Abstract

Resistensi antibiotik saat ini merupakan ancaman kesehatan global yang muncul akibat penggunaan antibiotik yang salah dan berlebihan sehingga meningkatkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas. Informasi tentang resistensi antibiotik sangat penting untuk menentukan pengobatan yang ideal bagi pasien. Ketersedian data terkait resistensi antibiotika di Bali masih cukup rendah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi profil kerentanan antibiotik pada isolat bakteri klinik di RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar Bali menggunakan metode retrospektif tahun 2018. Data tersebut meliputi jenis antibiotik yang diuji, nama isolat bakteri klinis, sumber isolasi. dan profil resistensi antibiotik. Diantara 65 isolat bakteri klinis, ditemukan keragaman bakteri patogen yang tinggi dan dikelompokkan menjadi 22 spesies, dimana Escherichia coli, Klebsiela pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumanii dan Staphylococcus aureus merupakan empat isolat dominan yang diidentifikasi. Paparan terhadap 17 jenis antibiotika menunjukkan bahwa isolat bakteri dominan resisten terhadap levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, dan gentamycin. Sedangkan isolat dominan tersebut rentan terhadap meropenem, amikacyin dan ampicillin-sulbactam. Surveilans rutin untuk mengetahui profil resistensi antibiotik penting dilakukan dan direkomendasikan untuk menghasilkan antibiotikogram lokal sebagai pedoman untuk mengatasi infeksi patogen.

Abstract

Nutritional problems in school-age children can occur because of less knowledge. School-age period is the right time for provide nutrition education. Nutrition education needs the interesting and fun media to make it easier to understand, such as crossword puzzles and animation videos. This study aims is to determine the influence of nutrition education with crossword puzzles and animation videos on balanced nutrition knowledge in school-age children. The methods that used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest and posttest group design. The 54 students aged 10 to 12 from fifth graders were selected by stratified random sampling and divided into two media groups. The statistical tests utilized are the independent and paired sample t-tests. The majority of responders were male (63%) and 11 years old (79.6%). The results showed that there were differences in the influence of nutrition education before and after being given crossword puzzles (p = 0.003) and animation video (p = 0.000) on balanced nutrition knowledge. The results also showed that there was no difference in the effectiveness of nutrition education between crossword puzzles and animated videos on balanced nutrition knowledge (p = 0.987). Crossword puzzles and animation videos have an impact for given balanced nutrition education on school-aged children. Animation videos is more effective in increasing balanced nutrition knowledge on school-age children compared to crossword puzzles. It is recommended that the government and schools implement nutrition education initiatives using engaging and entertaining media, such as animation videos.

Abstract

Generic drugs are drugs with the official name International Nonproprietary Names (INN) which are stipulated in the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia or other standard books for the efficacy substances they contain. Generic drugs are often considered low-quality drugs because of their affordable price. The lack of public knowledge about generic drugs is the main factor that makes these drugs underutilized. As prospective pharmacists, pharmacy students are responsible for providing drug information. The purpose of this research was to understand the level of students of STIKES ISFI Banjarmasin regarding generic drugs. The type of this research was non-experimental using a cross-sectional design. The gathering of data used a questionnaire using Google Forms with the prospective method. The gathering of samples used the saturated sampling technique, namely all active students in STIKES ISFI Banjarmasin totaling 350 students, with inclusion criteria. The data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS, then presented in a form of a table. The result of the level of generic drugs knowledge research among the STIKES ISFI Banjarmasin student was obtained with the high understanding category as many as 186 respondents (53.14%), moderate as many as 146 respondents (41.72%), low understanding as many as 18 respondents (5.14%) and with an average of understanding from 350 respondents including good category with 76.63% of right answers.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a determining factor for adolescent quality because a person in adulthood is determined by nutritional status in adolescence. The process of growth and development will be perfect with optimal nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and physical activity with the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the 8th grade of State Junior High School 1, Banjarbaru. This study used an analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 119 students in the 8th grade of Junior High School 1, Banjarbaru. The research instruments used were questionnaires, a stature meter, and a digital weight scale. The data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents (77.3%) had good knowledge, 54.6% had moderate physical activity, 53.8% had good nutritional status. The statistical tests showed a significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and the nutritional status of adolescent girls in Junior High School 1, Banjarbaru (p=0.000) and physical activity had a relationship with the nutritional status of adolescent girls in Junior High School 1, Banjarbaru (p=0.000). Based on this study, it can be concluded that nutrition knowledge and physical activity are associated with the nutritional status of adolescent girls. Therefore, respondents are expected to maintain their nutritional status by regularly monitoring their weight and height.

Abstract

Cases in Indonesia are still showing an increase in the number of positive cases exposed to COVID-19, so the government has implemented various efforts to reduce the number of positive cases in Indonesia. One of them is the policy of using masks. The use of mask is part of a comprehensive series of prevention and control measures that can limit the spread of certain viral respiratory tract diseases, including COVID-19. Masks can be used to protect healthy people (used to protect themselves when in contact with infected people) or to control the source (used by an infected person to prevent further transmission). One of the methods to increase compliance with wearing masks is to increase patient understanding of the importance of preventing transmission of the corona virus by obediently wearing masks. The results showed that respondents with low knowledge in the use of mask were 51.7% with a total of 120 respondents and those with good knowledge were 48.3% with a total of 112 respondents. Respondents with poor compliance in using masks were 39.7% with a total of 92 respondents and those with good compliance in using masks were 60.3% with a total of 140 respondents. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was no relationship between public knowledge and compliance with the use of mask in Samarinda City with a p-value of 0.146 (p-value>0.05).

Abstract

Seluang fish and cowpea are one of foods high in calcium and iron, and thereby they can be used to treat anemia in adolescent girls. A total of 100 g of seluang fish contains 80 mg calcium and 4,7 mg iron. A total of 100 g of cowpea contains 77 mg calcium and 6,50 mg iron which are high enough to be used as a basic ingredient for cookies. This study aimed to determine the differences in the calcium and iron contents and acceptability of cookies made from seluang and cowpea in all treatments. This study used the pure experimental design with a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three times replication with the proportions of wheat flour, seluang fish, and cowpea as follows: P0 (100%:0%:0%), P1 (65%:25%:10%), P2 (65%:20%:15%), and P3 (65%:15%:20%). Calcium and iron contents were analyzed using the One-Way Anova while the acceptability was analyzed using the Friedman test. The results showed that there were differences in calcium content in all treatments (p<0,001) and the highest calcium content was found in P1 (32,62 g) while the highest iron content was found in P1 (2,17 g). There was no difference in iron content in all treatments (p=0,185). The addition of seluang fish and cowpea affected the acceptability of cookies in all treatments, indicated by the significance value of each aspect as follows: color (p<0,001), aroma (p<0,001), texture (p<0,001), taste (p<0,001).

Abstract

Complementary food is nutritious food and drink as a transition from breast milk to family food. The positive and negative aspects are contained in one's knowledge and will determine one's attitude. The 2015 revised Maternal and Child Health handbook contains records of maternal and child health to maintain and care for maternal and child health. The objective of this research is determine the effect of education on complementary feeding with the 2015 revised Maternal and Child Health handbook on mothers’ knowledge and attitude of complementary feeding in West Pontianak District. This is a quasi experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. Taking 66 samples with consecutive sampling. Knowledge and attitude questionnaires and material evaluation sheets are used as measuring tools. Data analysis use paired sample t-test with the wilcoxon signed-rank test as an alternative test. There were 12 mothers who had a moderate level of knowledge before education, then increased to 21 mothers after education. The results of the wilcoxon signed-rank test obtained the sig. value < 0.05. The mothers’ attitude in terms of complementary feeding and feeding rules are changed between before and after education. Education with the 2015 revised Maternal and Child Health handbook had a significant effect on increasing the category of mothers' knowledge of complementary food and changing mothers' attitude in feeding rules. However, it is still necessary to add material based on the latest scientific evidence in the 2015 revised Maternal and Child Health handbook.

Abstract

Nutrition services as part of hospital services have a very important role that affecting patient confidence. The purpose of this research was to identify the association between the quality of nutrition service, food quality, and nutritional counseling toward patient satisfaction at Balaraja Hospital. This was analytical research with a cross-sectional design. The number of research samples was 122 subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires which included questions such as patient’s identity, quality of nutrition service, food quality, nutritional counseling, and patient satisfaction. The questionnaire was given in the form of questions and answers in the form of a Likert scale. Data analysis was done by using a statistical test using Chi-Square with the level of significance of ? = 0,05. The results of a statistical test to determine the relationship between the quality of service provided by officers (reliability) with patient satisfaction obtained a value of p = 0,001. The relationship between the service quality of officers (responsiveness) with patient satisfaction showed a value of p = 0,04. The relationship between the quality of service provided by officers (assurance) and patient satisfaction obtained a value of p = 0,001. Statistical test results to determine the relationship between food quality with patient satisfaction received a value of p = 0,004. The results of statistical tests were carried out to determine the relationship between nutritional consultation with patient satisfaction, obtaining a value of p = 0,007. There is a relationship between nutrition services, food quality, and nutritional counseling on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Medical recorders can be directly or indirectly infected with the coronavirus, and even the risk will be greater. Medical recorders who handle parts of patient files can be at risk of infection because they are in direct contact with patient files that may have been exposed to the coronavirus, so medical records need to be handled properly. This study aims to evaluate the handling of medical record documents related to the spread of covid-19 infection at the Tk.III Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin Hospital. This research uses a qualitative approach to descriptive methods, with 4 primary informants (2 nurses for COVID-19 patients and 2 medical record officers) and 2 triangulation informants (the head nurses for COVID-19 patients and the head of the medical record installation). The research instrument used was an observation and interview guide. The results showed that the procedures for maintaining medical records during the treatment period at Tk.III Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin Hospital have not made regulations in written form including Standard Operating Procedure. The nurse learned that the medical records of Covid-19 patients should be placed in the nurse station and should not be taken to the treatment room to avoid virus contamination. The filling of medical record documents for Covid-19 patients is no different from ordinary patients. Procedures for maintaining medical records of Covid-19 patients who go home or die at Tk.III.Dr.R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin hospital has made rules in the form of Standard Operating Procedure but some procedures cannot be carried out.

Abstract

One of the antioxidants that can increase the body's immunity is bitter leaf (Andrographis paniculata (Burm. f) Nees). This leaf is rarely used. Therefore, it is used with more interesting processing such as ice cream. This study was to determine antioxidant activity, overrun, melting speed, organoleptic characteristics and preference level of the ice cream of bitter leaf extract. Method is Completely Randomized Design (CRD). There were 3 treatments, namely 8%, 16% and 24% of bitter leaf extract. The results of the antioxidant activity test on the ice cream of bitter leaft extract, the three formulas have a very weak antioxidant content. The highest overrun ice cream test results, namely formula 3 50%. The results of the ice cream melting speed test on the three formulas still do not meet the standards for a good ice cream melting speed. The results of statistical test analysis on indicators of color, aroma, taste and texture showed there was a significant difference from the statistical test results obtained p-value <0.05. The most preferred level of preference for bitter leaf extract ice cream was formula 1. It could be concluded that the bitter leaf extract ice cream was acceptable to the public.
