themselves from bad deeds.

Abstract

The purpose of discipline research in pesantren is to maintain discipline at all times so that students do not commit or repeat offenses. Therefore, the way to create awareness of santri discipline can be achieved through humanistic education, namely always fostering good behavior and mutual respect between fellow human beings. Humanistic coaching of santri discipline in An-nur Islamic boarding school through environmental arrangements that support santri discipline such as mosques, dormitories and schools. Furthermore, the child-friendly boarding school program uses logical consequences so that there is no cruel punishment system, no more corporal punishment or the like on students. This type of research uses field research using descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data generated from interviews and observations were then analyzed qualitatively. Qualitative analysis is carried out to understand the meaning of the data obtained. This research is expected to contribute to improving the quality of student discipline coaching at An-Nur Islamic Boarding School and other boarding schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Nussa and Rara video media on improving the practice of dhikr worship at MI Al-Ahmad Krian. This research uses quantitative methods with the type of Quasi Experiment with the form of Nonquivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study took 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results of the data were collected through pretest questions and postest questions and analyzed using the independent tites test. This study uses an experimental method with an independent sample t-test, the sample in this study is class 3 as an experimental class and class 4 as a control class, where the number of students from both classes is 40 with the number of each class as many as 20 children. The results showed that the Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.010 <0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This shows that learning using animated videos has a significant effect on students' understanding of ablution procedures at MI Al-Ahmad Krian.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative method with an inductive approach that uses thematic analysis techniques. In the research that will be involved there are ten subjects, namely, five respondents from students who have experienced punishment during the disciplinary process and five active students who are minimal in violations. Data collection methods using observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Thus, this study can provide insight into the character and morals of students. the factors that cause students who receive punishment in the disciplinary process and the impact of students after receiving punishment in discipline. receiving punishment in the disciplinary process at the boarding school is a process that is instilled so that students are active and firm in discipline. So it is important for administrators or caregivers to model a disciplined life in boarding schools and create a safe and respectful environment for fellow non-nurturing administrators, to support the superior character of students in carrying out discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the problematics of BTQ learning at SMK Pemuda Krian, both from internal and external factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that internal factors affecting the ability to read the Qur'an of class X DKV students include student motivation, intelligence, and interest and talent in the pronunciation of Arabic letters. The main obstacles faced are difficulties in pronouncing hijaiyah letters according to makhraj, limited basic knowledge of makharijul huruf and tajweed, and the influence of local dialects. Influential external factors include the family environment, parental support, and teacher teaching methods. Efforts and strategies implemented by SMK Pemuda Krian to overcome these obstacles include regular practice programs and special classes, dialectical approaches and basic training in makharijul huruf, theory classes and practical tajweed exercises, and the provision of adequate learning resources. This study concludes that these various factors and strategies greatly affect students' ability to read the Qur'an properly and correctly.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Javanese translation methods in Al Fattah Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo. The translation method in this pesantren uses two main approaches: Tarjamah ḥarfiyyah (literal) and tarjamah tafsiriyyah (interpretive), which ensures a deep understanding for the students. The results show that this translation method not only enhances religious understanding but also plays a role in preserving local culture. Santri feel closer to the teachings of Islam because they can understand them in their mother tongue, Javanese. In addition, the translation enriches the Javanese vocabulary and strengthens its position in the religious context. The integration of Islamic teachings with Javanese culture through translation also increases appreciation and understanding of the teachings, and supports the preservation and development of local culture. Another positive impact is the improvement of the quality of da'wah in local communities, as Islamic teachings are delivered in a more relevant and acceptable way. The research method uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach is a qualitative data analysis technique to reveal the common meaning that is the essence of a concept.
